I appreciate the comment, and I have been posting more videos about it stating that its not easy to get money like nor is it the usual but this client I did work for used to give me a job about 2 times a month. This was the longest one by far and it is less rare down in Florida cause they are located in PA. But I totally get what you’re saying and will continue to express that its not the norm. My push with this stuff is for people that do this to get the direct clients. I know that you have had good luck on the road but me and my 2 buddies have not and we just work on personal clients cause they have always paid us $2+ per mile. @@Dynacologist lol it’s hard to find good loads for even semi trucks. Any business that is open to bidding is not a good look. Too many people to underbid even in box trucks. Also box trucks you have to stay at truck stops and weigh stations, get stopped by dot all the time, and deal with more bs.

0:01 You need an insulated wall behind the front seats. There's no reason to waste air conditioning on such a large storage area that doesn't require climate control. That wasted area just makes your MPG more expensive since the AC runs 4 times more than needed. That one round trip is 2,243 miles.

It’s great money. However, your overhead is more than just gas money. You should try to explain the fixed and variable costs in a little more detail. Everyone has to set money aside for the vehicle.(either payment or replacement cost). Insurance ,Maintenance.
What is the wheel base of your Promaster? Did you buy a new van or used, I have been looking at the 159" wheel base. That would give me 12" of length, could load 3 48x48 pallets. Any thoughts on what van to buy that would be much appreciated.
I have the 2500 159 wb high roof and being able to fit 3 pallets is really nice, if you can afford new i would go with that but i went with certified pre owned and had 70k miles on it, im at 240k now in 2.5 years lol
I work in trucking and want to move over to a sprinter van. Owner operator. I've always found my own lands for the truck using load board sites. How is it done for sprinter vans? Tired of the big truck. Are there sites?

I drive a Ford Transit cargo van over the road, now I only do local. Because over the road it's hard to sleep in the super hot van. You'll have to either idle the van with the a/c on or leave all the doors open with a fan on and all the bugs and mosquitoes will come and bite you. Second you will only rest for maybe 2 to 3 hours during the week maybe 5-6 days, you won't shower for about 4 days, truck stops are expensive. Sundays are no drop off and no pickup freight. So to stay awake is either a lot of red Bull or a lot of cocaine, facts 💯.. the brokers will push for time even though you are getting paid by the miles. If you are late delivery, they deduct that from your payment. Over the road sucks with Vans, I only travel into 2 states north Carolina and South Carolina. That way I'm home everyday.
