The Combat Evolved campaign would have been one mission long and consisted of the Master Chief and Noble 6 taking turns curbstomping Covenant leadership. Wouldn't have even had time to release the Flood.

If noble team is alive to that point, there is nothing stopping them from boarding the pelican with Keyes while others sacrifice themselves on the MAC gun. More, with Kat still alive she could probably help in some technical way, maybe even automate the Mac’s firing algorithms or something

Y'know. Thinking on it more... You could have had it where Arbiter still falls down to be captured by the gravemind. Just have him get tossed down by Tartarus for failing to get the icon from the humans, or something like that. The Arbiter doesn't strike me as someone who'd engage on a full fireteam of spartans alone. The Brutes would still, and more than likely still fail. This would still allow most of Halo 3's story to unfold like normal. With only the most Zealous of the Covenant sticking with Truth, and the rest realizing the truth from the Arbiter's prospective.
I'm actually not sure all of Noble could take Tartarus. The shield that's invincible unless somebody hits the hammer three times with a beam rifle is a very specific gimmicky boss mechanic.
Huh? The whole reason the Gravemind let Chief and the Arbiter live, was because Truth had the Icon and was planning on using it. The big, disastrous twist of Gravemind infecting Chief and Cortana didn't happen because the Arbiter wasn't there. If he was, be would just meet the same fate as Chief and Cortana. There's no winning for Arby or Chief and Cortana

10:37, no way would the UNSC allow for 7 Spartans to leave Earth while it is being invaded, Miranda would be allow to leave with just the Chief since he has Cortana, while Noble Team would be spread out to help defend Earth. That would mean the rest of Halo 2 would play out the same, with Halo 3 having most of the changes in the timeline.
The unsc allowed all the Spartans on earth to leave during the invasion in the actual timeline lol apart from the Spartan 3s deployed to London all the 2's left, (blue team) 3 to onyx and 1 to delta halo (chief)

just 1 little detail you overlooked for Halo 2-3, immediately when Regret jumped away from New Mombasa, and parts of Truths fleet arrived to earth at the same time, the Brutes started to kill the Elites, so Schism is prob still happening

Its possible a Schism could still occur, as Brute Chieftans would learn their leader had died while the “cowardly” Arbiter yet lived. If the Arbiter does manage to copy his predecessor and take Miranda Captive for the index and flees the scene, it could give the Gravemind reason to spare Chief.
What if the S-II augmentation process had a 100% success rate? Or if all original 300 prospective S-II candidates Halsey originally wanted before the budget cuts were taken and trained?

Don't forget about Halsey with the Spartans inside of Onyx. They probably could have repopulated given that Onyx was supposed to have supplies and tools for repopulation.
Honestly I think it led up pretty decently until the part of the arbiter bring killed. The man was incredibly smart AND The Top leader of an entire covenant fleet for a reason, so after seeing the destruction a group of spartans caused, imo I think he would stay back. Tartarus and the others would still die but I think Arbiter would definitely get out of there to try and either steal the artifact, or at the very least demand to know why Tartarus is there when the arbiter was supposed to reclaim the key. Thus showing that something is off and allowing for either Noble 6 to still kill him, or they capture him to figure out what is going on and why he wanted the key
While I do agree that Thel's strategist side would consider a retreat, you gotta remember he's "the Arbiter" now And the only way he can regain any amount of his honor back is by either fulfilling the Prophets' orders or die trying

In all likelihood, the Ark probably didn't have any flood on prior to the Gravemind showing up with High Charity. It's very clear that the Forerunner intended for the Ark to be a safe haven from the Flood outside the galaxy. Even the name "Ark" is a clue of this.
Actually it would technically be safe because Noble Six wasn't even a character until Halo:Reach. Doing so would have to retcon the original trilogy 😂. Lovely enough this video is just a very likely what if

Optimistic ending: The remaining humans search the forerunner archives and discover the the cylixes on Zeta Halo and slowly reseed the galaxy that way. Seriously though I got whiplash from how quickly the tone changed we literally went from Reach and CE good ending to creepypasta bad ending

