Hello friends, this video is slightly different to my usual content, but I hope you like it! All the details about where I stayed and places I visited are in the description, but here is a brief list of places shown: Edinburgh (including Greyfriars Kirkyard with Tom Riddle grave for Harry Potter lovers) Glenfinnan Viaduct (again, for Harry Potter lovers) Loch Long (in the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park) Glencoe Butter Bridge
it is so beautiful my freind , I am a person that appreciate the gold that is name ( nature) every small detaile you showed us I absorbed like the sponge. I never been to Ediburng thank you my freind that you braught me , Look forward for your next journey bye xx
I am glad you enjoyed your stay in Arrochar. Seeing Loch Long, Loch Restil, Glen Croe, Glen Kinglass and Rest and Be Thankful through your young fresh eyes, makes me appreciate where I live even more than I already do.
Thank you for such a heartwarming video. I guess the biggest compliment for a storyteller is to say you've made me want to pack and live your experience. ❤💚
Absolutely nice video that touches the inner core of heart. Life need peace and calmness. we are all indulged into the race of domination and grabbing more and more . We are not experiencing the real taste and colors of life. I love Edinburgh and Loch Lomond and i found these places very peaceful and relaxing. I visited these place twice, once during autumn and once during spring. Absolutely adorable, stunning and captive places.
My wife and I dreamed and planned on moving with our horses to Montana to be in a quieter place....we researched for yrs and planned then one day she woke up and told me she wants a divorce.....she met someone else and to sell her horses she didnt want them..and moved away Sometimes dreams will stay dreams....for some of us.
I've never been there yet my soul yearns for it as if it has always been my home. As if I belong there in the melancholic colors and surroundings. One day soonest for sure, I'll be there. At home. 🍁
I left my heart in Scotland a few years ago. It was beautiful in the spring. The highlands were nearly covered with heather, purple thistle and wild flowers. Saw deer there and many birds including nesting hawks. Highland cattle and sheep. Many castles. Enjoyed the pubs and music. Edinburgh was more beautiful than pics I had ever seen. It was bright and sunny. No rain the entire three weeks I was in Scotland . At least in the locations I was in and at that particular time. I could have gotten a sunburn. lol I traveled throughout Scotland including several of her islands. So magical. The cairns and Loch Ness were amazing. The people were so friendly and down to earth. How refreshing.
Aah your experience sounds like bliss! Spring in Scotland must be just wonderful. This country does that to you, doesn’t it.. takes a piece of a visitor’s heart ❤️
Yes, its beautiful in Spring. And in Edinburgh its not rain too much, only a slightly rain, but could be 2 weeks without water. The more representative in the weather of Edinburgh is the wind. But it is all beautiful. I love to live here.
I'm an exile (not political). Living my final years in Argentina with my Latina wife. Although I love living in Cordoba. There's a part of me still in Scotland, it will always be my homeland. ❤❤❤
We lived in St. Andrews several years and Edinburgh for a couple more before heading to the Highlands to settle. Been here 14 years now, living in a cottage on the side of Farragon Hill. Nowhere else in the world is this beautiful, peaceful, idyllic. Very few homes and not particularly developed compared with other places, but in no way am I tempted to leave for something more "sophisticated." The hills, my dog, and me is quite enough for a lifetime.
as a fan and admirer of nature the countryside and the peace it transmits, I like your videos since I touch that feeling of peace in them, I believe that any human being who worships that would ask for peace for the children of Gaza and Palestine in general. and I would feel sorry for those who live off wars killing children and innocents, free Palestine 🇵🇸, God bless you
Your excellent video brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. I was able to visit Scotland back in 1987 when I was 20 years old. I reckon I was the first person in my family to return to Scotland since we left it 300 years ago, and I have never forgotten the beauty of Scotland and even today Alba tugs at my heartstrings. Thank you for sharing your journey!
I've always wanted to visit Scotland; thank you for this chance to experience a little of it through your beautifully cinematic narrative style! Cameras, even as technology, are an artistic medium, like paintbrushes or pens, and your video as canvas is so lovely.
