Radiohead's sound changes a lot from album to album try something from the basement like Nude, Reckoner or Weird Fishes/Arpeggi for a very different vibe.
Radiohead were never a Brit Pop band, they started as grunge heavily influenced by American bands most notably the Pixies. They moved away from that sound on Ok Computer and beyond. Thom Yorke is not a big fan of the bands first two albums because he sees them as rock records, a genre he no longer enjoys. Thom and Jonny are now performing as a three piece called the Smile which is worth checking out.
