GSM Why you seem perfectly happy with the fact that the processor of s21(Exynos 2100) has similar performance to the last year's snapdagon 865. You actually pay the same and in many cases more money for the same phone but with basically a last year's processor. I think you should at least mention that...
@@frankreynolds9930 In my opinion they should mention that we shouldn't not buy these phones with exynos 2100 because if we continue to do that, samsung will continue to give us worst performing cpu's. Also, 2100 is closer to 865 than the 888 and that's bad.
@@grorr526 Well Samsung will stop using SD in future once US stops using cdma. Also 865+ and 2100 are mostly similar in architecture. Only x1 extra core and 5nm chip. No performance is better on 2100 in both antutu, geekbench. Almost 70k more in antutu. The cpu performance is fine, its gpu lacking which will be fixed next year with amd.
@@frankreynolds9930 The question is why they release their smartphones in the same price as the US or more in alot of cases. Why they dont sell all their smartphones with the snapdragon 888 until exynos has the same exactly performance as the snapdragon in both cpu and gpu. Until galaxy s5 I think all their flagships had snapdragon and everything was fine.
@@grorr526 Because Samsung are one of biggest android manufacturer and Samsung using all sd means Qualcomm will be a monopoly and it effects all android phones. Samsung definitely cheaped out on a g-whizz phone? No charger in the box, the jack, long gone, no micro s/d, dumped the 1440p display? Compromises all over the place!
Guys, I currently have oneplus 7t pro, would there be any need to update it ?..My question is that how does my mobile perform with today's flagships ???
considering my Galaxy S9 (which has an older processor, less ram, and less premium camera features as compared to your Oneplus 7 pro) still runs very well, I'd say you could easily hold off on upgrading for another year or two. your 2019 flagship still has a fast refresh rate, a competent amount of ram, and a more recent processor.
I got the S21+ because they did not have any Ultras. I have to have a phone for my job and the situation was kind of an emergency or I would have waited. This is a great phone and I love it.
Not including a charger?? You just know that if Samsung phones weren't straight up planned obsolescence devices they'd even make the battery an "optional extra accessory" It's like these companies releasing twin USB port devices instead of wireless charging and a headphone jack, and expecting high praise for it, these devices have an NFC coil and an additional type c port, dont tell me you couldn't have fit it in!!
I'm honestly a little annoyed that Samsung is taking a few notes from Apple with the S21. No micro SD card support, no headphone jack, and no included charger. And it costs more. (And I hate that damn hole on the main display.) Meanwhile, the Galaxy S9 has all those things and costs less. (Also, no annoying "notch".) Yeah, it's a 3 year old phone, but it's still a great phone!
Same here, I'm looking to upgrade from my S9+ since the battery is basically useless now. Looked at the specs and realized they removed the iris scanner, heart rate sensor and dropped the resolution from QHD to Full HD.
I have the Galaxy S20+ phone which I got last year and so far love it as it does what I want it to do and not use much power. As for the camera, I have not used it yet and have two other great cameras for doing photos and videos and don't need that feature on my phone.
Great video as always. On the Samsung, the XIaomi mi10t pro comes with 5000 battery, same screen size with 144hz, same memory, better camera and an snapdragon 865 chip compared to the exynos, for one third of the price at least here locally in Thailand. I do like the samsung software better and it has an amoled instead of lcd but that's it. It should be half price, and it will be but only when the s22 is launched ;-)
The phone is 200 bucks off right now on Amazon so it's 799.99. I got the regular 21, but after having used the 7 Pro for a year now, I didn't like how small the regular 21 felt which is ironic cause I loved the S10e's size and hated how big and heavy the 7 Pro felt. But one of the major reasons why I didn't like the 21 is the haptics on Samsung's phone are just trash after having experienced OnePlus'. Like for real, I'd expect kind of buzzy haptics on the A line or the budget models, but on the flagships it's just weird. Things just don't feel as precise as they do on a OnePlus or even the Pixel phones I've tried at Best Buy. If it was up to me to choose between haptics and like refresh rate, I'd probably choose having better haptics because it something that is noticable all the time. Once you get used to a high refresh rate, it isn't as noticable until you dial it back down and realize just how much more smooth it is when it's higher.
I have the p30 pro I now have s21 plus stick with your pro it's much better I'm sending s21 back getting oppo x5 find pro...battery is terrible on s21 plus and the back feels like plastic

I have the 256Gb version and it’s got enough storage for me so far, and the software upgrades to the camera have made it an excellent shooter.
Hello! Where did you buy your phone here in the PH?
@@kurt4759 through Globe.
How the performance in 2023, is it exynos version??
@@ugesh5045 it's still great, really loving this phone. With all the software updates it's been improved over time. It's still very fast and the battery gets me through a day. The camera is great, except the zoom isn't very good over 5x, but up to that point it's sharp. Low light shots are excellent. No problems with gaming or anything. The screen for watching TV shows is sharp as well. Great phone, don't see myself upgrading for at least another year or two.
Getting this phone in 48hours. New one .Thankyou for your review. Hope I enjoy it for upcoming 2 years
What was the game he was playing?
What app was used to show the fps on the screen

