    Straight up bro this is awesome, I rarely come across guide/tutorial vids that help explain how to run things this well, been putting off connecting the Sub37 to Cubase for years and with this vid I can use all the same steps and tools to finally use the Moog for smoother writing and creative means, big thanks!
    Would be cool to see a vid of how you get the arp/sequencer presets on the sub37 to sync and work properly with the DAW, that's all I'm seeming to struggle with now.

      Will work on it. I believe if you have the sub37 editor it should be easier, I'll see.

    Have you experienced the problem when using the arpache 5 in the midi insert and record an arpeggiated midi pattern in the project editor and then replay that midi pattern but then the midi will not trigger your external synth to play back the arpeggiation?

    Hi Keyflo, thx for the video. everything so far good. have fireface 400 and the moog subsequent 37 in the front of input 1. all works only I have audio delay when I entered the midi notes. What buffer are you working on? 128, 256, or 512 samples?

      @@KeyfloMusic 128. I also tried 48, it gets a little better, but it still lags behind. :-(

      @@JANDEVICE hmm, I am not sure why that is. It could be your computer as well, what are the resources like? Also what plugins are you running in the daw? Some plugins have higher latency values that others.

      @@KeyfloMusic hey man it's crazy. i still had cubase 10.5 last version. now I've updated to 11, assigned the sub37 again as an external instrument with ubs midi, etc. as in your video and everything is great. no latency. hot. thx so much bro. for your help and stay healthy. love greetings jan ;-) and please more cool videos from you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great vid thanks! How do connect the sub 37 to the computer? 1/4 inch cable, midi or usb cable?

    • @KeyfloMusic
      @KeyfloMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      USB cable to the computer.
      1/4" cable to an input on your audio interface.

      Keyflo Music Thank you again! What are the main benefits you see when recording the moog or any other synth as an internal instrument vs just micing the cab?

    • @KeyfloMusic
      @KeyfloMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RedWolf5 you can edit the Midi information if needed before its printed to audio. And if you're lucky enough to have an editor, you can automate the editor which will be communicating with the moog.

      @@KeyfloMusic Thank you again! Should I connect the moog to a line input or analog on my interface? also is it possible to sync the audio of the moog to the tempo of your song as you are playing? for example when you are running the sequencer?

    Have you had any issues with adding another of the same external instrument to record a second sound from the Moog? It wont add the same external instrument. Just loads a VST track and wont let me set the output to the external instrument again.

    • @KeyfloMusic
      @KeyfloMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The moog only has one output. If it had multiple outputs you'd be able to do it.

    • @Skiroy
      @Skiroy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KeyfloMusic so do i have to print the audio, remove the external instrument off that track to then use it to record a second track?

    • @KeyfloMusic
      @KeyfloMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Skiroy you print the audio, then create a new layer to create a new melody on the same external instrument track.
