Stuart, growing your hair back after watching this channel is the least of my worries. I am 87 and my wife is 82, we have just found out she is pregnant with twins! She has told me to stop watching your videos and sell all my bikes. To be perfectly honest it does make sense.
Are you going name your kids Isaac and Ishmael (cf Abraham & Sarah in Genesis 18-10-15). I don't recall the Bible passage saying anything about Sarah commanding Abraham to sell his fleet of donkeys and camels to fund the childrens' upbringing ;-p
Einstein may have said that the Ideal number of bikes (x) can be expressed by the formula x = n+1 where n=your current number of bikes. Also applies to guitars apparently....
The ladies simply do not get it do they? I once had a garage full of classic bikes... Which the missus couldnt stand. She made sell all of them for pre payment of a home loan. Now I am stuck with her with nowhere to go.
Hell man, half the reason I watch is your straight shooting, your irreverence, your bluntness, your tall tales, and other stories only tangentially related to motorcycles. Don't stop. It's great stuff. I haven't watched the video yet; just responding to your opening comedy act. Might be back later once I watch this production.
Sir you are absolutely hilarious, read dark humor, and I am absolutely loving it. You are a true inspiration for 46 year Olds like me who are fighting the mid age crisis of owning a big bike. 100% with you and always will be. God bless you and your family and your rides. You'll always be my number 1. Oh I've been gifted with a lot of salt and pepper hair hahaha.. the suzuki vstrom 250sx and the himalayan and scram and hunter are the best.. awaiting your video on the jawa and yezdi line ups.. here i go again reminding you hahaha
My wife has a complaint about your channel. She has no problem with your presentation technique, my watching your videos religiously since discovering your channel, or the fact that I now have a classic 500 with a number of your suggested modifications/accessories. No, her complaint lies with the fact that despite my subscribing to your channel and being a regular viewer my hair remains the same silvery white colour it has been for a long time. Whilst she does not seek compensation for this failing, she does feel that you should not falsely build up the hopes of all the long suffering partners who overheard the remarks at the start of this video. Me, I’m happy to just have hair. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for that update on increased Follicle growth. Unfortunately it hasn’t occurred on top of my head but has increased in my nostrils and both of my ears. The top of my chrome dome is still as shiny as ever. Keep up the good work.
My classic 500 gives me more smiles per mile than any other I've owned over the past 40+ years, unfortunately having watched every video of yours I'm still completely bald on my head, that said, everywhere else the hair seems to be going berserk!
I owned one and liked it a ton but not safe for highway here in US because even though it can get up to 75, it takes forever to do so. I traded for T120
Thank you, Uncle Stu. Coming to you from the US of A. As a member of the international army of the follicly challenged I most certainly will up my subscription and like rate. I will be sure to enjoy every episode. I'll also contact my barber to get on the schedule for twice a week visits. Thanks also for the greatly needed chuckles!
I totally agree with you that nothing makes you smile more than a Bullet 500. Riding it is always an event and never an obligation. Please continue making this great content and ignore the critics because these videos aren't made for them.
I was considering buying a new RE Interceptor here in the USA at $5999, but I could not find any nearby dealers that would make me a decent deal. I ended up buying a 2011 Triumph Bonneville SE from the Harley Davidson dealership where I work. It was a trade with about 9200 miles and I gave $3650. It had some nice Triumph nylon touring bags (which I removed for now) and some crap Emgo shorty mufflers when I got it. I bought a NICE set of Bassani mufflers with my Covid stimulus money.
Comedy Gold! your wasted on TH-cam, its time Netflix or Amazon signed you up! Gorgeous bike collection, practical skills, and an ability to switch between comedy and factual content which is to die for!
Glad to see what all you have. Mine are a 2009 Bonneville, 2013 Thunderbird Storm, and 2020 Interceptor. I’m retired so not going above three. I enjoy your videos! Very informative and interesting.
Hi John. I rank the bikes Bonneville, Interceptor, Storm. The Enfield is actually a sweeter ride but the Bonneville just has more going on. I trust you are enjoying retirement.
I cant really express with words (being no native speaker) how much I admire this kind of brilliant British sense of humour! Having no problem with extraordinary loss of hair ( I‘m 63) my hair has nevertheless a little bit thinned out over the years. I think I will try a subscription, purchase a wonder hair shampoo and then we will see.
