My roommate came down stairs while I was hands up in a crescent lunge, and she came over and gave me a double high-five 😂 it was delightful, and it made me lose balance, and we just giggled together for a moment. I am grateful for so much! And I'm grateful for happy friendship moments like that! 🥰
I am so grateful, that despite my terror at my upcoming chemo and radiotherapy, that I am eligible for treatment. I'm grateful for the incredible support network that is surrounding me and holding me up when I need it and I am more than grateful for YWA and this community, that gave me the tools of yoga and the breath to help sustain me not just now but each and every day 🙏 💞
My boyfriend usually plays video games while I do my daily yoga practice... today he let the cat out of the bag that he finds it relaxing hearing your voice and my deep breathing while he plays. He came over and sat in extended child's pose at the beginning with me today :) it was a special moment... Thanks Adriene!
My cat does the same thing :..) she usually pretends to be mean and grouchy until like halfway through when she curls up next to me and does a few cat cows with me
I came across Yoga with Adriene about 11 months ago after starting psychotherapy for extreme anxiety, addiction, and complications due to childhood abuse. I didn't know how to take care of myself at all then, mentally or physically. Nor did I have extra money or time to go to the gym. Adriene, I cannot thank you enough for your accessible TH-cam videos and your generous, calming, and peaceful spirit. Doing yoga with you on your channel has been one of the most important and helpful things for me on my journey of recovery. Thank you immensely from the bottom of my heart.

Her calm and cheery attitude always lifts my mood and sets me up for the day. Practicing yoga with Adriene on TH-cam has also helped me with anxiety and stress as well.

At the beginning of the class we are asked to think of all we are grateful for right now. From my long list of all I have to be grateful for, I began by thinking of our lovely teacher. I have been following lovely Adriene for many years through the good times and now these difficult days. She has brought this lovely practice to so many into our homes, she always finds not only the movements which can be accessible to all of us young and old, experienced and beginners, but also the wisdom to make this so much more than just movement. @@williamb7275 personally, I have a 36 ft class A RV and I really enjoy it. I have to clean constantly because it clutter quickly. However, practicing yoga in it hasn't been bad at all though I do have to adapt some practices for my space.

Today's practice being about Gratitude is so fitting since it's our fist actual day of rain and chill after weeks of suffocating heatwaves. I'm grateful for my mat and the healing sound of rain during this practice. I'm also grateful for this body that still carries me and supports me through everything. I heal it and it heals me back. And i'm grateful for Adriene and all of you 💜

I started doing yoga on a daily basis 2 days after losing my dad, starting with the video for suffering. And since that day, I have been feeling the same hug with each of your videos adriene. Really, thank you so much. you were the first thing that came to my mind to be grateful for. I have been finding it hard to find smt to be grateful for, but at the end, I even could have thanked god for ending his suffering by taking him away from us. (everyone may think differently but this is how I feel, so please no judgement.) Thank you for being here and reminding that we are indeed not alone. lots of love 💜💜💜💜

I'm very grateful that I got to have 19 beautiful years with my dear cat friend. We had to let her go today and I'm extremely sad. This practice reminded me that, no today might not have been a nice day, but we've had so many amazing moments together that I should be and am so grateful for. It still hurts like hell though😭 Also grateful for the sphinx pose in this practice as I often called her my little sphinx. It will always remind me of her💛
I had to say goodbye to my precious little void earlier this year and reading your message made me both smile and tear up because I struggled a lot at first with letting the gratitude take over from the pain I was feeling. I'm so glad you got the have so much time with your sphinx and I wish you all the love and strength in your grief. 💜

I've been struggling with my mental health for a while now and gratitude is both one of the hardest things to focus on and one of the most rewarding! This was a beautiful practice. I lit my favourite candle to do it and I am thankful for this time and this channel! :) I also can't stop whispering "I am strong" to myself in every plank that I do... :') What a wonderful habit! No, we thank you a million times Adriene ! This practice had it all for me, a senior yogi. It was I thought luxurious, slow and kind, no rules and totally enjoyable. Perfecting my favourite Sphinx Pose was awesome and having fun in Dolphin too. It was a whole body workout even to those toe taps, but so kindly done, leaving me feeling so gooood. 😊 I’m saving this in my favourites list. Yoga really is transformative. depression takes a hold of my mind quiet a lot atm. I had been so good for a while that I think I wasn't ready to accept it's still there. It takes me some time to get here. But every time I come to my mat, it changes me. Changes my perspective, my movement, my thinking. I am so grateful for tis place and I am grateful for showing up! Nourish day 21, I'm really grateful to be part of this community and have the chance to do yoga with a lot of people! I love this practice because it slows me down and makes me consider for what I have specially each breath I take!❤

