The specificity of the semantics in this game always floors me. Like, DUCT TAPE “sealing” two sides of a severed chain together for the room to be completely closed? AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH. It’s too fucking good; I can’t.
Logically it works. If someone removes the tape to undo the repair, it breaks the closed room.
It's like the strip of paper, but when it's put back on , it's on a different place on the door.
Looking back at these clips knowing the solution is so satisfying especially when you look back at what you were thinking it'd be at that point

2000s anime game with a weird causality power system? Count me in
lol. Umineko is the best murder mystery written ever. Pick it up. It's not just about figuring out whodunnit but also trying to disprove that magic/witches kill everyone. Not saying anymore but there's even more to it (like say the freakin' multiverse). Read it and be prepared for the greatest journey of your life. It's also a massive ensemble piece with a great setting - lots of characters with different personalities. If you like big casts then you'll like this. If you also like REALLY REALLY good music you'll love this.
You know, since Erika is the culprit here, that would violate Knox's 5th in real life. Someone from outside the island (a foreigner) came and commited the crimes.
It depends on how you interpret this rule becouse its really cryptic. It says something like "no unrelated person can be part of the story". Then here is the thing. At wich point can you call person "unrelated"? For example godha could is completely unrelated to everyone and everything on this island. But he has still some little story beats that make him import for the big picture. The same is fore erika. She came nowhere and has nothing to do with anything on rockenjima. But she is still the main reason why the hole story in episode 6 happend becouse the relatives wanted to play a prank on her

Lambdas rant right before battler was left alone in the logic error is kinda giving ciconia so out of place… but that hell and night mare and “happily chatting“ like the ciconia chat rooms and losing the mind part seems to be the factory scene. 😮

based on how satoko acted during the loops, it didnt seem like hell to her, she kept using it to her advantage to get what she wanted. no way this is the same person that got joy out of killing her friends in attempt to get what she wanted.

@@Fragmentsinfractals488 by witch satoko i assume you mean looper satoko (though i do think she split off her looper personality and became a witch we havent seen yet) im still trying to understand the whole split personality thing, personally i think that satoko we saw was the satoko that met eua first, eua mentioned satoko completely forgot about eua, but then she at the very least gave her the same name, which took out her boredom. clearly there was something before this we never saw.