I feel like in Halo 2, 6 would stick with the rest of Noble team, then later dropped bit deeper in New Mombasa (Unlike Chief, where his dropship crash landed on the outskirts) trying to board Regret ship. When Regret's ship about to jump, Chief goes back to In Amber Clad like in the game, but the Noble team didn't have time to escape. Surviving the slipspace explosion, Noble team tried to help marine evacuate and even help defending ONI HQ and/or retrieving the Superintendent with the help of the ODST. While all that happen, Chief story would still be the same like in the game after In Amber Clad arrive in 03. Not saying the story bad, it just Flood taking over earth and Chief died leave a bit of bad taste in my mouth and just wanted to share my version of "What would happen"

Fun, though I disagree with the fate of the Arbiter and Chief. Upon arriving to Delta Halo, I think the more tactically sound option chosen by NOBLE is to split the Spartans into 2 fireteams, with Carter leading Emile, Kat and Jorge to the Library, leaving Miranda and Sgt. Johnson behind aboard the Amber Clad (because why send your ranking officers when you have Spartans). Chief would take Six and Jun on the assassination mission to kill Mercy, and with Jun's master marksman abilities to remove the jackal snipers, and Chief and Six ganging up on Mercy with twice the punches, the whole effort would be expediated so Fireteam Chief would be able to exfil from the temple via Pelican before High Charity and Truth arrive to glass it. Meanwhile, Fireteam Carter retrieves the Index to then encounter the Arbiter, but rather than a prolonged fight, they retreat when Tartarus arrives to reinforce Arby. Fireteam Carter manage to escape with Arby and Tartarus and Brutes in pursuit, and the Brutes again betray Arby for the failure to secure the Icon. I still think Arby survives this, and him and Half-Jaw kill Tartarus early. Both Spartan Teams then return to the Clad either before or during the attempted Flood capture, but manage to repel the parasites because Sgt. Johnson was aboard to ensure the ship doesn't fall into the Gravemind's tentacles. With Index secure, and with prior Alpha Halo experience, the gang decides to mix things up a little by using In Amber Clad's reactor to blow up the ring, escaping orbit on the remaining Pelicans. Added bonus is that High Charity is right there in orbit, so the shards of the ring basically destroy or disable the Holy City. Gravemind and Flood problem is deleted from the plot. Mass chaos as the Brute and Elite ships battle amidst the debris fields, but the Elites also have the Arbiter and aren't also distracted with a Flood infested High Charity since the Gravemind never made it aboard without the Clad. Truth still escapes aboard the Keyship, but the Elites have quick victory against the Brutes, and make an alliance with the Demon-filled Pelicans floating in space. It would be a little more uncomfortable, since Arby didn't have the Gravemind/2401 Penitent Tangent to reaffirm what the Heretic Elite told him, but the loss of the Elite Council and total backstab of the Prophets might be enough to make friends from enemies. They all travel back to Earth together, with the full Elite fleet instead of just Chief alone, arriving to chase Truth through the Portal, reaching the Ark, and basically repeating Halo 3 with the exclusion of the Flood, so Halo 3 is 4 missions shorter, maximum happy ending.
Honestly, Arbiter surviving halo 2 to create that alliance is probably THE single most imporant event in halo. Without him, Earth can't get glassed by R'tas when the flood are released, and the Galaxy is wiped out by humanity at the end of this alternate Halo 3. This mean that yes, arbiter is the most important character in Halo history, he literally saved the galaxy and no one really recognises that .
Well the only thing is, if keys didn't get captured. They weren't of heard about the *weapons cash* lol But cortana did hack the battle network So it's possible she could have picked something up
11:11 Not to question this what if but I feel like this could probably go more differently than you think (feel free to prove me wrong on this but I just find it hard to believe that tartarus would lose this battle) Maybe I'm over thinking but Tartarus isn't a normal brute, he's a powerful chieftain, he even has a unique overshield (which to me still seems like a precursor to the invincibility equipment in halo 3 but for him it recharges unlike the one in Halo 3) that only a beam rifle seems to be able to disable temporarily, not even an energy sword or any other weapon like the plasma rifle seems to have any effect, maybe standard bullets could break it but we've never seen that happen so it could still have no effect, also his gravity hammer is unique compared to the gravity hammers we usually encounter, its more powerful as well AND it can pull in targets which I don't think the standard hammer can do. (I want to remind everyone in the comments that despite how much people joke at Tartarus being a 'weak' brute compared to Atriox, that he is still a very powerful brute chieftain, so and so that he could easily take down a single spartan with ease.) Bare in mind tartarus was already in the room with the arbiter when he was preparing to attack miranda and johnson, he was just waiting for the right moment to betray the arbiter, but seeing as in this what if noble team is there he'll immediately assist the Arbiter (in addition to having a brute squad with him) So logically this could still end with the great schism still happening, noble team is a strong spartan fireteam but they aren't invincible, noble 6 is a highly effect lethal vector but I doubt even he could turn the tide of battle in noble teams favour, the arbiter could likely attack from the shadows with his cloak and target spartans like Jun and Jorge to render their heavy and sniper support useless leaving them open to overwhelming attacks. And for the sake of everyones love for noble 6, Tartarus casually yeets him into the hole and soon after the arbiter joins him after revealing his true intent to him. Sidenote: Brutes aren't no push over's either, they can easily go toe to toe with a spartan. Sure noble team has fought plenty of brutes on reach but they haven't fought against an EXTREMELY powerful brute chieftain alongside brutes AND an arbiter simultaneously. I mean if you consider that Atriox took down 3 spartans II's without even trying AND bodying the Master Chief WITHOUT even trying as well then I think Tartarus could still come out on top in this battle and it could still end with arbiter falling into the hole.