Thank you, today has been a rough day. My good friend’s 35 year old son died. My friend is beyond devastated and there’s nothing I can do. I walked my dog and found blood in his stool. I am worried, but there’s nothing I can do. But I’m blessed. My dog is acting like normal. I have a husband who loves me and a great stepdaughter. Despite a little pain from an injury, I am a healthy person. I am so grateful for these things. I am so grateful for this community and our teacher. Hang in there everyone. The ride is bumpy, but it’s going to be ok.
I just wanted to say that when Adriene asked us what we were grateful for, I listed soo many things, that I think I wasn't appreciating enough. Being healthy, having a family (although we argue a lot often), making it into med school, having a wonderful boyfriend... I wasn't aware I had so many things to be thankful for. Even though we all should be thankful for being alive and just being able to breathe. And then my list got shorter. I said 'I AM GRATEFUL FOR BEING ME'. We are all awesome in the way we are people!! Wow that was a brilliant yoga practice! Before the practice I was stressed, my sister and her friend where running around the house and driving me a bit nuts. I entered the mat quite stressed and tense. But I leave the mat happy and restored, and grateful for my family even if sometimes they drive me nuts. And grateful for my life and everything in it, good and bad. Thank you Adriene you are my hero, and I love how you always know what I need. ATTRACT ⚡ | August 17, 2024 | This is a potent practice for sure. I've been struggling finding gratitude and appreciation as I'm grieving the loss of my four legged friend three weeks ago today. The tears are always so darn close, and it seems especially so on the mat. Of course I'm grateful for the 12 years we had together, but I'm just sad right now. 🙏
Started today the november playlist (starting in the middle is part of life), its blue and beautiful outside, Im grateful for the amazing view in my window and this community that always accepted me Namaste
Day 2 of trust!! April was a really hard month for me, but I've been feeling better lately. And after so so long, today I finally acknowledged the fact that I had a good day. Not just 'better than most days' or just a 'meh' day, but an actual GOOD one. so this gratitude practice really resonated with me. Thank you so much ❤️

Attract Day -17 🦋❤️🦋 l August 17, 2024 l Today's session was substituted for "Healing Yoga Power Break" which was right on time as a break from grading countless assignments for my collegiate students. Ah, it is relaxing and refreshing. Now, I'm ready to return to grading for a bit until I call it quits for the night and enjoy some of my Saturday. I really don't like all of the grading. I asked for a teacher's assistant and I was told they are not qualified to grade. I'm trying to embrace the grading, yet it consumes too much of my time and I have a life outside of this university. Best wishes, everyone! 🦋❤️🦋

Attract Day 17 I was not looking forward to doing a 35 minute practice today but I’m glad I did it. It was calming and relaxing exactly what I needed. Plus I did light a candle before I started this practice which scared me a little. My intuition is getting there. Thank you Adriene for reminding myself be grateful to myself. Namaste 🙏🏽
I am Grateful for so many things. I feel lighter after this practice than I did b4 starting. I am so very grateful for Adriene and her gift she shares with the world. I haven't been back to yoga long (I practiced while in college back in the '70's) but this is my 153 straight day since 1/1/23. I lost count of how many times you suggested to "close your eyes" during the video. I chuckle now because I find myself performing the entire practice with my eyes close (except for the balancing poses, I like to see where I am falling...). Thank you for the energy and fun.
This video inspired me so much I decided to practice my forearm stand, and I am grateful to say I was able to hold a little inversion ball of sorts for a few breaths (shakily still counts). It made me remember/realize how much yoga mirrors life. When life turns upside down, how will I react? How do I speak to myself when in uncomfortable situations, and how is that helping or hurting me? Funny how when that hit, I was able to hold it with a bit more ease. Even got some drips of sweat on the mat! Thank you to Adriene, this community, and yoga! See y’all tomorrow, namaste 🙏🏼 ❤

Yoga really is transformative.
depression takes a hold of my mind quiet a lot atm. I had been so good for a while that I think I wasn't ready to accept it's still there.
It takes me some time to get here. But every time I come to my mat, it changes me. Changes my perspective, my movement, my thinking.
I am so grateful for tis place and I am grateful for showing up!

