Nice build I do see the door panels are the same the only thing is you would have the hole from the crank which could be patched and just buy switches and all your wiring I had this idea but didn’t know they had this style door panel and was just trying to find a easier way of swapping over
Nice build!!! I bought a OBS brand new back in 1992 without power windows, door locks and cruz control. I didn't want pay a extra 2 grand for it. For $400 the wrecking yard sold me everything I needed hardware and all. But had to pull the parts myself. The truck looked like it was driven into a funnel at 100mph. I had to take driver side door panel to dry cleaners to get the stains out of it. I took the x-over harness out through the driver side speaker hole. I couldn't get the harness plugs past the brake pedal mount to get out thru the glove box. I cut the cab hole for the harness and boot without removing the doors using a angle grinder. It was a process!!! But my time wasn't worth much back then.
Im in GA. Plenty of junkyards, wish I found your vid i could've got you a harness. I plan to do the same thing but grabbed a harness from the junkyard. Crazy part was the dash was already off 🙌🏾 but nice obs!
Any idea where you can get a hand on these rubber grommets/ducts? I live in Europe and these trucks were never dealersold in my country, finding these on junkyards over here is virtually impossible. Cable harness is something I can fabricate myself, only having a hard time to find the connector that fits the window switch. Any help on that would be very much appreciated!
Honestly you have to make the holes anyways. You can get them from any car and just make your holes accordingly. The window switch connector are why you need the door harness
I’m doing a similar conversion from Manuel to power is there a part number for the power switch connector that holds the 5 pin switch connector for the switch?

They sell little plugs to cover the hole.
The inside is beautiful mannn!!
Thank you. Going to be doing a ne video soon of the completed truck

Thank you
Is this the same process you used on the white single cab?
Yes. They both are simple circuits.
@ thank you hopefully I can find the diagram pictures in google for the locks I have the power windows done.
One thing you could do to help the windows roll up and down faster is running it to a relay
I might try that
