Thanks for inviting me on the livestream! I always have a blast on the show and yesterday was no different. Nice open tag! 3 solid choices there, brother. I’ll jump in on this sometime this week for sure! Good stuff as always, Kevin👊🏻
This Tag should be interesting see everyone will have their own take on it. Good solid choices on most jobs you could almost interchange knife for knife except batoning i guess. Thanks for showing them
Bradford Guardian 5.5 (Micarta/3V) - Fixed blade that is amazing in hand for extended periods of use. Cold Steel Espada XL (G-10/AUS10A) - Backup/Heavy use fixed blade that just so happens to fold. Jack Wolf Knives Vampire Jack - Slip Joint that goes everywhere with me.
I like all those choices, the Buck is really a good size for belt carry, large enough to take care of big task but small enough not to be cumbersome. The stockman really gives you lots of options with the three blades and that Cold Steele is awesome! I really enjoy seeing what people are carrying since I spend time in the woods and I do three knifes on a daily basis
I appreciate the feedback, Alan, it’s nice to know that you’re out there having fun in the woods… I got to get out there more often. Thanks for watching.
Nice! I need to get one of those stickers! 1. Buck large stockman, 3 blades better than 1. 2. Bark River Squad Leader, very stout and comfy. 3. Cold Steel AD 10, strong and comfy to hold. 4. Most of my Bucks are all in display cases😅, ain’t using those!
I’m gonna have to make a video tomorrow this one is fun. Thank you Kevin for a great idea for this open tag now you bring this cold steel to my attention I’m going to get that down the road. Your fixed blade is awesome choice I couldn’t selected a better one even if I had one. I’m always excited to see you with a new video it’s really great to see you especially with everything you have going on in life with family and pets plus work. THANK YOU KEVIN HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 😊😊😊😊😊😊
I'd take your very solid choices without hesitation. Following the guidelines, I'd take, from my own camp kit, the Esse 6 and SAK Explorer and to that, I'd add the Boker Scout
Excellent choices. Great open tag. The 104 would probably be my choice if I could only have ONE knife (Tarzan mode). My next trip into the woods I'm taking the 110 Magnacut, the Uncle Henry 153 (testing the new handle) and a Western 742 Premium Stock knife.
That Buck is very nice!!! Im getting thoughts that are very bad for my wallet at the moment!!! Agree on the larger Stockman, don't have a Case, a Boker and a Taylors Eye Witness. The sheepfoot for whittling, larger blade for game/food processing and the spey, a great little tool kit.
This is a cool tag! I think you made some good picks for your knives as well! I might give this some thought and jump in on this one. I haven't carried my Lawman in awhile now. I think I need to dig it out and give it some pocket time! It's such a good knife.
3 solid choices buddy! that lawman has been on my list for years & you may have just sold me on the 104! lol great breakdown of the usefulness of the 75, she's purdy too...great stuff brother 💯👊 I may do this tag, missed it first time around
Into the woods, 3 Knives open Tag My 3 are, ESEE - JG5, versatile fix blade with a nice belly blade. Chopping and slicing as needed. Folder, a Buck 110LT, clip point, just a versatile blade, clean fish, clean rabbit or birds. My slip joint a Case 3375 CS Stockman large. 3 blades, can handle about any task and be a great back up to the other two being packed.
Very cool! Especially the Buck. I would probably take my CAT XL 9 in one multitool as my folder(it has a full sized locking blade), my Buck 863 Selkirk as my fixed blade and my Buck Canoe as my traditional knife.
Reiff f4 in 3v for fixed. ( tough as hell) kizer cormorant s35vn ( love the steel and fidgety)GEC english jack indian paintbrush( gotta have something pretty to look at)😂
Question, I just found your channel, through another channel. And I will do a video on the three blades I would carry during a week in the woods. Now, does a Swiss Army knife qualify as a Slip Joint knife? Because I carry one every day, in my EDC bag. I will let you know when I put mine up. I have been collecting knives since the early 80's. I also have a good collection of Buck Knives.
So we are not that far off for the fix blade a bush man cold steel, blade 110 buck ,and a case trapper if a good one not the lose blade garbage that they put out now 😊
Nice tag Great choices
Thank you and thanks for watching

Good stuff, can’t go wrong with any of those blades. Nice to see a fellow Mass guy reviewing knives👍
Great picks! IMO, a big stockman pattern is one of the best slipjoints a person can carry in the woods. Cheers, buddy!
I would have to agree. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching.
Cool stuff. I like these kind of videos

That is a great trio. I would have guessed Victorinox for your slip joint. You cant go wrong with a 75 pattern either though. Take care.
That definitely would’ve been a great option! Thanks for watching

What I don’t understand about this is a slip joint is a folder.