S21 Plus is a piece of masterpiece. This is the best ever release by samsung.
Thankyou for making this review ☺your the best guys
5:52 I think he meant to say "3x loseless optical zoom" instead of "3x loseless digital zoom"
Nope the “optical” part of the zoom (if you could even call it that) is .06x thats right not .6x .06x! Thats why they call it a hybrid zoom
I got an s10+ in 2019 and i still love it, i might not switch for another year or two

Hello! Should I get OnePlus 8pro or OnePlus 9r or s20+?
Make us pay $1000 and don't include a charger lmao
Wait what!?!
S21+ or note 20 ultra???
Does the Exynos version support dual-band GPS (L1 and L5)?
Hold up, I didn't know GSMArea had a YT channel!?!?
Nice
GSM Why you seem perfectly happy with the fact that the processor of s21(Exynos 2100) has similar performance to the last year's snapdagon 865. You actually pay the same and in many cases more money for the same phone but with basically a last year's processor. I think you should at least mention that...
Pretty sure they mentioned about it. Plus many regions had exynos 990 and now 2100 is close to sd 888.
Who is gonna pay for RnD of exynos chip then if all they use it to buy overpriced sd chips. They have already hugely improved exynos and it is enough for most users. With few updates and new amd chip, it will improve even further.
Can you see the ppi difference between 1440p S21 Ultra and 1080p S21 Plus?

Thanks for the timestamps !!
Samsung definitely cheaped out on a g-whizz phone? No charger in the box, the jack, long gone, no micro s/d, dumped the 1440p display? Compromises all over the place!
Please explain a 1000 eur price tag without optical zoom.
Or a charger/cable... Or a case... Or memory card slot... Or a headphone jack...
Accidentally got the exynos. I wanna return it and change to snapdragon but will have to add $60. Do i change it or keep the exynos?
Real smooth review. Keep up

@@jivemelon thanks for the reply bro❤️
Just got a new s21 plus for 700$ good deal no?
I got the S21+ because they did not have any Ultras. I have to have a phone for my job and the situation was kind of an emergency or I would have waited. This is a great phone and I love it.
Early gang 2.0😁❤
Is this still good this year 2022 or next year 2023?

which is better exynos or snapdragon??
What is the price for it
Not including a charger?? You just know that if Samsung phones weren't straight up planned obsolescence devices they'd even make the battery an "optional extra accessory"
It's like these companies releasing twin USB port devices instead of wireless charging and a headphone jack, and expecting high praise for it, these devices have an NFC coil and an additional type c port, dont tell me you couldn't have fit it in!!
How is your phone gold and black?
I'm honestly a little annoyed that Samsung is taking a few notes from Apple with the S21.
No micro SD card support, no headphone jack, and no included charger.
And it costs more.
(And I hate that damn hole on the main display.)
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S9 has all those things and costs less.
(Also, no annoying "notch".)
Yeah, it's a 3 year old phone, but it's still a great phone!
Same here, I'm looking to upgrade from my S9+ since the battery is basically useless now.
Looked at the specs and realized they removed the iris scanner, heart rate sensor and dropped the resolution from QHD to Full HD.
WAIT. ..so no charger? When purchasing the phone?
Is it weird that I actually would have preferred a plastic back?
I have the Galaxy S20+ phone which I got last year and so far love it as it does what I want it to do and not use much power. As for the camera, I have not used it yet and have two other great cameras for doing photos and videos and don't need that feature on my phone.
I'm three years late, but ram specs were incorrect. The + only has 8 gb. The Ultra had the option for 12/16
How are you enjoying the phone so far?
I'm trying to buy this phone as used condition. How is it still holding up? I don't see any good phone with good software experience in this budget.
Frnds should i upgrade from s20 ultra to any Samsung?
I just ordered one last week. What do you mean it doesn't come with a charger?
No charger in the box. Only a usb-c to usb-c cable in the box. Wireless charging times are kind of slow for my taste
Wireless charger a bit slow compare direct on plug..
The 📦 is much smaller, kind of pint sized, which means no charger 🤔in the box? But they provide a wire, what's that all about, on a 1,ooo phone??
He is saying i can buy s20+ at a cheaper price. Where can i find s20+ at a cheaper price can anybody tell me?
Maybe If u go to their store. Or u can buy it for cheap second hand at a good site.
@@shishirnaik7844 but the price is still 1200$ for s20+ on their site. I am looking for 1st hand set and genuine one :(
Great video as always.
No IP68 rating, which is a must for me. As a food delivery rider, my phone was damaged by water couple of times already.

Lucky, I got screwed from Amazon, 900
