very nice upgrades. im planning buying a new fork but im limited in selections so i wonder if its compatible with tapered forks when applied with 1/1.8 converter adapter. reply if u know. have a safe and fun ride!

Rockshox Judy TK solo air 120mm front fork (barely driven in, bought in 2022) New rear brake pads. Iridium controls 730mm. SPANK handle with red pinches. Force headset with red rings
hi i really loce your bike and i have the same model but i have it in size L and i was wondering if the dropper post with 31.6 is good for me too cause some say that it depends on the size. thanks 🙏
Question if it is really more sensible financially to pull those upgrades than buying a new bike with those already pre-installed? Is the preformance that much better? Did you also change the derailleur?
The performance is amazing out of the box due to the clutch derailleur and instead of buying an 'entry full sus' for around $800/1000 without a clutch, its been an amazing bike for me, only problem ive had is the stock plastic bushings. Changed to metal bushings and never had a problem since
Hi! I'm about to purchase a new bike for myself. Can you help me a bit if possible? I'm looking at a Giant Talon 3, Specialized Rockhopper Sport and the Rockrider ST540v2. Which one would you choose? How's your ST530S frame holding up so far? Thanks for your answer in advance!
Frame comes with a life time guarantee and is made in same factory as specialised and trek I've heard , mines holding up well ditch the original tyres as soon as u can though
@@stinkyfinn6977 Thank you very much for your detailed help. I saw that they are made from the same aluminium like giant and specialized, 6061. I will buy it then. Have a great day bro. I owe you one.
@@Version-ru1mj you welcome and glad I could help some I think you could do a lot worse than a Btwin rockrider and hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine
@@stinkyfinn6977 A last quick question, how did you find the stock xcr fork on the bike though? I would upgrade it in the future, but do you think it's the same xcr fork like on a trek or a specialized bike?
@@Version-ru1mj mine came with the Uturn suspension, which is mediocre at best but probly on par with suntour xcm , I've used suntour Xcr and Xct , the xct are just springs in tubes and if I'm remembering right my xcr wher decent enough and lighter , front shocks are on my list of things to change on my Btwin and not realy because they are bad just because I want better 😀

Im not sure about the adapter thing, due to the frame is straight. So take a look at the Rockshox Judy fork 👍🏻

What's with the stupid small handlebar attachment above the stem?
Apart from that majority of upgrades look good.
Does the fork still function well?
Hi which rear shock is it and whats the size
Is it worth buying this bike for doing jumps and stuff?
Ive had mine for about 6 month and all i do is jump it. Not a problem apart from stock plastic bushings wearing down
