Dude holy crap, when u said go offline and clicked that, when your vid got over it was at 14% hold crap, and I had 3 people on my WiFi and my WiFi where I live is Bad, but the game is 36.32 GB and the making of this comment it almost went up by 10%

I found this out several years ago with Destiny 1 for Xbox 360. Servers were slammed on midnight release and the installation kept failing completely. I turned my network off and told it to install and boom downloaded in 30 minutes. Good to know it still works, going to make me not regret getting physical LE games in the future on release night.

It look me 3 hours to install 28 percent of bad company 2, so, I looked up this video. I followed every step which means I had to restart the entire download. Turns out it wouldn't let me download it if I wasn't connected to the internet. So I had to restart the entire long download. Thanks a lot

This actually helped me a lot like you said no matter what this should work like my Xbox one s gears of war 4 edition yes it’s very old I just had to fix it myself from green screen of death and since then a lot of downloading issues but I’m surprised this actually works thank you man:D
this method works so much faster. bought gears of war 4. spent 2 hrs was only 28%. i cancelled installation and went offline and used just the disk. got to 30% in 6 min. of course the update was 30gb that i had to download from offline. but great tip man

you can put your xbox on fast boot or something like that and disable "turn off storage" or something . than download the game and turn off your console!
