      I expect a positive review on your channel will increase interest and sales. However I’m not sure how many have these new rifles. I think a lot of FX owners have for example, the Mk2 and then got the Mk3 - but had to keep the Mk2 as well because there is no 2nd hand value in it. So if they were to get one of these latest models - then they would end up with 3 rifles 😊 But anyone with this latest model will for sure be tempted to fit the probe at least, based on your findings! Have a great weekend in the snow

      @auntysocialist The dynamic block is the same in all 3 guns - Dynamic, Panthera and King, so the pin probe will fit yours. Im not aware of other performance enhancing parts so far.
      For the 2 screws at the end of the plenum I have not heard about not tightening down, but I saw somewhere that new guns comes without these screws (?)
      I would not leave them untightened, but I dont make them extremely tight anyway 🙂

      @@VikingAirgunnerMaybe the 8mm hammerweight (not the tungsten) I got some great results combined with the Huma Port and pinprobe. 30cal 60gr slug easily to 1000 fps. Reg on 150bar and macrowheel on 16. Micro on 3.5.

    I brought the Huma pin probe about 3 months ago for my .30 & haven't bothered to install it. But watching your video today, I'm going to instal it this weekend.

    Damn that is a long gun. FX is a great company that always finds a way to get back into your wallet after the initial purchase for some kind of upgrade and frequently I might add. Freddy is no dummy that's for sure. One thing I love about my LCS SK-19...I haven't had to add anything after the initial purchase. It came perfect and needed nothing which for the money IMO it shouldn't. FX has a amazing marketing strategy.

    • @VikingAirgunner
      @VikingAirgunner  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I dont want to sound defensive of FX, but I still havent had a gun of theirs that absolutely needed upgrades. All can be shot perfectly fine the way they are. Upgrades are nice yes, but not 100% nessecary.
      Buying a car is the same thing - no matter the brand.
      I dont mind this, since I can build the gun to my liking.
      And in this video it is not FX making money from the upgrade - its Huma 😉

    Great video. Just ordered the kit from Huma. Not sure what I will do with it yet but I think I'm going to build a 700mm slug monster and chuck 40 grainers at like 1020.

      So funny - I was actually considering the 700 mm barrel kit for mine last week 😃
      A buddy of mine, Jamie from the UK did the Huma upgrade on his 25 cal with good results. Started with a slightly heavier hammer before installing the Huma reg, and aparently it had a positive effect on consistancy.
      I love my Panthera after installing the Huma reg, but the 700 mm and 20 gr slugs would be a good match for the gun/plenum. It would be interesting to test that setup for the max power 😃😎 My 700 mm M3 could push 20 gr at 1060 fps. I would not be surprised to see the Panthera go past 1100 😎

  • @pirazyoko5127
    @pirazyoko5127 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You can also change pin probe from back side of the block. Maby its not faster but if somebody dont want to deal with barrel removal its the way to do it

    • @VikingAirgunner
      @VikingAirgunner  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My guess is that there is some Loctite left in the hole where the probe is attached - or the rotation is off. So either a cleaning of the hole ora 90 degree turn will solve the problem :-)

    • @VikingAirgunner
      @VikingAirgunner  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With the 600 mm liner that I have currently installed I would not consider shooting anything heavier than a 16 gr slug. For a slug heavier than that it would require a longer barrel. It is possible to shoot a heavier slug in the 600 mm liner, yes but it is not made for it. In the 700 mm liner it would be great. I have seen it - even tuned a Panthera myself with a 20 gr slug - and it worked very well. The Panthera has a huge advantage in terms of supreme power bcs of the 156 cc plenum.
      You dont need a heavier hammer for the 20 gr. You can get a slightly heavier hammer which is supposed to make it more stabile, but the tungsten hammer is not nessecary for 177 - like not at all! I actually think that it is too heavy, so you can adjust the hammer down enough 🤔

      I put the pin probe on my FX King .25 and the velocity increased to about 35-40 fps. I used ZAN 37 grains. I am satisfied with the result. I had problems with the installation. I had to thin the mountingpin about 0.1 mm. Is there any difference between King's and Pantera's parts? This pinprobe was intended for Pantera. I would like to ask you an important question. when you have installed the valve for the front bottle, you can have air in the back bottle and remove the front bottle from the air gun. in this case the airgun will lose air from the front valve of the saber tactical or is the valve tight??
