@@born4_mtb I should definitely go for one trail video, just yesterday I made the first trials in Zurich where I live and the feedback I received was very positive.. Much more confident compare to the ancient 26 hardtail I used to ride.. Comfortable and stable.. My friend who ride it also (owns a 29' fullsus carbon) he mentioned a wider bar would help me to steer better, at the moment I think it's fine.. Keep the good job got a sub waiting for the part 2 cheers!
@@Ramon-bd1ii ohh man, i chose a different bike over this because i thought it could not handle rough terrain. I chose the Silverback Stride Elite. Much better specs but i wanted a cheap dual sus. Its quite unfortunate.
its ok i bought one todeay fr and it is nice but at first couple of km are worse at breaking bc it doesnt break as much as after like 20 km and the rear suspension is nive it is air suspension so you can do it harder or softer but on this bike you cant lock rear suspencion only front suspesion wich is spring not air but you can lock it but cant make it much harder or softer
It's Decathlon own branded suspension fork, which is currently not available to purchase due to all the sh*t that happened around the world. Decathlon can only supply there bikes with the fork and keep aftermarket stock for warranty or replacement. If you own a Rockrider that needed potential replacement, then suggest you Google Search for Rockshox TK silver suspension fork as an upgrade or replacement. Suntour fork is another budget option.
The fork itself is quite serviceable for a budget fork but if you have issues you are not experienced in servicing yourself then try and get a Rockshox £200rrp TK Silver which is much higher quality sus fork that uses a straight steerer tube as opposed to most modern Sus forks that use tapered steerer.
If you are between 2 sizes: Choose the smaller size for easier steering (easier to handle) and comfort (straighter back). Choose the larger size for easier pedalling with a more stretched-out position (position more suited to performance).
on the end of the video there, you showed the rear suspension being demonstrated. I am probably wrong but it looked like it was bottoming out when you were doing the jumps.
Its a European bike, I believe the frame is made in Portugal, so high quality. It is distributed in England though. Decathlon has like 8 stores in the UK
@@silverrbike sorry but my 540 s the red One came with a sticker That says made in Portugal... If you research a bit you Will find out That most of the frames MTB and others were made in Portugal... And yes we have some good quality frames bilted here In Portugal
I have one problem with this video, You are giving a poor example by not wearing a helmet. There are also youngsters watching this. And trying to do jumps on their bikes without helmets, because you don’t wear one.
Nothing wrong with this video when there is no legal requirement to wear a bicycle helmet.......it is a recommendation but not a legal requirement under Governing law. Secondly if you bothered to do your homework, this video doesn't need to meet under TH-cam strict video content requirements for kids watching this video. So your kids shouldn't be able to watch this video if you have content restrictions in place. Save you safely rant the next time you walk down the streets and see the odd kids doing wheelies and stunts without due care for their own safety and the safety of others.
I must say the look of the bike is so clean!
Yeah man it's a really nice bike 😅
Keep it clean too :P
Thanks bro smooth ride, nice shots, good review, thinking of this week to buy it
Thanks, we're thinking of doing a part 2 for different uses like trails

i have this bike but the pedal grip is horrible, which ones do u recommend me (i need orange pedals)
IS this fork suspension good or not
Very comfortable suspension, nice lockout, shame the back has no lockout but it's no big deal
Can you put different rear suspension?
I have this bike , my first full suspension set up . It’s great for the cost and at 69 years old I’m not into radical stunts :-)
Its good for trails and regular off road riding too, very comfortable
Hi i am looking into this bike and ik its a bit late but has the chain ever fallen off while riding?
I have this bike for a while now its really nice chain doesnt fall off

Does the rear shock has any damping or is it just an air spring?
It has damping plus u control it with air
It’s a 120 mm X-FUSION E1 air shock, it has damping but no lockout
could you give me a full name of front suspension? I really need it, thank you very much, i left subscription and like.

It’s stock suspension
Does it have fluid brakes or cable brakes
hydraulic brakes
Hydraulic (fluid) brakes
So is it good may be i buy one
Yeah it's a great bike
Would this be a nice bike for a heavy bloke (130Kg)? For light rides, no fancy stuff like jumping and hard trails.
Yes, you’d just need to make sure the rear air suspension is pumped up to the suitable pressure, there’s a handy chart on the suspension

M - 165-174cm : 14.45 kg

XL - 185-200cm : 14.65 kg

Has it got air shocks front and back
It has coil in the front and air in the rear bud
Front has lockout, back doesn't unfortunately
Is the bike good for racing in woods
Yes, it's comfy, fast and reasonably light

Yeah we forgot to adjust it for a heavier rider
It can go a lot higher in pressure
@@born4_mtb can it lock out?
@@MacSaffer if you put enough pressure in it (that's rated for it) it is basically the same as it being locked out (i have the bike)
What size is your bike?
This one is a medium frame with 27.5" Wheels