Came to agree on that. Earth has all of noble and grace? She died in first strike but I know they're were two spartans plus the pelican pilot who died in the slip space world fight. Don't see why they werent deployed like blue team. Making the defense of earth much much quicker or even sense they had so many Spartans they pushed the assault on Regrets ship much sooner before he can retreat and potential relaunch operation red flag.
Couple of orphaned plot beats i noticed: - If Keyes was never captured, how did they learn about the existence of the Silent Cartographer? I seem to recall it was first mentioned after he's freed from the brig. - What happened to Anton and Li? They disappear from your narrative when talking about First Strike, without elaborating the battle in the slipspace anomaly; a battle, I imagine, that would have developed fairly differently had they had Noble Team as backup. The UNSC personnel in general is also greatly boosted, as more people survived Installation 04, so it's no longer JUST the Spartans. - Related to this, what happens to Jacob Keyes? He disappears from the narrative after the end of Halo CE, with his role from that point going forward being taken over by his daughter. I'm also curious as to what would be your take on the relationship between the IIs and the IIIs during these events. I imagine Jorge would be some sort of a peacekeeper between both generations.
Why would they all survive halo 1 and 2 against the flood and covenant, why would they not raid the truth and reconciliation. Why would spark not tell rtas the truth like he did with the arbiter. Why would Tartarus and arbiter both die . Why would chief still be by himself on delta Why would the ark and halos not have reseeding protocols, wouldn’t they still have the data from the first reseeding
Unfortunately at 17:40 you mention that they would find Cortanas message. They wouldn't. Cortana is still with the Gravemind on Delta Halo and I doubt he would let her go. The cruiser that goes through seems to be from the High Charity fleet, which Cortana wouldn't have access to because she's stuck on Delta Halo, and only the In Amber Clad outbreak allowing the Gravemind to form on High Charity would that be possible. But still. Shenanigans Overall cracked theory, but good on you piecing it all together 😂
I still make tributes to noble 6 and see many theories about the noble 6 cave theory. Jun was the only one who survived and still needs to return in the next Halo game. You know what they say, "Spartans Never Die, They're Only Missing in Action".
If Noble team protected Miranda and Johnson in the Library during Halo 2 then its safe to assume that In-Amber Clad never fell to the flood because they never would have gotten captured and abandoned it. Also the Great Schism would’ve still happened although the alliance with Humanity wouldn’t have. After the death of regret, Truth still puts the brutes in charge but the Elites would fight back however still believe in the Great Journey
But The Heretic from Halo 2 would still be running around stirring up Trouble, he already had a large enough amount of Converted Troops that the Prophets sent the Arbiter to kill him. The Schism was already under way before The Chief got involved. No idea how but im betting The Heritic would team up with The Chief against the Arbiter, then move ahead in the Arbiters place in the game.
Awesome! I always think if there's an alternative universe if the Noble Team did survive which could change the rest of the timeline in other installments. HiddenXperia, you really making this more awesome, who knows if there will be other what-if scenarios for any other characters did survive throughout in Halo franchise.
I don't think your judgement about Halo 2 is good, it does not make sense nor does it make a good game/story. I think the primary point of failure starts with the Index. Thel isn't a moron, he wouldn't attempt to take on 6 Demons, especially after he was almost killed during a duel with one during the Cole Protocol, Thel would instead contact Tartarus who would bring a much larger force with him, this would overwhelm noble team, causing them to retreat, and the story stays the same from this point, Tartarus betrays Thel after securing the index, leading the gravemind to the same course of action.

