I had to make this video because ring deserved better, the game was just TOO good and there is NO way I'm gonna let another awesome game get artificially memory holed like so many others, at the very least we can preserve the artwork of the game if not the entire thing

Near the end of the video I mention the pirate airship as a possible future update, but it turns out It was in the game in season 3 (the best season) but only for a SHORT event, which I think I maybe played ONCE (I found a screenshot of me droppin in) and just forgot about. I played the game like crazy in s3 which was pirate mode but just don't remember the airship event. It worked like a plane or battle bus spawn. I thought maybe it was for a future update since the next character was a robot, maybe they were bringing back robot pirate mode in a different way. Turns out they were going to run the event for a week but it kinda sucked so they removed it early, here's the announcement: store.steampowered.com/news/app/755790/view/4033492738911613266
Thank you for making this video. Its good to know that i'm not the only one who really likes this game and hopes it can be saved somehow. To me, this was the best battle royal game.
I hope one day someone bring this back. Doesn't matter if it's only offline, this is one of my favorite games and it's sad lose a good game this way. ROE was the only BR i really enjoyed.
I don't get why people prefer PUBG instead of this game, I mean ROE it's done way better at moves gun control and has better way to move on the map without using vehicles
PUBG didn't change and improve much over the years, still looks like dog shit, ROE looked amazing from the launch. PUBG is a running simulator
I loved this game. There were more players in Europe than in America and Asia. I bought a more powerful computer because of this game, which was the only battle royale that held my interest for years. I've been playing it almost since the beginning
True! I had a shitty laptop and bough a new pc just to play it! Then 1 year later, it ends... I cried so much, it was my favorite battle royale game

Now I understand all those highlight videos you uploaded. I never heard of this game because I don't play BRs. It's always a shame to see hard work just disappear to thin air when money runs out. I hate this timeline where a lot of multiplayer games are just fucking gone as soon as money runs out.
One of the best games i've ever played. I played Super People 2 for awhile which was okay for awhile but they got rid of that game too. Even if that game was still up it would play that too. It was temporary fix for sure. If there is some kind of petition for either game going around let me know i would totally sign it.
Game was incredible. It’s just lack of players. Poor advertising. Characters designed were the best 😢

Love this! Esp your reference to up-duding as contributing to game’s downfall. When I was ‘younger’ I too felt the need to be accepted in the crowd and follow the latest fashions, ..er, games. And yeah, about the need to be stimulated afresh. I wiped my tears and hung on to this game till the end, as did many of the die-hard. I noticed the majority of the lingering loyalists tended to be more mature, polite, and fair-play minded. Even with bots this game was a work of art. Looking fwd to your subsequent videos about ROE.

isn''t any chance to make a pirate server to play this game? i wasnțt very good at it, but i used to play it with 3 of my friends and now we can't decide on a game that we all like. it really was my favorite all time game. i sometimes just logged in just to walk around that gorgeous world and look at the great sights.
I hate this about online only or live service games. I want to play Infinite Crisis (DC's MOBA) again, but you just can't anymore.
Man, you got some good stuff, RoE was an amazing game, I miss it so much.
23:05 the blimp was actually in the game for a little while when there was this wacky event going on with the treasure chests and pirate ship, they temporarily used the blimp as an airplane like how PUBG worked, people didn't like it much (or any of the content in that update, the pistol fights were fun on the ship but the loot was wayy too OP)
I posted a comment on this vid explaining this a lil bit, didn't have it pinned before but now I do. I actually played a few games when that was shortly active but just completely forgot about it and didn't realize till after when I was looking through my old screenshots and saw the blimp lmao

BringBackROE. We love this game so much. up til now we have not uninstalled it in our steam library. started playing it from the europa til the last season15. The only BR i spent most of my time than playing other games
That's an interesting opinion. I agree with most of it. I think they made a bad decision of making the Dione map only playable for hours a week instead of leaving it as a map to choose to play. I started playing ROE for this specific map, because it was so unique. I still played all the way until Vera and after that, but I always missed Dione. And I could not play every day when it was unlocked. It had very cool features, sadly the lack of marketing and some bad decision-making led to its fate.
ring had some really hashed out movement i loved the prone to sitting 360 pivoting it looked so good RIP Roe !

I was in the xentax threads to be able to get the models, I was only able to get Lynn, in fact I downloaded a rar and saw username, I couldn't get all the models for personal reasons, now I'm looking at the tools you left to be able to extract SFC files
it's sad to see this game go :( i enjoyed it as a more casual than pubg when i just wanted to relax but stull play a BR
are there some people willing to write a server emulator? I honestly only have some experience in server administration in general, and javascript coding, but hey maybe together we can bring it back

I installed that game way back when it was an April fools joke but never ended up playing it haha I like the gunplay of enlisted so it is probably good too since that game is what enlisted is based off of.
