For all those negative comments, there was no love jihad in early 80's and may be that is the reason she seems to be still happy. At that time anyone who marries to a man of different caste/community would follow husband's caste/community and women used to happily do that for their families. Unlike today film field was not very accepted carier back in 80's most females who married men outside the film industry left their career and industry which was quite common. Today both men/women are more materialistic, marriages do have lots of ego's involved in it. Hence survival of such marriages are difficult. She seems to be happy for the decision she has taken. God bless her life. At least it's nice to see few senior actress who are happy and content in their life unlike the major one's who are cribbing and crying. I am from Mulki, it's a same place a temple was build by a Muslim merchant, I had many Muslim neighbours, I never heard any Love jihad then. I had seen few successful inter religious marriage then which is quite successful. That may be due to women having lots of patience and putting lots of sacrifice in raising a family. It's not about whom you marry, which religion you follow, if you are not happy in your life it's a tragedy else life is a paradise. Love, compassion, patience, sacrifice is key to a happy life. Unfortunately we are more divided by religion. It's doesn't matter if it's Jayalakshmi or Jameela until you are happy and proud about the life you have choosen and the partner you have who has made this life a beautiful journey worth sharing 💖🥰. If she did not find any problem with name change we should not relate it to if her husband likes her/not, she was a heroine of 70/80's look at the heriones of her time, either they choose a married men as their companion and became a 2nd wife or married once/twice and now project themselves as pious and sacred, you can find very few females who have dedicated themselves for their families, she doesn't seem like practicing Islam, she wears bindi just like any hindu married lady, doesn't wear a hijab unlike Muslim women, she seems to be a pretty decent Hindu women in her late 60's living with her son's and grand child. She seems to be quite happy. Religion these days are only for political gains. Till this episode there was no negative comments for her, post the story of her marriage everyone is commenting on her. What do people expect a 65year old female to do about a marriage which is more then 35 years old. It's sad that people comment on her marriage and her life today, while she has not broken a family to get married.