Yes, Stu,I noticed my hair grew whilst watching this vlog. Although I would probably tear most of it out if I owned a Triumph (based on the woes you have suffered). Three cheers for Royal Enfield.
Love your work and love your humour. I've finally received my RE650 Interceptor 8-months after ordering it (COVID delays and getting stock all the way to New Zealand) - but it has been worth the wait. As a one-time motorcycle mechanic (Japanese machines), I've owned many bikes in my time. Your videos along with one or two others, were instrumental in convincing me to get my first non-Japanese machine. All I can say is...Thank you. I love my new Interceptor - it could do with more power, and the seat was designed by a medieval torturer, but it is still a joy to ride an operate. Light (feels much lighter than it is) with light and smooth controls, and perfectly balanced and predictable handling. Like you, I love the bike's simplicity and ease of maintenance (one of my reasons for buying). I have watched all your videos and will continue to do so. Always great advice without any hint of "know-it-all" - when you express your opinions, you make it clear they are YOUR opinions, and you don't expect everyone to think the same - which, to me, makes any suggestions or advice you offer, worth listening to. Thanks again. Ride safely.
Just prior to watching this video I had watched one from a very popular American you tube channel. Their attempt at tongue in cheek humour paddles into insignificance along side yours Stu. Thanks for brightening my day. 😊
What a nice collection of bikes! I totally agree with you about the Classic 500. I have been owning one for about 3 weeks now, and it's a very nice bike to ride (even with a pillion!). It's not a performance bike, as you have said in one of your videos, something which is completely true, but this bike is so good and fun to ride; and it's quite easy to ride as well. I'm looking forward to receive my saddlebags and their supports, allowing me to go on holiday with my Classic 500😄 Take care of yourself, and see you soon!
I've watched a dozen of your youtube posts and as a result I have put a deposit on an RE 500 Bullitt (Tribute) I'll let you know how that works out. Thank you for the inspiration.
I'm from Brazil and I have a Continental GT and it's the best motorcycle I've ever had...simple and fantastic to ride...like you said, something like this...."It's a bike made for a riders not for a customers..." I completely agree my friend....✌🏻🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Your apology leads me to ask quite a personal question. What adhesive do you use to keep your syrup on when removing your crash lid??? Great collection 👍🏼👍🏼
Who doesn't like "Eyyyup"!? One of the best parts of your videos is the anticipation of it at the start! Looking forward to that video on upgrading the Classic's lights, I find myself triple checking that i'm in neutral on my Bullets on sunny days as the lights are quite dim.
The Classic is most definitely the best bike I've ever owned. Love it. Buying 'May' was the best decision I've ever made. Loved the intro apology, but it's true you know, ever since I started regularly watching this channel, my beard has shown substantially more growth 🤣
You have a wonderful collection of rides, Stu. My thought on motorcycles are akin to tools in a tool box: each ride is unique so choose the motorcycle that best suits it. Having halved the flock to three, the joy brought by the remaining motorcycles has increased as they each are receiving more attention. Our Ural is the heavy lifter as it is our dog’s main ride (solid biker dog through and through). Our two Royal Enfields are for those longer rides where coffee shops and scenery are more important that the destination. Thank you for sharing your collection! Oh, I’ll send you my barber’s bill...
Stuart, thanks for all the time, care and quality info you have provided to date. I was kidnapped by my parents when I was a youth and currently am still interned somewhere in the Canadian wilderness (it’s all wilderness). I have a few bikes one of them being a Bobber Black. You have provided me with many articles of info that I didn’t know, I didn’t know, and for that I’m grateful. Cheers
One of the nicest bike collection, not only because of the bikes you have got, but also because of the condition they are in. I must say I'm jealous of the classic 500 chrome. I had my first bike when I was 18. It was a Pulsar 220 from Bajaj (another manufacturer in India). I was young and sports bikes with fairing were the things I had my heart on. 10 years later, I finally booked a continental GT 650 last month. I would have bought 500 in a heartbeat if they were available for sale. I'm just inspired by the way you take care of your bikes. Looking forward to more content. ♥️
Hi Uncle Stu from Australia! I have enjoyed your videos for quite some time now and this one has given me a certain glow. The classic chrome is the first bike I’ve owned, I recently acquired a GT (mr clean) I am toying with the idea of the triumph speedmaster being my next bike . As much fun as I have had with the GT, the classic has found a place in my heart where I know I will never part with her. I love your videos, the content, the delivery and the humour. I look forward to enjoying many more videos and enjoying my full head of hair, Which I am now confident I will be follicley advantaged as long as I continue to watch.
