- He might have been left at the start, but Baaeed flies home to make a winning debut at Leicester. Trained by William Haggas and ridden by Dane O'Neill, the son of Sea The Stars could be anything and must be a name to keep an eye on for the future. He is a full-brother to the smart Hukum.

That final furlong really was special, when it clicked it was so damn impressive. Now I’m here after his latest win at Goodwood, what a horse! No comparisons to Frankel but he really gives me that vibe. SUPERSTAR!
StS was my favourite horse. Nothing would've beat him. He was the ultimate boss - pulled like crazy in the Arc to the point where you're thinking he's blown it but then he settled and when sent on by Mick Kinane he destroyed the field and once he hit the front did his usual ease-down because he always knew that no horse that he passed would go past him. Definite shades of his sire in Baeed.
I agree with your favorite horse wonderful racing machine never forget the arc that he had no right to win everything was wrong about the whole race then the business end come outstanding.
soon as they hit that furlong pole his attitude changes you can see it in his face....absolute machine such a pleasure to watch i got goosebumps when he powered clear last week, beautiful animal
The winner looked like he was at least two grades above the rest by the way he moved through them , the turn of foot was very impressive 👍🏇.
Yup. But, he obviously won't get away with those slow starts against better company.

Well he hasn't stopped improving , impressive at HQ today.
Next time I see a debut winner overcame a bad start and finishes off a good race like that inside the final furlong I'm backing him next time!! Those are a few hallmarks of a talented horse 🐎 👏

Green as grass from the start bless him didn't know what was being asked of him clueless then the penny drops and swoosh,
he would have got home a different horse after that. Keep and eye out he would have come on an absolute ton for that race he really shouldn't have won, great horsemanship from the jockey.
Just won by 7 1/2 lengths second time out and was mightily impressive.
The winner was hardly 'left at the start' that normally implies losing many lengths. He probably lost a couple of lengths but nevertheless that was a truly amazing performance to come from the rear to win as he did and win comfortably at that.
He lost about a length and a half, hardly drastic and they didn't really go a great gallop, he just ran a little green in snatches.
A couple of maiden winners have come out of that race, and a couple of second placed horses.
@@billybhoy32 Baaeed has since won a novice quite impressively, but it was on soft ground which is always a little bit suspicious form wise.
@@nightowl7459 I understand what you are saying but, it was a reasonable time for good to soft going and had good RPR for the race which it won by 7+ lengths. It is due to run in a Listed race on Thursday. We can discuss further then :-)
@@billybhoy32 That correct, it's better to judge a horse when it steps up to better opposition, but it's always good to keep it in perspective, so far so good.
Love the comments here. Just won Queen Elizabeth 11 group one. No better horse in training and improving. Two group ones now.
He did a lot wrong there bit still won, don't know much about what he beat but he looks smart
Noticeable that he was pulling on one leg to the the speed up ten changed legs at 1m 34 and Boom. Alway s good sign of a good horse that can find another gear.
He was running about in the early stages. Swooped on them in the last 200m like Triptych. What a turn of foot.
He is Group 3 at least.

didn't really get left only 2 lengths maybe looked a bit green to start but wow finished like a champion .one for the future
He is the next big thing, will be odds on for the next few races so wont make a lot on him until he goes into G1 level, then we will know how good he is. could be a proper monster😎

Shadwell got some classy horses, al aasy, Mohaafeth, Baatash are some and that tregoning horse who did well over a mile before retiring due to injury last year

Third horse was quite impressive too
They went to fast upfront and it set the race up for something to come from off the pace. Of course being by Sea the Stars & staying the name of the game. He won cosily.

Gutted I had the second at 9/1 thought I had it won then seen something sprout Pegasus wings on the outside
I had the same horse...and had a bet on a greyhound backed in from 7/1 into 11/4 was a mile clear at the last bend and the hare stopped and race was void

Having been unhappily pocketed on the rails for the race’s opening furlongs, - watch the rider - once In the straight, the grey, Night Hunter, looked both in two minds and unbalanced? He’ll want some spoiling back at home.

Even with a shit ride didn’t hardly give the horse a chance luckily the class from the horse shone through
hardly a shit ride, the horse didnt want to know for most of the race
That was a good ride. Didn't panic when missed the kick. Horse kept up to his job despite taking a look at everything else but the job at hand!

Unfortunately didn't manage to have a perfect ending for his racing career.

Yeah I'll grant you you've had a few really decent horses with the likes of Galileo, Sea The Stars and Shergar, but horse racing in Australia is a lot more of an even playing field.
