Thank you so much for your posting! I'm glad that you have enjoyed Kamikochi trip & Matsumoto-castle🏯(I had lived in Matsumoto-city for 3 years) Autumn in Japan is the good season to walk around (Summer in Japan is too hot🥵)
Kamikochi is a little difficult to get to, but it's a popular tourist destination because of the rare Swiss-like scenery. I've been there in late autumn, and I enjoyed your video.
During the late1970s, means I was still in my high school to undergraduate period, I was hooked to the mountain climbing excursions even though I was living in Tokyo as a city boy. Perhaps some sort of literature influences, don't remember, nevertheless it's true that something profoundly inspired me to conquer those magnificent mountain summits all over Japan. In consequence, I visited Kamikochi at least 10 times during the time. But funny I did not see any foreigners and wild monkeys in those days. Probably monkeys have come down from the deep mountain forest cause people have started to feed them with junk food? Possible...
Kamikochi is a gate for some of the trekking routes. Especially in summer days, many hikers visit there and go to Northern Alps of Japan. If you have a chance, I recommend to walk around Karasawa Curl which is 3 hours far from Kamikochi. Enjoy traveling Japan!

However, bears and monkeys are increasingly appearing in human settlements searching for food. Is your country a developed country? Please tell me some good methods.