You are at the very same point as me. Classic 500 is the more enjoyable bike I ever had in 50 years. It's deliciously slow, but its voluptuous riding, doesn't compare with nothing else , ...except perhaps a Street Bob Harley.
I own two on your list and heartily agree with the RE Classic 500 choice, an Air Cooled T100 arrived last year and that's been very enjoyable. I only have three bikes no room for more. Motone have taken a lot of money off me lately but the parts are exquisite.
Keen to see your fix for the instrument lights - apart from a loose mirror and a slight adjustment of the clutch, these are the only major (in fact very minor) gripes I’ve had with my classic 500 during the first 800 miles!
Really interesting to hear how different the Interceptor and Continental are. As you said in the vid, i just assumed styling and riding position was the only difference. Definitely looking forward to a vid going through the differences.
Just been given the book "Royal Enfield - A Complete History" by Greg Pullen as a present. Published in 2021, so right up to date. Very comprehensive. I recommend if you've not seen it. 👍
Another enjoyable video Stuart. Love your sense of humor, great choice in the Classic 500. Still intend owning one at some point. Take care and stay safe.
Bloody hell! Just ran up stairs and it’s true!!! Hair is growing back!!! Also more shockingly I tend to even smile more...maybe another by product of Uncle Stu’s videos! So be warned 😂😂😂😂 also recent TH-cam videos have proven riding motorbikes helps with mental health, so ride more and ride safe 😁😊👍👍👍
Stuart, I have been viewing your videos for some time now. I enjoy them very much and find them very informative. You obviously know what you are talking about !! And, by the way, my hair is starting to grow back !! Thank You !!! Dave Wentworth, California, USA
Stuart, greetings from Canada. Thank you again for producing such an informative and educational channel. As an older rider I really love the retro look of your RE 650’s. Dealers in Canada are few and far between but once our lockdown is over I hope to get out and see them in the flesh. Who knows, maybe next year I will buy one?
Aaaay up........partly because of you Stuart I now have a Continental GT650 in the garage as of today. Looking forward to buying lots of bits & bobs, & checking your videos how to fit them. Correctly.
I have 22 in the stable...only 11 currently street legal ( I rotate them yearly to help prevent " white death " from this lousy gas they pass off on us )... I luv my Interceptor.... as for my Bullet... it's attached to a Cozy sidecar and I've never ridden a solo 500. But I tell fellow riders it's a honest motorcycle that does old school with a bit of modern reliability. Now, I do have a Barbour, most of my hair.... but the choppers are store bought.
Interesting update on your collection and your comments about hair growth & security measures very funny. Thanks Stu and hope your back gets better soon.
Stuart, firstly addressing the complaints, what a load of cow shit, ignore them and refuse to acknowledge them, thus not giving them an ammo to continue with their rubbish. Love your collection my second bike many years ago was a naturally aspirated Triumph Bonneville, I loved it so much I named one of my Daughters after it, not Triumph but Bonnie. I've said it before on your channel, the Enfield Classic is a True Gentleman's bike, looks like a bike, sounds like a bike it evens smells like a bike so we better not crash them.
My Husband Bob(74) really enjoys your videos, along with some of the smart arse remarks, often well placed. And our stable of bikes includes 2 outfits and a trike. Keep up the info it is interesting to know what is going on in the political world. We are in Australia and it is not much different here. It seems politicians seems to be constantly trying to stop us having fun on our bikes, and if Bob didnt customize the height of my seat I would be challenged as to what to ride. At present I ride a Kawasaki KLE500, too tall for my short legs although I am 5'7" and 71
Nice collection I fully understand how you feel about the bullet. I ride my Pegasus editon bullet most of the time. Love your videos Stuart. Hope your back goes ok soon
I have the same damage on the sprocket cover of my T120, although, in my case... I did it myself. It's a very easy thing to do, apparently. My guess is that the zipper on my (old) boots is somewhat exposed when I'm sitting on the bike and my jeans naturally ride up a bit, and that the scratching comes from the zipper rubbing against the cover. Either way, I'd love to see a video on how to fix it. Thanks, Stuart -- you've a very enviable fleet!