The only reason Lord Hood went to the ark is because the master chief was coercing him. Also, in my headcannon Noble 6 and Chief were the only hyperlethals. All the other ones were good but not as good as them. Pair Noble 6 with a smart ai too and pair him with chief and cortana, CE, Halo 2 and halo 3 would go by much faster, or more effeciently. 343 is the only people who made every spartan "hyperlethal" anyways have a good day
@@jxstbakerproductions yeah, the only parts that really make sense are the Halo CE parts, but I think there was some errors there too. like why would captain Keyes take noble team to secure the weapons cache? clearly Keyes didn't think it was a very important or defended after all he only took a single squad there, why would he suddenly take a squad of Spartans to something he thought was only worth taking as many marines too? I left it out on my comment but that logic also applies to Miranda attempting to secure the Index, why would Miranda take the entirety of noble team when for whatever reason, she thought only taking Johnson was enough?
I like thinking that Noble team died on Reach, *noble* souls were lost on Reach and even if the planet was fully destroyed their stories live on. I think a Halo Reach anniversary game would be pretty cool, and adding a different ending in so it was confirmed that Noble 6 died/survived and where Reach survived too.
Thats really an interesting timeline, but for me that timeline ended, when all spartans boarded keyes pelican, cause now nobody is mannig that AA-turret and the PoA is just gonna get shot down, end, credits.
I agree with everything up until the point in Pre Halo 2 where Fred, Kelly, and Linda are split off from Chief to do their missions around the Earth. I don't see why ONI would split up Blue team instead of just sending the entirety of Nobel Team to do those jobs.