I hope you will get to visit soon! It’s a stunning country! 🖤 Aah I agree with you. Nowadays technology has become an artistic medium and I have to remind myself of that. There is a different between that and a mindless consumption, but somehow it all still goes under one label of “technology”
We’ve had a lot of rain and stormy weather up here in Scotland over the last week, so went out for an adventure in the Southern Highlands to see raging waterfalls with leaping salmon and the lovely yellows and browns of autumn leaves in wooded glens. My heart swells with the beauty of it all. Do come up here to visit, especially the Highlands and Borders, where you’ll be given a warm welcome by most and memories that could last a lifetime.
Wow, just wow 🍂 I am a proud Scot, your filming was beautiful and showed however fleetingly Scotland in all its magical glory, place of my birth and land of my ancestors
Your descriptive language transports you, which means we are seeing not only with our eyes but our ears too! The highlands is beautifully picturesque. Thank you for sharing this snippet of beauty with us Daria, we hope to see it too one day 🙏
As a person with sensory issues, I would like to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for doing such a subtle and subdued video that someone like me can enjoy. Especially when it involves my ancestral land. Best wishes. 💜
Dear Ms. Poetry, I truly appreciate this enchanting journey you have taken. Keep up the good work and wish to see more of this in the future! BR, Mr. Clueless
Thank you for show Edinburgh. I live here and it is always beautiful. I would like to say that too it is a very cultural city and the best time for me is in the Summer with the Fringe, with thousands of people doing theatre and the same time. And too that Edinburgh has a very punky antmosphere, 90s and 80s punky atmosphere, and that you can feel that freedom, a little grunge and decadent, a litle wilde in all. It is a very inclusive city in all the aspects. I love eat in the old town, siting in the street and observe all the local people that are there everyday. You shoud see South Bridge in the night, all vibrant, all young. Ah, and no cold at all. The first week in October 27 degrees.
Scotland is like that, it grabs ahold of your heart and never let’s go. I am so glad that you were able to have your Scotland holiday. I am also grateful that you were able, through another beautiful film, to share the beauty with us.
This vid and that background music bring me back to my schooldays of Wuthering Heights and Heathcliff. Ahhh. How I miss my classic English novels and poetry!
Your narration is beautiful, articulate and transports me to where you are as if I were experiencing it for myself. I enjoy your videos very much, it's relaxing, calming, peaceful. Your photography and videos are skillfully executed. It really depicts poetry in motion. Watching from Cape Town South Africa 👍🇿🇦.
Just got back from a two week stay in Scotland! Visited Glasgow and Edinburgh and also the Scottish Highlands! The beauty and tranquility of Scotland will stay with me forever! The Highlands and the Isles of Skye and Orkney just took my breath away! Scotland I will never forget ye!💙🤍
Beautiful video. I visited Scotland in 2019 for the first time. I, too, left a piece of my heart there. I am dreaming of the day when I am able to see Scotland again.
Your videos are like cut diamonds👌 - the pitch control of the drone camera, costumes/clothing matched up with the background, the choice of the music, elaborated sophisticated texts, close shots of various subjects ... a professional job 👏👍👍
I so love this. Your narration is like poetry and the whole video is an art. I would like to visit Scotland someday because I always find it beautiful.
Thanks for amazing video of my ancestors home. I visited maybe 35 yrs ago in spring. So beautiful. Now housebound and adventure days over. This surprised me this morning. ❤😊from Canadian artist.
Hello. I am Brazilian and I have to say how happy this video made me. This place is more than a dream for me. I have no words to express how much I wish I could have been born and raised in this place! I love the cold, I love the beauty, the colors and the style of Scotland. Unfortunately, I was born in a tropical country where it is very hot all year round. Unfortunately, I hate the heat. So I dream and travel through this video. Whoever has the chance to visit or live in this place, please be grateful and enjoy it for those who cannot be there. Thank you for sharing. ❤
Chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe, My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go 💚🏴 I'm missing Scotland so so much, thank you for sharing!