Hi Stuart thank you for the warning regarding spontaneous hair growth and colour change. It is true that a being a man of a similar age to your self I have noticed that since watching your channel I have been able to maintain my full flowing head of hair, however I have experienced a decline in hair colour however I will still stay subscribed as watching your channel is worth the trade off.
Not sure if you've been asked this before but with the E10 now and during the dark wet winter days.... I take it the fleet won't get out much.....How will you combat the degrading of modern fuels in your bikes ?
I rode a friends Classic Bullet here in Spain at a concentracion a few years ago..... My Triton was having general overall at the time...Of course the Bullet had nothing like the Umph! of the 650 'Trumpet' engine, but thats not what the Enfield is about is it.. In general a concentracion travels at a modest speed anyway so in many ways the Enfield was better suited than the Triton, which looked the 'bollox' but was a bit of a pain when riding ..... stop-start....through villages, bearing in mind its hot as well. I can appreciate your attraction for this little bike, it just lopes along the road effortlessly ...its a 'Just go for a Ride Bike'....sometimes thats all you want to do...Greetings from España.
Nice to see your passion, can you please do a Royal Enfield classic 350 cc review as it’s the only option which exists to buy new or share a link if already done. Thanks
😂🤣 “spontaneous hair growth”... good one Uncle Stu! Keep on keeping on brother. 👍👍 I also own the great 2020 Classic 500 in chrome black, so very interested in your upcoming ABS issue and instrument light upgrades.
G'day Stuart, come to think of it, I was facing frolicles deficiency.... the past few months frolicles have been stirring strong, I wondered how did this post midlife crisis wonder happened. Ahhh it must have been attributed to watching your channel... I'll keep watching 👀 and riding... miracles do happen. Cheers 🍻
Excellent state of the collection video Stuart - some really gorgeous bikes there! I'm really looking forwards to what you have to say about your new RE Continental. Hope your back is better very soon, and you must enlarge on what Barbour International is writing to you, we all love a bit of delicious scandal- so now you've mentioned it I'm afraid you're morally obliged to spill the beans 😉
That’s a beautiful collection Stuart but towards the end of the video it was difficult to see the Bullet properly as hair from the back of my head started spilling over my brow and into my eyes, so I had to rush off and shave. I was coming back to watch again but unfortunately tripped over my Barbour jacket that must have fallen off the coat hook in the hallway while I was shaving. Keep up the great work.
650 Gt turned up after 12 weeks wait but well worth it. Glad get away from the dealer, chocolate teapot comes to mind there’s only two in the state that’s the size of the uk! Keep up your good works🏍👍
your garage is just lit. If I had them i would keep em inside my house as showpiece furniture. I still have an ancient RE Bullet from the 80s, when it came with an oddly placed kickstarter and gear lever, made me hell of a mechanic and it does have an attitude.
Love my Uncle Stu's videos. You do make me laugh! I'm originally from Cheshire and your accent take me back m'back t'day when I lived int' motherland :)
I had to listen twice to the introduction, showing I wasn’t paying enough attention! It’s when you advised people not to subscribe, I had to go back! Very, very well delivered. I would not want to play against you in any game involving bluffing and avoiding inadvertently giving away your hand.
Loved your hair growth in the opening and had a good laugh too. Buddy , you need to push the walls of your garage as I would love to see more bikes in there .
Hi I’ve got an old BSA Rocket gold star I’m rebuilding always loved it to ride but it’s hard to stop, I’ve been tempted to Change it from original with electronic ignition, disk on the front etc. I didn’t seem to mind when I was a youngster how dangerous it was but getting older I think I might have got a bit wiser, I’m thinking I might keep the BSA stock and the royal enfield is starting to look tempting as a second bike I used to think having two bikes was extravagant but you have inspired me. Thanks
Another great video! As a much younger man my motorcycle collection peaked at six, but as a recent retiree I'm happy with just a pair - a Honda CB500X and a BSA Formula Bantam racing bike (based on the 3-speed D1).
