Thanks for making this! One thing I didn't see was the removal of the timing chain from the head.
So what steps did you take before putting the new head gasket on? Have the head machined or rebuilt?

Make sure you put the engine at TDC and do the removal..
The head was machined as well as the block both had a wrapage..

Did you have to reset the timing? When going back do you use any sealer on the gasket?

Yes I reset the timing. Resurface the head cuz it was warped as was the block too was resurface for the sealant I used Permatex Indian Head Gasket Shellac Compound
