- The new version of macOS that's coming to your Mac later this year was officially unveiled this week at WWDC, and so in this video, we're going to go through what's new in macOS Sequoia.
The best new feature that Apple announced for the new version of macOS is honestly the new iPhone mirroring continuity feature. This does exactly what it says, it mirrors a version of your iPhone on your Mac so that you can not only see what's happening on your phone but you can control it too. You can type using the Mac's keyboard, navigate the UI with the trackpad, and you can even get your iPhone notifications on your Mac.

You have been able to tile windows, but not snap. There’s a reason almost every review says “we can now snap windows” because it’s a new feature.

I have a very strange use case for this. I have my iPhone mounted on a MagSafe stand and use the rear camera as a web cam (via Camo) pretty much all day during the week. Because the screen is facing away from me (and because I have it landscape), I can't really USE it when I'm doing that. I'm hoping this will allow me to keep my phone up, switch to Camo when I need to.
Interesting iPhone Mirroring isn't on the iPad, you'd think iOS devices would of been first to link up.
Dang some of the models Apple used in their example videos are hecka ugly. Weird.

When oh when will the SAVE or SAVE AS name field be wider. Common that narrow window is back from the 32 character file name limitation and even then it did not fit. If I stretch the save as dialog box wider, WHY NOT THE NAME FIELD ALSO!!!!!
iPhone mirroring means I won’t be getting an iPad. Which is a good thing for power user.
I thought you might be like many others who seem to actually think that iPad might be used as PC .
@@sameersheriff7078 I tried it for fun and it’s just a bigger iPhone with a keyboard. Which for certain apps is great but a majority of them are not optimized for iPad.
We had this before and they just took it out and now are bringing back gain..... 🤪 Nothing new here....

Actually on apple’s obsolete list and vintage list on their website I see the iPod Touch 4th generation on both lists is it really vintage or obsolete??
Command tab to the Finder, then click on the View menu > show toolbar, path bar, status bar to display that info in your Finder windows.
We do not need performance however we need more performance and stability.
When this update will be available no beta please

It’s real rubbish. The sim card version should be able to make phone calls and receive sms. And the ones with m-chip should run macOS instead of iOS, that’s what the users need

Best feature for sure but i was expecting same for iPad as well . We can actually use iPad as PC if we could mirror mac into it or vice versa ,lets hope for it in future as apple suddenly seems to be listening to its customer's needs .

Will it work if your phone is 3,4 meters away? I can only see this being useful in this case.
In the keynote he had it in a bag at a decent distance away so guessing so?
Maybe it works by being on the same Wi-Fi network? He did say if you had left the iPhone downstairs …. I seem to recall

It's because it doesn't have enough npu tops to do the on on device machine learning
Tons of folks are asking if they can turn Apple Intelligence off. I guess they'll be the ones getting 15/15 plus when 16 is released.

No, iPhone Mirroring requires either a Mac with Apple Silicon **or an Intel-based Mac with a T2 Security Chip**, so if you have something like a 2018 MacBook Pro, you should be good to go.

This is incorrect. You could not fully control your phone before.
