I've watched many setup videos that tell you the best settings to use and that's it. It's so refreshing to have someone who explains how the different components affect the movement of the car. It really helps to know what to look out for when you test your changes. Thank you for taking the time to do things properly.
Great job on explaining how to setup your car. I have been struggling to get a perfect setup and refuse to pay for one. This has been a massive help, no other video like this. I thank you
Nice video! Especially the thing with rebound maximization and information of formula ford was super interesting. Would love to hear more about your knowledge!
Thank you so much for explaining all these settings. ACC is verry difficult, and it seems like all other ppl are buying setups, but as you show you can take a preset and go from there. I'll def. will try out these settings. Love your work. Love from Norway
Started playing ACC 6 or 7 months ago, and I could tell that this was something else than anything I ever tried before. BUT THE SETUP is such a huge part of the game, and navigating it as a non racer noob is soooo difficult. So Thank you very much for making it just a bit easier to understand😁👏🏻 Great explanations and some wicked driving. New sub gained👊🏻
@@Bratmouse1I've seen a lot of setup videos, yours was the most understandable for my newbie brain. Simple teaching, helped me understand a lot of things. I'm still 10s slower than the RL record on all tracks, but that's my skill issue, the setup helps a lot with consistency .
Really helped me the most when you explained how slow rebound works exactly, was very detailed and now I understand how they influence handling exactly. I knew they controlled the rate at which the shock decompresses but didn't understand how that translates to handling.
I realize you don't make them simply out of the kindness of your heart, that it's a way to help make more money, but still. . . your videos have helped me a lot since the update. I had watched hours of Aris's in-depth videos pre-update, and felt I was slowly but finally getting a grip on setups and how one tweak here or there can effect other settings. Then the update changed some things -- my tires went to Hades with a quickness until I found out about the new temperature range. As late to the party as I am, I can now relearn the setups, with a large chunk of my study time spent watching your stuff. Mucho appreciation-o.

A suggestion for future videos: When you're in the setups screen, place your PiP over the description on the right -- rather than hiding part of the menu itself. It's not a huge deal, and we can mostly see what you're talking about by looking at the menus on the right side of the screen. I believe it would keep viewers from having to take extra time to figure out what you're doing/discussing when the cursor is hidden behind your square (it's distracting, at best -- I had to rewind a couple/three times in order to see what you were explaining), while also helping make you appear more professional. Just a thought. If you've already addressed this, and I've just not seen it yet, then disregard my last.

Question from a new entry in sim racing ... it's better to get a 3 pedals or 3 pedals setup? I'll mainly race with GT and Formula series, but occasionally I also race Rally or Street Cars alike and therefore I know I would need the H Shifter therefore the clutch. However, I cannot get around the 3 pedals setup since I like to use 2 feet (break and gas) ... in the 3 pedals the break is too close to the gas and my left leg is angled making uncomfortable after 30 minutes of race .. any recommendations?