Iam so agree with you. I love Scotland ❤ Magical landscapes and places that move your soul, and that remain there, always inviting you to return❤ thanks for taking us there
I never really comment on videos on TH-cam, but Daria here I felt I had to. I stumbled upon your channel by chance and saw every single video. You inspired me, made me emotional and reflect. The beauty of things that is in your eyes seems to come through your art. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Something brought me to you, to send me a bigger message: to stop and breathe.❤
Thank you so much for this life-saving video! My travel dreams are so far limited to watching films like this. But this video is so beautifully done, it's like I've been to Scotland myself and felt every moment.
🤩 Daria, this was truly epic!! 😍💕🏞️🏴 Stunning cinematography! The way you captured the spectacular beauty of Scotland, it is breathtaking! The poetry you created with images, music and words… It was magical!✨🙏 Thank you for taking us with you on this wonderful journey! It is a privilege to share your adventures, great and small!! 😃👍👏👏👏🤗😘
Thank you for this beautiful vidio .I enjoyed it so much. Iwas once in Edinburgh about 16 years ago and it is such a beautiful city with a rich history. Greetings 💟🌷🇾🇪
My dear friend Daria ❤ hope you are doing well! I don't know how to put into words the feelings I felt watching this video. You managed to convey all the beauty and calm of these wonderful places through the screen. It's like I've been there with you and it's been wonderful. ❤And then those little mushrooms were wonderful and so tiny🍄❤ I've never visited Scotland, but I'm sure it's going to be one of the places I'll definitely visit! Thank you so much for involving us in your journey ❤
I was also in Scotland last year. I was impressed by the scenery, the countryside, the people, the road from Edinburgh to Fort William through the mountains. An unforgettable memory, I got it from my children for my 70th birthday.
"I left my heart in Scotland". How very true! It happened to me too back in 1996. Unfortunately I haven't been able to go back to this dreamland ever since. But I adore it from afar!!!
So beautiful! Edinburgh is a place of dreams for me. I loved everything about it. Thank you for reawakening my treasured memories of this heart of my folk soul.
I'm feeling so relaxed when I look at your videos,I almost feel the smell of rain and grass and the sound of wind make me feel there.I found your videos at the certain point in my life.Thank you
Excellent video & well said 👏 👏😍🍃🍂🍁 Thank you for sharing us your love, thoughts, & photos about beautiful Scotland. Really I left my heart in Scotland too. Have a pretty weekend. 22-10-2023
I very much relate to your contemplations when you solo travel...its nice to remember we're not totally alone, and these are common themes we share ..thanks
I have to say, I think this was my favorite video of all. Such stunning natural beauty! Thank you for sharing it with us. Not only are you sharing it with us, but you are recording for yourself these wonderful moments in your life and what you were thinking at the time.
The beauty of your spirit fits in very well with the beauty of my country lass. You are seeing things in a way that not many can. The best wee blog I have seen. The Gillie Dubh looks after you.
I really like how thoughtful the compositions were and how you included almost every time so many different frames about one thing. When you walked to the white house it truly looked like Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. His Coat was a bit similar and the perspective as well I think. Really beautiful!
