- parts you will need are door panels, switches, door harnesses,regulators,and door latches. all parts must be from a 1999 to 2001. later years wont work without a bcm. only non factory parts is the keyless entry and relays.

I have watched your video several times, and read through your comments. I’ve viewed you links into the parts, and would appreciate if you could clear a few things up for me. On some of your parts links, they cross reference through 2006. What exactly is different in the later trucks. Just the harness? or is it the switches themselves that has to be an earlier year? Thanks for any advise, I have an 05 and just purchased 4 doors off the same year. I’m hoping to still be able to do this swap with the majority of what I just bought.
Harness, switches and door panels must be from earlier years. The regulator and door lock actuators are probably the same. 02 and up use the bcm to control the doors and they require programing which I heard is a mission.

2002 should fall into the same category to. I'm do this swap also on my'02 ext.cab. I actually ran into the same issue with the passenger door power wire. Glad i found your video. coincidentally I'm doing it the exact same way also. I am using 2002 Tahoe denali switch's with the wood grain bezel. I grabbed the dash bezel also. looks pretty slick. Any other tips??
2002 might be a half year. As long as you grab the right ones you should be good.

Is that 06-07 lbz? If so I have the exact same truck mines a 06 Duramax regular cab 4x4 white manual everything. I got some clean 02 door panels and switches. I’m gonna start doing the power window conversion once I gather all the parts I need

So if my trucks a 2000 I can take doors off of a power window and lock 2000 and swap them without having to do all of the wiring ?
You need to do all the wiring
Good stuff. I have an 06 work truck and bought some doors off a 2000. I labelled each wire by toning it but my problem is finding out whats what on my truck. Where did you get the diagram? Can you take some close ups?
You need to feed the doors power and ground and make a cross harness to the other door

You don't want a bcm. Programing is a nightmare. That's why you want pre 02 stuff

You have to wire everything. You need to find parts from a 99to 02. 03 and up won't work as they require a bcm

Mirrors are manual. Making a harness for the mirrors is alittle more involved

I have about 500 to 600 in it. The door panels and interior being most of it. I think I paid 300 or 400 for the full grey interior. Bought everything else new on Amazon.

@@BuiltByMike I figured it out with the wiring diagram. My ground terminal G driver side needed a better ground. I was testing using 2 dewalt batteries lol
Does the aftermarket alarm work like a normal alarm? Can i do the swap and then have somebody install an alarm system? Or will the wiring be diffrent since it didnt come from the factory with power locks?
Wiring has to go through the keyless module. Heck out my other video of my red truck. I explain the wiring better.

If your truck is manual yes. You need the older stuff. 03 and up can't work without the bcm.

Doors are the same you need door harnesses from a pre 02 truck and I have included links for the window motors and soor locks. Then you'll need to wire in a keyless door lock and wire the windows

Just power. Relays are in the switches

You need to look up the wiring from your donor as they can be slightly different

Nope. After 02 everything runs through the bcm and its a pain

I got wiring harnesses and door panels and switches from 02 Silverado, now to find my wiring diagrams I tried all data, any place you recommend I can find how to wire it up I have a 99 Silverado single cab

@@alekctb I use all data diy or something like that. It's like 20 for a year. Get the wiring diagram for both and then find out what you need to add.
used the same 12v power supply off the distribution block under the driver side and it burnt up, any other recommendations

You have to understand how to read a wiring diagram. Then just a matter of running power and ground and running the wires from the drivers to the passenger side

All you need to use is all the manual window regulator and just abandon the wires

No. You can't use post 02 parts

It's much harder to make work with the bcms and door modules. That's why you use the older trucks
You just need bcm the orange one ext cab....