Thank you, today has been a rough day. My good friend’s 35 year old son died. My friend is beyond devastated and there’s nothing I can do. I walked my dog and found blood in his stool. I am worried, but there’s nothing I can do. But I’m blessed. My dog is acting like normal. I have a husband who loves me and a great stepdaughter. Despite a little pain from an injury, I am a healthy person. I am so grateful for these things. I am so grateful for this community and our teacher. Hang in there everyone. The ride is bumpy, but it’s going to be ok.

I just wanted to say that when Adriene asked us what we were grateful for, I listed soo many things, that I think I wasn't appreciating enough. Being healthy, having a family (although we argue a lot often), making it into med school, having a wonderful boyfriend... I wasn't aware I had so many things to be thankful for. Even though we all should be thankful for being alive and just being able to breathe. And then my list got shorter. I said 'I AM GRATEFUL FOR BEING ME'. We are all awesome in the way we are people!! Sending lots of love and hope and light to everyone that needs it! Namaste! 🙏💕
LOVE 💗 | June 28, 2023 | This is such a yummy practice! Thank you to the Yoga with Adriene team for all the hard work putting these free calendars together, saving us from decision fatigue as we get to just show up on the mat. Today I'm grateful for the beautiful sunshine and blue sky as I'm practicing outside today. I'm grateful for the amazing flowers in all the colours that surround me, and of course I'm always thankful for the breath! 🙏

Wow that was a brilliant yoga practice! Before the practice I was stressed, my sister and her friend where running around the house and driving me a bit nuts. I entered the mat quite stressed and tense. But I leave the mat happy and restored, and grateful for my family even if sometimes they drive me nuts. And grateful for my life and everything in it, good and bad. Thank you Adriene you are my hero, and I love how you always know what I need. ATTRACT ⚡ | August 17, 2024 | This is a potent practice for sure. I've been struggling finding gratitude and appreciation as I'm grieving the loss of my four legged friend three weeks ago today. The tears are always so darn close, and it seems especially so on the mat. Of course I'm grateful for the 12 years we had together, but I'm just sad right now. 🙏

Day 2 of trust!! April was a really hard month for me, but I've been feeling better lately. And after so so long, today I finally acknowledged the fact that I had a good day. Attract Day -17 🦋❤️🦋 l August 17, 2024 l Today's session was substituted for "Healing Yoga Power Break" which was right on time as a break from grading countless assignments for my collegiate students. Ah, it is relaxing and refreshing. Now, I'm ready to return to grading for a bit until I call it quits for the night and enjoy some of my Saturday. I really don't like all of the grading. I asked for a teacher's assistant and I was told they are not qualified to grade. I'm trying to embrace the grading, yet it consumes too much of my time and I have a life outside of this university. Best wishes, everyone! 🦋❤️🦋

Attract Day 17 I was not looking forward to doing a 35 minute practice today but I’m glad I did it. It was calming and relaxing exactly what I needed. Plus I did light a candle before I started this practice which scared me a little. My intuition is getting there. Thank you Adriene for reminding myself be grateful to myself. Namaste 🙏🏽

I am Grateful for so many things. I feel lighter after this practice than I did b4 starting. I am so very grateful for Adriene and her gift she shares with the world. I haven't been back to yoga long (I practiced while in college back in the '70's) but this is my 153 straight day since 1/1/23. I lost count of how many times you suggested to "close your eyes" during the video. I chuckle now because I find myself performing the entire practice with my eyes close (except for the balancing poses, I like to see where I am falling...). Thank you for the energy and fun.

This video inspired me so much I decided to practice my forearm stand, and I am grateful to say I was able to hold a little inversion ball of sorts for a few breaths (shakily still counts). It made me remember/realize how much yoga mirrors life. When life turns upside down, how will I react? How do I speak to myself when in uncomfortable situations, and how is that helping or hurting me? Funny how when that hit, I was able to hold it with a bit more ease. Even got some drips of sweat on the mat!