Your drone shots are incredible. What a wonder technology is, even as we grapple with it's place in our lives, that you can share this landscape and your journeys with us - those who might never get to see these places. It's the ultimate travel journal, your evocative language elevated by the visuals you bring us. If one day there's a way to share the smell of the moors and the feel of the north wind, that would be complete magic! Much love, from Australia
Ohhhh this video is a breath of fresh air! It's blazing hot in my area, and I'm truly savoring the autumn vibes from Scotland you've captured. My own autumn has been overtaken by a 30°C heatwave, and it's driving me a bit mad, to be honest. Love the cabin vibe ✨🍁❤️
Ooh no! Will the cold come to your area soon though? 😱 This autumn has been so weird, I was literally sweating while getting to the train station as it was abnormally hot, but then it was super cold in Scotland. 😅 Sending you lots of autumn vibes! 🍂✨
I hope so, although I'm on the island with a mild climate. But this year is insanely strange. I guess the climate is changing even faster than it was predicted. Have a lovely day x@@IamDaria
@@IamDaria well, it have been 27 degrees the first week of October. I live i Edinburgh and it is a little colder from the last week, but not as usual in October. The first week in October we had everyday over 20, a couple of days 27, what is a temperature than you dont see even in the Summer. And I am use to hot, for me 27 is Spring because my city is Seville and its usual to have 45 in Summer, but definitely is a climate changing here. Only last week was 18 degres at 6 am, and that is not October in Scotland.
Count your blessings love, in regard to your autumn-turned-30degrees. I assure you it's worse here: we were forced to skip autumn altogether with the early arrival of winter snowstorms and bitter cold. Theres always worse out there! Somewhere else someone languishes in a hospital bed not able to make the most of ANY seasonal change. Always always worse out there. Count your blessings ❤️
I just happened upon this video and I am blown away how peaceful it is. Amazing videography and story telling. Scotland is a country I so much want to go and disappear in. Thank you for sharing your journey there!
Thank you for a most enjoyable video. Several years ago I traveled to Scotland and found it to be more than just a beautiful country. My father’s side of the family came from the Inverness area many, many years ago but the pull of the land and the blood was present in me; I felt like I was home. Your beautiful videography did the country justice.
Such a beautiful and amazing place! I would love to see it one day myself. It is a wonderful gift to get to explore other worlds. And although it’s difficult in our modern world, a tech break is so good for us. Thank you for sharing. 💕
Thanks for this wobderful video and words. I am a middle aged woman and despite loving the place where I live and I adore my house, I feel like you this strong desire to live bits and pieces of my life in different places. As I live alone with my son, a "special boy" I cannot travel on my own with him all over the world for safety reasons, but in Europe I do and since the covid I spent twice a year one month in another place. It is a wonderful experience that goes far beyond ordinary tourism, it is a cultural travel, I rent a house or an appartment and I live a piece of my life in another place, taking beautiful photos, too. ❤
This video made me rethink about my own travel to Scotland in 2020. At this time I wasn't in a very good place mentally and couldn't make the most of this trip. I regret it, and I am longing for travelling again there. But at the same time I try to consider myself lucky. I was given the opportunity of visiting Scotland, created awesome memories and it's something to be grateful for...
Another beautiful video. Scotland is my happy place. My husband and I got married up there and had our honeymoon there too. We visit Scotland every year for either a holiday or just a weekend. I'd live there in a heartbeat if I could. Thank you for posting another lovely video and I'm subscribing to your channel right now!
This is my first time watching. Spectacular. Awe inspiring. I'm captivated and I'm hitting the subscribe button. You are a treasure lovely lady. Thank you for sharing your talent.❤
I really enjoyed your video. At the end I had tears in my eyes. I also long for Scotland, so wild, so natural, so authentic, so Celtic. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thank you so much dear Daria for this wonderful moment of beauty. I was in Scotland last month and yes, this Land has something unique and magic. You captured this on your camera perfectly well. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to go back there, but that's why memories are made for... And Scotland give memories that last a very long time. And your vidéo definitely helps !! Very best to you ❤
I am from rural Scotland and I don't feel the same, you are nothing but a tourist romantising the country. All I know about Scotland is the cold, rain, alcohol and drug issues, gangs and run down council estates, a shite hole really.
@@Lucien234-i2z you are right, I am romanticising most likely as I haven’t lived there. My experience is very limited and I don’t have a perspective of someone who experienced Scotland as a resident. But also, a lot of people say the exact same thing about England and tell me that England is a sh*hole, which I completely disagree with. While I see the ugly bits and certainly notice and experience many bad things about it, I still think it’s beautiful. And on the other hand, I myself say the exact same negative thing about Latvia, a country where I was born. I only lived there as a child so I don’t have a perspective of an adult living there, but I dislike the place with a passion whereas a ton of people tell me how beautiful it is and how wonderful life is there. It’s all about our subjective experiences, isn’t it?
