Im actually glad that the ANC AirPods don’t have rubber tips as I’m sure there are many people like me that can’t use them or find them uncomfortable! I’ve been wanting for this version since the AirPods Pro 2 came out!
same, bought the pro 2 but only come in 4 sizes ear tips and didn’t fit, kept falling out especially when I run and wasn’t the on comfortability for me because it kept falling out so I kept hitting my ear the AirPods in on both sides of ear

I was at a concert last night and put in my Apple AirPod Pro 2's and according to my Apple Watch Ultra 2, it reduced the sound by 20 decibels. I took them and noticed a huge difference in loudness. I wear hearing aids and I took them out to put the AirPods in and they really helped reduce the loudness of the concert without compromising the quality of the sound. I will use my AirPods again for a concert but will be able to use them as a secondary set of hearing aids once that feature becomes available.
The AirPods 4 are definitely not disappointing me. For a 50$ cheaper AirPods 4 with ANC. It’s really good for the price and especially the cheaper AirPods 4 if you’re on a budget. I hope to see the AirPods Lite for 99$. I already preordered my AirPods with ANC.
I don't know why people were thinking they were going to switch to a sealed design. If you put silicone tips on the Airpods 4 it would be 99% the same as the Airpods Pro. The sole reason they exist is that they are open.

If you hav small earholes like me the new design of airpods will often fall off or hurt ur ears after some time of use, when i tried the pro the xs size i never had these issues

There’s a lot of shooting earbuds that have that hearing protection but the sound quality usually isn’t nearly as good so if this decrease by enough decibels I’ll probably buy
No one wants ear tips on base model. That’s what pros are for. Which doesn’t fit my ears even with the smallest tip. I still use second gen cause they don’t fall out.

I'm not sure if you're trolling or you legitimately don't realize it but regardless you're talking about TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS!! There are the AirPods 1, 2, 3, and now 4. Then you have AirPods Pro's 1 and 2. The ONLY ones that have rubber tips are the APP's (AirPod Pro's 1 & 2). The other "regular" AirPods NEVER HAD TIPS at any point and the first 3 generations had longer stems then the Pro models which had much shorter stems. Hopefully this helps clarify the differences for you. I personally have NEVER owned any of the regular AirPods because I can't stand ones that just "rest" on my ears because it FACTUALLY/VERIFIABLY will NEVER sound as good NOR WILL THE ANC WORK AS WELL in both cases it's because of the lack of a physical seal which is created by the rubber tips on the Pro Models. Plus the as someone who owns TWO pairs so I can keep swapping them out after the batteries are drained I ALWAYS want the ones with the best battery life which is also always the pro version (or I should say ALMOST ALWAYS)
Supremely disappointing that SoundGuys didn’t read the fine print. Hearing Protection’s fine print EXPLICITLY states that it will not help with things like jackhammers. Also, AirPods have already allowed sound profiles in Accessibility settings, Hearing Aid mode is something new and different. Keep up, guys. I could figure this out more than 7000 ft underground and you couldn’t figure it out less than 7000 ft from the venue? 😂

I also hate ear tips. I am hearing impaired and they don’t seal in that ear. I am also hoping the AirPods 4 will be better for my ears.

Just newer colors and USB C for the airpods max is disappointing IMO.
