This is one of those runs where I'm looking at the category and the time and going "no way." This was really good.

Lovely run! As much as I love Any%, I always prefer categories like this one that explore more of the game.
At 36:48 the text "Xenoblade Chronicals 2" is shown in BOTW style onscreen for like a full 4 seconds and nobody acknowledged it in the stream or in the comments of the video?
they are side quests for armor from the game, they were included in an update
Anyone who's played any of the game beyond the Great Plateau after a certain date in 2017 has seen that text. It was a promotional thing, XC2 came out not long after BotW so they added Rex's outfit to the game as a special side quest separate from the paid DLC.
I wonder if Elden Ring runs will one day look like this

What the hell, this game has VR? How does that work? I feel like I missed out.
It's probably a Nintendo Labo thing. I'm sure the controls don't support any special kind of motion control thingies like a proper VR setup, you're still gonna be using controller buttons for most things like you were before. Maybe you can control the camera by tilting the Switch, but other than that you'd just be playing normally with more perspective.

it's because of that one specific cutscene, where Zelda tells Links that you freed all spirits of the champions, which ends up being 2 seconds faster compared to any other language. In any% you don't see this cutscene, which makes French the fastest language.
1:37:24 The cutscene where Zelda praises Link for freeing the divine beasts is short enough in Italian that it catches up to all the other languages.
you can skip most of the dialogue in this game, but there are some lines of voiced dialogue that are unskippable (usually when zelda is speaking to you). her dialogue right after you defeat the fourth divine beast is significantly faster in italian than any other language, making it optimal for this category. as they explain at the beginning, some runs are faster in other languages because the unskippable dialogue in the early game is faster (any% uses french or german the most, i've noticed)