@Wasted117. i see what you're saying, but who was gonna pick him up after the gun? I think the autumn was is full scramble mode after that shot. After all you have to keep in mind those were rockets attached to the bottom of the autumn which means everything from our prospective was probably a good a good 3 to 5 miles away from where Noble 6 was standing for safety reasons and you were also up pretty high. The ship was in the process of being sealed or already sealed. I think his best bet would have just been not to fight but to seek shelter. I mean, if he knew about it, he could have escaped to the castle base somehow, like how Dr. Halsey, did that's probably the only way he makes it into the rest of the lore. Idk how far he was from Castle, though.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t think 6 would’ve had a similar experience to Chief in the library at all. Chief himself had actually quite a bit of trouble with the amount of flood inside of the library, a Spartan 2- and more than that, humanities best. I love noble 6 but he would NOT last too long by himself against the flood in the library.
I disagree with what happens on Earth - they would just overload the covenant ship, like Miranda said at the start of the mission. Hopefully that destroys the city & the infection.
I disgree, Noble 6 gets infected in the Library 100%, he's not as lucky as Chief and he doesn't have Cortana, in the Flood novel Chief is literally centimeters away from being infected and it's only because of Cortana's intervention by shunting power from his suit to fry it that he survives.
Only problem i have with this is they might break noble team into 2 seperate teams, 2 with chief and and 2 with carter once they reach the halo operations. Keys might have 2 seperate teams doing other things. What we did on the first halo, we had to do out of necessity due to being only 1 spartan. But if you had a second team they would have the liesure of having secondary objectives. Maybe even stealing a covenant ship and bypass asscendant justices capture. All the same during the battle of earth after the defense of cairo they may split the team yet again and noble may have been sent on a seperate mission away from what chief was doing. If not leaving him with noble 6 and emile while the other team goes to defend oni headquarters or something and bump into alpha 9. And who knows if any spartans would have been with chief or with commander keys on delta halo, maybe they might have been sent ahead to secure the control room on a seperate mission while keys gets the index, chief kills the prophet and is captured by the gravemind and sent to high charity, while (i would assume) noble 6 and emile are chilling at a loved beachside escape in the mountains waiting for tarter sauce to show up with johnson, keys and the index.
this is honestly what we need man, "What if" scenarios are some of the most interesting things you can do when a franchise is starved of good content. Just look at star wars what if creators, they're doing very well. I hope you do more what if's in the future because this one is awesome even if everyone dies in the end.
(SPOILERS) I enjoyed this video as the ending kinda shocked me as well and I believe you made some really good points however I would like to make a few points that would go against some of your. For example, due to the Great Schism being a key factor for High Charity's fall to the Flood, without it it could have been more probable that it could have been contained due to Covenant technology. Another point I'd like to make is that the key ship that went to the Ark was definitely not alone as they would have had a lot of ships (hell maybe even more as they have more resources available due to no great schism) to escort it + also the leader experience of Half Jaw and his intelligent strategies. As a result of this it could be a possibility that the UNSC's remaining forces would be completely decimated by the Covenant along with Noble team. Therefore in this ending, the UNSC and human race would likely be nearly or completely wiped out, High Charity never falls as the great schism never happens as Tartarus is not available to use to ignite the plans set out by the prophets, the Covenant control the Ark and also the flood threat would likely be at least contained by the Covenant due to their high energy technology available.
Also as a similar video suggestion: how do you think Noble Team (either the full team or individual Spartans) would have handled the events of each Gears of War campaign? To make things more fair for the Locust/Lambent/Swarm, let's assume Noble Team have unshielded Mark IV Mjolnir and without B312...

I thought Cortana explained in Halo 2 that Master Chief was just a diversion so the Gravemind could get In Amber Clad aboard High Charity while the Covenant were distracted/confused. I think if that’s the case, it’d just mean Gravemind needs a different lie to tell Master Chief to go kill stuff. I think if there were truly no other reason to send Chief to High Charity, you have it down 100%. Either way, I loved the video! Very fun idea and great work as always!

I think chief would make it out ngl, just like in that one book where Cortana over loads his shields to burn the infection. Something that would be cool would be chief saying. “Ima piss this thing off”, then over charge and gameplay wise your in an escape scene running from the grave mind.
Point that was kind of missed. Miranda originally sends Chief to the ship where Cortana's message is to overload its engine core. I'm not sure how big of an explosion that would cause but it does imply that brand of force would be accepted to eliminate the flood.
You better hope to god none of those Spartans don’t get infected. More Spartans, especially 3s, engaging the flood especially when they don’t know what it is. That could hurt way more then it helps.
We made it just over 3 minutes in. Chief only survived in the books due to Cortana doing a localised charge from the shields on the infection form trying to squirm through his armor. At best, one or two of Noble team die from this incident..if not all.
Jorge had the easiest opportunity to survive... his armour was fine if I remember so all he needed was for one of the regular soldiers to survive the battle to sacrifice themselves since none of them had a way out without Mjolnir.

