Thanks for your comment Richard. The airport will indeed open - just 12 to 15 months delay, which isn't bad going given the conditions and also the size and scope of the project. People think it's as easy as laying a bit of tarmac and building a shed! It's been a huge project. Hopefully commercial operations will begin Q3 2017!

Yes, regular flights have quickly become the norm on St Helena. I'll try to take some footage over the coming weeks and upload.