After watching this, I stood up and tripped over the beard I didn't previously have. Fascinating!.
Stuart, growing your hair back after watching this channel is the least of my worries. I am 87 and my wife is 82, we have just found out she is pregnant with twins! She has told me to stop watching your videos and sell all my bikes. To be perfectly honest it does make sense.

My wife said “what does he need so many bikes for.” I simply looked at her and said “because he can.”
Love it my man. Keep it up

I own two on your list and heartily agree with the RE Classic 500 choice, an Air Cooled T100 arrived last year and that's been very enjoyable. I only have three bikes no room for more. Motone have taken a lot of money off me lately but the parts are exquisite.
Beautiful collection!
I'd like to own 3 of these myself
Thanks for the recommendation. Just bought it.
Your bike collection is wow and the garage looks amazing. 👌
Thank you 👍
Stuards videos makes me happy always and very knowledgeable. Thanks stuard
Human nature never stops amazing me moaning about nothing instead of enjoying your vlogs . Thank you again for entertaining me .
At present I ride a Kawasaki KLE500, too tall for my short legs although I am 5'7" and 71
Nice collection
I fully understand how you feel about the bullet.
I ride my Pegasus editon bullet most of the time.
Love your videos Stuart. Hope your back goes ok soon
Brilliant video as always Stuart and that’s a very fine collection indeed, I’m so jealous 😌👍🏻
Love the dry humor uncle Stu and jealous of your machines, feel better soon back pain is not fun. 😎
Not sure if you've been asked this before but with the E10 now and during the dark wet winter days.... I take it the fleet won't get out much.....How will you combat the degrading of modern fuels in your bikes ?
fill with E5 before laying up.
Thanks
I agree 100% on the 500 classic
😂🤣 “spontaneous hair growth”... good one Uncle Stu! Keep on keeping on brother. 👍👍
I also own the great 2020 Classic 500 in chrome black, so very interested in your upcoming ABS issue and instrument light upgrades.
Cheers 🍻
What to say, very much happy for uncle stu & his stable.
Yeah. I love my Enfields. Have 2 classics. Trying to score an old 1930's Enfield too. Hope to be able to score that soon.
He has the three best RE motorcycles
Have been watching your videos for a while but subscribed today. Love your collection. Take care🙏
man you make me want to get a classic 500 so bad... it looks like a hoot to ride..
This is an impressive motorcycle collection. All that's missing is the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. 😉
I also own a Royal Enfield Classic 500. It is another feeling. I still have too much left to drive. Comment section is full of wisdom.
I guess this one was the most anticipated video!! Stay healthy and fit Uncle Stu!! high 5s and Hugs to you!
(virtual ones #socialdistancing)
Loved your hair growth in the opening and had a good laugh too.
Buddy , you need to push the walls of your garage as I would love to see more bikes in there .
Hi I’ve got an old BSA Rocket gold star I’m rebuilding always loved it to ride but it’s hard to stop, I’ve been tempted to Change it from original with electronic ignition, disk on the front etc.
I didn’t seem to mind when I was a youngster how dangerous it was but getting older I think I might have got a bit wiser,
I’m thinking I might keep the BSA stock and the royal enfield is starting to look tempting as a second bike I used to think having two bikes was extravagant but you have inspired me.
Thanks
Loved the classic and all the videos featuring it was eye opening on things I could improve. I have the 350 variant.
Cheers! Awaiting more videos :)
Looking forward to learning more about the continental GT 👍
Another great video! As a much younger man my motorcycle collection peaked at six, but as a recent retiree I'm happy with just a pair - a Honda CB500X and a BSA Formula Bantam racing bike (based on the 3-speed D1).
Love those enfields uncle stu 🤗❤️ happy riding ❤️
The garage is crowded with so many bikes.
I am very impressed with how clean the bikes look.
Need to take a master class from you. :D
thanks for my weekly feel good video .I just enjoy it as is great job ( bet you can tell I remember the 60/70s)