Y'know. Thinking on it more... You could have had it where Arbiter still falls down to be captured by the gravemind. Just have him get tossed down by Tartarus for failing to get the icon from the humans, or something like that. The Arbiter doesn't strike me as someone who'd engage on a full fireteam of spartans alone. The Brutes would still, and more than likely still fail. This would still allow most of Halo 3's story to unfold like normal. With only the most Zealous of the Covenant sticking with Truth, and the rest realizing the truth from the Arbiter's prospective.
I'm actually not sure all of Noble could take Tartarus. The shield that's invincible unless somebody hits the hammer three times with a beam rifle is a very specific gimmicky boss mechanic.

10:37, no way would the UNSC allow for 7 Spartans to leave Earth while it is being invaded, Miranda would be allow to leave with just the Chief since he has Cortana, while Noble Team would be spread out to help defend Earth. That would mean the rest of Halo 2 would play out the same, with Halo 3 having most of the changes in the timeline.

There are a lot of questionable decisions that just happen with HiddenXperia's alternative timeline... Like Arbiter randomly attacking a room full of Spartans or that both Tartarus and the Arbiter together would outright lose.

Its possible a Schism could still occur, as Brute Chieftans would learn their leader had died while the “cowardly” Arbiter yet lived. If the Arbiter does manage to copy his predecessor and take Miranda Captive for the index and flees the scene, it could give the Gravemind reason to spare Chief.

Honestly I think it led up pretty decently until the part of the arbiter bring killed. The man was incredibly smart AND The Top leader of an entire covenant fleet for a reason, so after seeing the destruction a group of spartans caused, imo I think he would stay back. Tartarus and the others would still die but I think Arbiter would definitely get out of there to try and either steal the artifact, or at the very least demand to know why Tartarus is there when the arbiter was supposed to reclaim the key. Thus showing that something is off and allowing for either Noble 6 to still kill him, or they capture him to figure out what is going on and why he wanted the key

In all likelihood, the Ark probably didn't have any flood on prior to the Gravemind showing up with High Charity. It's very clear that the Forerunner intended for the Ark to be a safe haven from the Flood outside the galaxy. Even the name "Ark" is a clue of this.

I feel like in Halo 2, 6 would stick with the rest of Noble team, then later dropped bit deeper in New Mombasa (Unlike Chief, where his dropship crash landed on the outskirts) trying to board Regret ship. When Regret's ship about to jump, Chief goes back to In Amber Clad like in the game, but the Noble team didn't have time to escape.
Surviving the slipspace explosion, Noble team tried to help marine evacuate and even help defending ONI HQ and/or retrieving the Superintendent with the help of the ODST. While all that happen, Chief story would still be the same like in the game after In Amber Clad arrive in 03.
Not saying the story bad, it just Flood taking over earth and Chief died leave a bit of bad taste in my mouth and just wanted to share my version of "What would happen"

Fun, though I disagree with the fate of the Arbiter and Chief. Upon arriving to Delta Halo, I think the more tactically sound option chosen by NOBLE is to split the Spartans into 2 fireteams, with Carter leading Emile, Kat and Jorge to the Library, leaving Miranda and Sgt. Johnson behind aboard the Amber Clad (because why send your ranking officers when you have Spartans). Chief would take Six and Jun on the assassination mission to kill Mercy, and with Jun's master marksman abilities to remove the jackal snipers, and Chief and Six ganging up on Mercy with twice the punches, the whole effort would be expediated so Fireteam Chief would be able to exfil from the temple via Pelican before High Charity and Truth arrive to glass it. Meanwhile, Fireteam Carter retrieves the Index to then encounter the Arbiter, but rather than a prolonged fight, they retreat when Tartarus arrives to reinforce Arby. Fireteam Carter manage to escape with Arby and Tartarus and Brutes in pursuit, and the Brutes again betray Arby for the failure to secure the Icon. I still think Arby survives this, and him and Half-Jaw kill Tartarus early. Both Spartan Teams then return to the Clad either before or during the attempted Flood capture, but manage to repel the parasites because Sgt. Johnson was aboard to ensure the ship doesn't fall into the Gravemind's tentacles. With Index secure, and with prior Alpha Halo experience, the gang decides to mix things up a little by using In Amber Clad's reactor to blow up the ring, escaping orbit on the remaining Pelicans. Added bonus is that High Charity is right there in orbit, so the shards of the ring basically destroy or disable the Holy City. Gravemind and Flood problem is deleted from the plot. Mass chaos as the Brute and Elite ships battle amidst the debris fields, but the Elites also have the Arbiter and aren't also distracted with a Flood infested High Charity since the Gravemind never made it aboard without the Clad. Truth still escapes aboard the Keyship, but the Elites have quick victory against the Brutes, and make an alliance with the Demon-filled Pelicans floating in space. It would be a little more uncomfortable, since Arby didn't have the Gravemind/2401 Penitent Tangent to reaffirm what the Heretic Elite told him, but the loss of the Elite Council and total backstab of the Prophets might be enough to make friends from enemies. They all travel back to Earth together, with the full Elite fleet instead of just Chief alone, arriving to chase Truth through the Portal, reaching the Ark, and basically repeating Halo 3 with the exclusion of the Flood, so Halo 3 is 4 missions shorter, maximum happy ending.

