    excellent video bro. I had a 26ft box Truck OTR. Let me tell you something folks. Its all good untill you stuck on the side of the road thousands of miles from home. Paying for Hotels, Towing Expenses and Truck repairs while you wait to get your truck back moving.oh and they charge you w.e they want because they know you far from home:) Sprinter van/cargo van local work. Better balanced life for your drivers and you can scale because its predictable income every week. nobody is going to sleep in vans going over the road for you missing time away from home. I wouldnt even do that for myself lol. Love your videos bro lets gooooo

    Two things that separates OTR to local work is doing 30+ stops a day compared to 1 and not touching it. As well as negotiating for more per Mile , while the route is set in stone.

    • @Tony.Ruiz08
      @Tony.Ruiz08  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I was my first year. Just make sure all maintenance is up to date, nice good winter tires and hope for the best. Usually where I am they clean the snow/roads in matter of hours. What worries the most is the icy roads and accidents. Plus gig apps you choose when to work, if it’s too risky, don’t come out although that’s when they pay the most.

    • @Tony.Ruiz08
      @Tony.Ruiz08  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Let’s say you apply somewhere and they got one route available. Usually you’ll see a list of stops and locations. You bid for the route based on your calculations. One time bid and that’s it. once you acquire it, you may try to negotiate the rate in the future or add stops for more money.

    I currently run a chevy astro only on gig apps but i am close to getting a contract because the gig app game is done imo. Im hoping to run it for about a year to see how much i can make and move up to a bigger van.
