Battler doesn't know who Beatrice is. The reason roses are red 🌹 He suffers from amnesia. He doesn't know who his mom is neither who Beatrice and the Ghost from the Mansion are. Bern and Lambda weren't enough for him to see the Truth. There are things only the old, the real ones, can see, because It turns Red. Like the first time the Pink turned White to Red.
Favorite op tbh, it's just so cozy. Reminds me of the comfy days when i woke up in the morning to read umineko and listened to it while reading for the first time.

Speaking as someone who just finished Episode 1- I only know what a handful of these are. I can guess at most of these but a mystery story is meant to do that. It works perfectly fine.
