Aarati is intelligent enough. If she was sincere to Puttanna Kanagal may be she would also have been in tragic actresses list like Kalpana. She didn't join that list. Blaming Arathi is very easy for this asshol e . Puttanna being a married man with 5 children by that point in time wanted sexual pleasure from Kalpana and then Arathi, and being a famous director at the time forces his proposal to Arathi because she was getting very popular and just to keep her under his control. I really appreciate Arathi for teaching him a proper lesson at the end.

It reminds me of Masanada Hoovu, Hatts off to the dedication of Ambarish Sir towards his Guru, no one would have agreed to do that role when they were in peak of their career. What a performance by Ambarish Sir. Amazing. Puttanna Kanagal introduced Vishnu sir as a hero and Ambarish Sir was a very small role in the movie Nagara Haavi, but his respect for his Guru is unmatchable that he took up small and mediocre roles in Ranganayaki and Masanada Hoovu.
