It was very warm when I was there. It was so hot in the afternoon that I was wearing only a long-sleeved shirt. I'm sure it was just getting cold when you went there. I wish I could have seen the leaves on the 11th. They must have been more vivid🍁🍁
Japan is truly a very beautiful country.. Thank you, Atsuko-san, for all your wonderful videos.. Thank you for your efforts in introducing Japan to us.. I wish Atsuko-san a very long and healthy life always ❤
Good morning, Meloday-san Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos! I truly appreciate your kind words. I'm so happy that you enjoy my content! I'll try to cut down on my chocolate intake to ensure a longer and healthier life. 😁Thank you for your warm wishes!😘Itsumo Arigatou
Hello. As always, a great and interesting video. Special thanks for the wonderful scenery. To be honest, I had the impression that this video was shot in Canada, very similar landscapes. 😄Thanks for the great work. Looking forward to the new video.😉
Ohayougozaimasu🥰Aston-san, thank you for always watching my videos. I finally took the time and bring you some autumn foliage scenery. 🍁 Indeed, Kamikochi looks like Canadian mountains. Nature is beautiful all around, isn't it? It is suddenly getting cold in Japan, 😳Aston-san, please take care of yourself and try not to catch a cold! Have a wonderful week!🥰❤️
Oh, Atsuko san! That was AMAZING! It brought such joy to me, reminding me of my growing up in the Adirondack Mountains of New York (although Japan's mountains are more 'jagged' in appearance). The colors, all the water with the rivers, lakes, and ponds, the wild life (we don't have any monkeys, but we do have bears, deer, ducks...), and the hiking trails all have me reminiscing of happy days gone by! And I couldn't help but think, when I saw 'Kappa bridge', that it was a good thing you didn't see Kappa san there! Thank you so much for posting this! This is easily one of my favorites of all the videos you have posted!
Konnichiwa, Douglas-san😊I am glad my video could bring back some good memories for you. I took a peek at the images of the Adirondack Mountains, and they are truly stunning!❤ Indeed, it's fascinating how the mountains differ in appearance between Japan and the Adirondacks. I count myself fortunate not to have encountered Kappa-san! If I had, I might have turned into a fish in the Azusa River by now!🤣 The upcoming video also explores mountains, so I hope you'll find it enjoyable when you have a moment to watch! Have a great start to the week!😉

Ohayougozaimasu Раша-san! Thank you for watching my video and for your kind words!! I would like to walk in the mountains of your country someday. I bet they are beautiful! And also rivers with lots of sharp curves🐈🐱🐈⬛
Atsuko San, your videos are truly amazing!!’ Music and images can offer an immersive experience, showing all the enchants of a different Japan for foreigners. Thank you!

@@GetToKnowJapanTogether Cool! Me and my wife will be travelling to Japan on October, starting from Hokkaido and finishing around Tokyo. We will be here, watching you videos and hopefully we see another spot we can include in our itinerary. Kamikochi will be one of them certainly!
@@MrMTKD Wow, it sounds like it's going to be a wonderful trip! Please put me in your suitcase and take me along on your trip with you! 🤣If you have plans to head east in Hokkaido, Notsuke Peninsula (野付半島) is also fantastic. It's a recommended spot for those who love nature, with geologically unique terrain. When I visited, I saw deer crossing the sea. If you're interested, please do consider it. Have a great trip!🌸🗻
I didn't know there are such places in Japan, the clear turquoise water is so beautiful! The video is so well made, the colors were bright and images were crisp. I wonder what camera you were using? Also Kappa san! I saw him so many times in those Japanese videos games Ive been playing. 😊
Konbanwa🥰 Vivienne-san! Thank you again for your comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the video about Kamikochi. It's indeed a beautiful and lesser-known gem in Japan. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend visiting! As for the camera, I used an iPhone 13 Pro Max and a GoPro Hero 12 for the footage. I appreciate your kind words about the video quality! And It's interesting that you've encountered Kappa-san in video games. In Kamikochi, there's a connection to Kappa-san as he is said to have lived near the Kappa-bashi bridge, leading to the bridge being named after him.😉Thanks again for watching! 😊

The enchanting colors of autumn paint a picturesque landscape, making this video a visual delight and a peaceful retreat for the soul. The breaking of dawn at 1:50 captures a perfect moment. I had goosebumps!!🍂✨ Kamikochi is beautiful beyond words!! Thank you for this!!
Ohayougozaimasu Anthony-san Thanks again for your comments and support. I'm really glad that your advice helped me to find the right music! The dawn in Kamikochi was very beautiful (although it was very cold)!
After watching your Mt. Fuji gems vid, I decided to virtually transport myself to more mountains and forests in the Northern Japan Alps. Kamikochi is indeed a special place. Was that a grilled iwana (Japanese char) for your meal? リック
リックさん、日本はもうすぐお昼ご飯の時間です😁😁Thanks for watching several of my videos today! Yes, my lunch was Iwana set meal, and it was very delicious. I would love to eat it again. Kamikochi was incredibly beautiful. Now I'm eager to visit Kamikochi in the summer! お腹の空いたあつこより😉😉
こんばんは 敦子さん。 You did this trip 😍😍😍. I envy you so much 😭. This place is fantastic ! The view from かっぱばし is 素晴らしい i'm wondering how it is during the winter. When are you doing the bath in the Azusa river ? 🥶😂 I have a little idea where you next video is going to be 😏
おはようございますBonjour, Eodis-sanThank you so much for your kind comment! I'm delighted that you enjoyed our trip to Kamikochi. I can imagine the winter scenery must be breathtaking, although undoubtedly very cold! 🥶Perhaps I'll plan to take a dip in the Azusa River during the summer; if I attempted it in winter, I'd surely turn into a snowman (or a snowwoman)🤣 And I think my next video will be just as you expected! It's a place where you can enjoy traditional Japanese scenery! Merci encore de regarder mes vidéos. Je vous souhaite un bon début de semaine.😉
Hi Atsuko-san, thank you so much for this amazing video. (Sorry you may see same question from me in another video of yours), my time in Japan is so tight so I wanna know the timing for this trip. According to your video, you started from Shinjuku from 10:25pm the night before, arrived at Kamikochi at 5am, spent the whole day there and then came back right at the end of the day, no need to stay overnight in Kamikochi, right? Thank you so much
Thank you so much for watching my videos, Linh Nguyễn-san! Yes, if you take the same bus as I did, you can fully enjoy the nature of Kamikochi without staying overnight there. However, I could hardly sleep on the night bus, so I was quite tired. 😅I have included a link to the bus company's schedule in the video description, so please refer to that! Kamikochi is a popular tourist destination, so I recommend making an early reservation. When will you be coming to Japan, Linh Nguyễn-san? If your schedule is tight and you can't visit both Okutama and Kamikochi, I would recommend Kamikochi if you are coming in the summer! Okutama can be very hot!
@@GetToKnowJapanTogether Once again thank you so much for your thoughtful guidance, Atsuko-san. I just came here in Tokyo yesterday and will manage to go to both Okutama and Kamikochi. By the way I checked the bus fee in the link you embedded here, it's quite costly for 14,000 Yen for one-way 🙃🙃
@@LKnguyen1Woooow!! Welcome to Japan!😊😘🥰 Now is the best season to visit Kamikochi so the price is more expensive compared to the Autumn season's fare😅 But, Kamikochi in the summer is very beautiful with its lush green scenery!
