Glad to hear that!💪 Been struggling a lot to find the perfect choice, so I thought it would have been beneficial for the community sharing some research!
Great video, Lauro! I was also in doubt about which computer to get when I started architecture school, and I ended up getting a Windows laptop. I use programs that don’t run well on macOS (especially Revit), so getting a MacBook would mean jumping through hoops to make everything work properly. But, man, my laptop is hideous! I don’t like the look of gaming laptops at all, it’s one of the compromises I had to make.
Hi Lauro, what a great video, not just visually but so well written. :)) as usual. I really appreciate your balanced and neutral point of view. And your recommendations couldn't come at a more perfect time, as I've been contemplating on whether to invest in a new Apple laptop or to switch back to Windows. I'm making the switch from marketing to surface design so the points you've brought up are very much relevant to my decision-making process. Thanks so much! Hope you're doing well and you're enjoying your studies!
2:25 this isn't the case anymore because of phonelink being built into android (at least on Samsung phones) so all one has to do is just be on the same network as their laptop, be signed in to the same windows account and Bob's your uncle you can share image files wirelessly if you want to share more specific files then download quick share on windows and you can now share more files between devices
However, your recommendation is very good! Personally, I use a MacBook for most architectural tasks such as AutoCad, Archicad, Sketchup, Blender and PS, while I render the final render on a PC with rtx. Regards !
Hey Lauro , very good video ! I was wondering if I can help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and make Highly Engaging Thumbnails which will help your videos to get more views and engagement . Please let me know what do you think ?
Hey there, thanks for the offer, but my “imperfect” editing style and Thumbnails represent who I am and they will build my brand in the long run, so I am not interested in make them more commercial/appealing.
Actually you don't must to install another app on your phone to transfer pics or data to laptop you van do that with bluetooth (only if your laptop have bluetooth)
You sure about that? I have never seen in my iPhone the option “send via bluetooth” neither for photos nor files!🤔 probably I missed it, can you confirm it exists? Second, Bluetooth transfer is much slower compared to Airdrop WiFi transfer. What I mean by that is to transfer 2GB file with AirDrop is 1min thing, with Bluetooth 30+min (if the transfer does not fail)
Don’t forget to use my code 'C730' to get a $30 discount when purchasing the C7(or C7Max). bit.ly/4dXZJYf
Thanks for sharing, Lauro!
Cheers from Brazil!
Always a pleasure!!!🙏🙏🙏
Congratulations Lauro! Great video. It's verry interesting to watch. Great sound and voice over. Keep going!
Thank you so much!🙏🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!💪

Sometimes we need to make hard choices even if it means betraying our beloved MacBook Pro! ♥️

That’s a great news, thanks for sharing!🙏
It will definitely be useful when I will a Windows Laptop 💪
Vray is available natively for macos. I use it myself, it's good, the only thing missing is GPU rendering support.
You are absolutely correct, it’s available but not being able to rely on GPU is a huge downside which drastically effect performances!!🤯

My goal was to share all I learned down the road making a bunch of mistakes so you don’t have to!🙏

@@lauro.dominici I'm using this method, when I need to transfer photos in school and you are right it's much slower than Airdrop
