I really like the scene after the fight because it does such a good job reminding you that Shinada is just a guy who’s had his life messed up and his dream taken from him. He’s surrounded by men who’ve always lived by their codes, thus transcending into legend and that’s not me trying to say that the other guys aren’t endearing or less human than him. it’s just nice seeing someone so human trying to do the right thing whilst feeling sentimental over the life he couldn’t lead. Definitely on my top 5 favorite scenes of the franchise.
I have to say this boss probably has one of my favourite arenas in the series, there's something about fighting behind a crowd full of people and a stage that's just badass

Shinada's speech is so much better with this different localization. It really comes off as someone earnest, if not particularly articulate, telling someone to own up to the consequences of his own decisions and not to simply run away from it and let it hang over you for the rest of your life. It's the kind of monologue that someone like me definitely could make, making a clumsy metaphor like that.
Shinada is a great character. I pray we see him more.
Seeing that Saejima "Came back" after basically 5-8 years gives me some sliver of hope for more Shinada. (I don't count Y6 since he was barely there)

This fight is unironically one of my favorite fight in the whole series
I can't really explain why but having a fierce fight in the middle of a live stagr performance just feel like the coolest shit ever. And then there's the ending. Words can't explain how happy i was when i saw shinada found a place he can call home.

Well, he was a dude who (I think) wanted to kill someone (probably for no good purpose) so that’s why they didn’t give him one. Either that, or he was a lame side character.
Baba is probably the only non-main villance other than Kuze that has the best boss fight songs.
I really liked Shinan as a character, hope we can see him in future yakuza series. And Baba as well.
A masked guy in 7 looks like Shinada to some people, not saying it's him but people been making theories about it so
Shinada appears in Yakuza Online, in Ryuji's story.
Ryuji was actually a big fan of his baseball career, and beat up Shinada when he gave up baseball before giving him a part time job magazine(which led him to become the soapland journalist he is today).

It came before RGG 7, and while it ended up differently with different characters, it's more like a parallel universe.
For example... Han Joon Gi actually made contact with Ryuji as envoy from Jingweon in 1995. This was way before the story of the 2nd game.
@@ohnoitsbart6387 If you can dismiss the game as not canon, then it should be fine to resurrect all the dead characters. But no, they stay dead. Nishiki, Ryuji, Kashiwagi, Shimano, Kazama, Sera... all of them are in the game, but their stories are all from the time when they were still alive. Sera's story for example is from his time working with Jingu.
It's all in the past. They're still dead.

This is my second favorite fight in the series behind Toru Hirose
This really is one of my favorite fights in the series,the venue and the music really sell it for me.
Shinada is perfect for the new direction yakuza is going in with the teams. The capable Everyman/woman, like adachi/namba etc. he’d fit so well with ichiban. Likewise Akiyama.
Great performance, can't wait for the Aizawa one. Oh, and also Kanai. Keep up, pal.

Man, I’m glad to have finally played this game after seeing so many videos about it. The story maybe all over the place, but some of these fights are great.
This is another soundtrack I like most besides Receive and Bite You, Update with Gunfire, and Oath of Enma. In case you wanna know, The Mutual Fists is the title of this soundtrack.
Guess I'll add Yakuza soundtracks into my racing gameplay, sound fit to me.

Should I get the remastered collection? The only games I've played from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are Judgement and FotNS Lost Paradise.
yeah, you should play all of them starting from 0, kiwami 1, kiwami 2, remastered collection (3, 4, 5), 6, like a dragon and lost judgment
You haven't played yakuza then get them in order starting from 0.

This fight would have been even cooler if we fought with the concert as the background and the singing meshing with the boss theme. Or even if "I Believe in You" wound up being a song by Dream Line and we hear a final boss version of it

Always found this weird placed before Akiyama and Kiryu. Would of placed this fight at the very end if I designed the game.

baba is one of the easier boss ever! with shinada just wait his kick + r+t +c and heat action.. with kiryu is super mega easy, with saejima you can finished him in 1 minutes with strength at max.