Thank you for sharing the romantic beauty of Scotland so gracefully! I lived in Scotland for two months last year and Loch Lomond is one of the places I didn’t manage to visit. It looks incredible 🍁
This is a beautiful video. I used to live in Glasgow for 1 year and always took a bus to Edinburgh when I got the day off. Miss my Scotland. I will go again this Autumn this year. Thanks for the lovely video.

It happened to me too in 2003. And I was back in 2021 and I am still here!
After watching this video, I felt like I am slowed down for the entirely of the video and appreciated life and beauty of this world.
So beautiful! Edinburgh is a place of dreams for me. I loved everything about it. Thank you for reawakening my treasured memories of this heart of my folk soul.
So exquisitely filmed and edited. You captured the season beautifully. Haste ye back. 👍
One of the most beautiful videos about Scotland I have ever seen! Thank you!!
Thank you so much! ✨
8:27 the moment, that took to your land where you wanna go and mesmerizing theme music it was just love.❤❤
The happiness and comfort of natural beauty.
Thank you for sharing. From 🇰🇷 °
Thank you for this beautiful little film. Scotland is my dream travel destination and I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Blessings from Lisa in the U.S.
Aah it’s beautiful, I’m sure you will enjoy it! Hope you will get to travel soon! 😌
Aah thank you! 🥰 Scotland is just so wonderful anywhere you look, it’s easy to catch so much beauty on camera!
The beauty of your spirit fits in very well with the beauty of my country lass. You are seeing things in a way that not many can. The best wee blog I have seen. The Gillie Dubh looks after you.
this was so poetically beautiful
I really like how thoughtful the compositions were and how you included almost every time so many different frames about one thing. When you walked to the white house it truly looked like Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. His Coat was a bit similar and the perspective as well I think. Really beautiful!
This was truly beautiful - would love to visit Scotland one day. You've given me a taste of what could be.. thank you 🙂
So serene and beautiful..brought back good memories of my visit more than 20 years ago 😊
How mystic and gloomy and so beautiful a warm blanket on a cold wet day
Your English is lyrical and your photography is wonderful.
I hope you see it soon! 🥰
Wow! You are phenomenal. I could just feel your soul and presence in your words and your heart. Never had anyone make me feel so deeply connected.
What an amazing video my loveliest Daria🥰🥰 Amazing landscapes🏞️, amazing music 🎵🎶🎶🎶 and heartwarming words always 🥹🤗☺️
Thank you for arranging and sharing these wonderful impressions! 🍁
Aah thank you for watching! 🥰
Oh, you are like being in a fairy tale. Like a dream comes true. How wonderful place. How wonderful place you'd been
This is my first time watching. Spectacular. Awe inspiring. I'm captivated and I'm hitting the subscribe button. You are a treasure lovely lady. Thank you for sharing your talent.❤

Beautiful places in the morning make a good life ❤
You write 🖋️ beautifully - THANKYOU for sharing your eyes, words and mind 🖋️🙏
I really enjoyed your video. At the end I had tears in my eyes. I also long for Scotland, so wild, so natural, so authentic, so Celtic. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Hey there! As for me Edinburgh is dark, gloomy and cold city. The architecture is not to my test at all. Only NATURE is realy ALIVE and welcoming.
I just had to comment and state that this is your best video up to date. Pure magic.
Aah thank you so much! 🥰
Wow, right then I found the best channel ever that matches one of the parts of my soul and also helps me with learning English. Thank you for you).
Very best to you ❤
Aah I’m happy you got to visit Scotland! Hope you made some beautiful memories! 🥰
Thank you for a peaceful, relaxing few minutes in our troubled world❤
I hope the world will heal one day ❤️
@@IamDaria me too♥️