Without him, Earth can't get glassed by R'tas when the flood are released, and the Galaxy is wiped out by humanity at the end of this alternate Halo 3. This mean that yes, arbiter is the most important character in Halo history, he literally saved the galaxy and no one really recognises that

Not to question this what if but I feel like this could probably go more differently than you think (feel free to prove me wrong on this but I just find it hard to believe that tartarus would lose this battle)
Maybe I'm over thinking but Tartarus isn't a normal brute, he's a powerful chieftain, he even has a unique overshield (which to me still seems like a precursor to the invincibility equipment in halo 3 but for him it recharges unlike the one in Halo 3) that only a beam rifle seems to be able to disable temporarily, not even an energy sword or any other weapon like the plasma rifle seems to have any effect, maybe standard bullets could break it but we've never seen that happen so it could still have no effect, also his gravity hammer is unique compared to the gravity hammers we usually encounter, its more powerful as well AND it can pull in targets which I don't think the standard hammer can do.
(I want to remind everyone in the comments that despite how much people joke at Tartarus being a 'weak' brute compared to Atriox, that he is still a very powerful brute chieftain, so and so that he could easily take down a single spartan with ease.)
Bare in mind tartarus was already in the room with the arbiter when he was preparing to attack miranda and johnson, he was just waiting for the right moment to betray the arbiter, but seeing as in this what if noble team is there he'll immediately assist the Arbiter (in addition to having a brute squad with him)
So logically this could still end with the great schism still happening, noble team is a strong spartan fireteam but they aren't invincible, noble 6 is a highly effect lethal vector but I doubt even he could turn the tide of battle in noble teams favour, the arbiter could likely attack from the shadows with his cloak and target spartans like Jun and Jorge to render their heavy and sniper support useless leaving them open to overwhelming attacks.
And for the sake of everyones love for noble 6, Tartarus casually yeets him into the hole and soon after the arbiter joins him after revealing his true intent to him.
Sidenote: Brutes aren't no push over's either, they can easily go toe to toe with a spartan.
Sure noble team has fought plenty of brutes on reach but they haven't fought against an EXTREMELY powerful brute chieftain alongside brutes AND an arbiter simultaneously.
I mean if you consider that Atriox took down 3 spartans II's without even trying AND bodying the Master Chief WITHOUT even trying as well then I think Tartarus could still come out on top in this battle and it could still end with arbiter falling into the hole.

Came to agree on that. Earth has all of noble and grace? She died in first strike but I know they're were two spartans plus the pelican pilot who died in the slip space world fight.
Don't see why they werent deployed like blue team. Making the defense of earth much much quicker or even sense they had so many Spartans they pushed the assault on Regrets ship much sooner before he can retreat and potential relaunch operation red flag.
Couple of orphaned plot beats i noticed:
- If Keyes was never captured, how did they learn about the existence of the Silent Cartographer? I seem to recall it was first mentioned after he's freed from the brig.
- What happened to Anton and Li? They disappear from your narrative when talking about First Strike, without elaborating the battle in the slipspace anomaly; a battle, I imagine, that would have developed fairly differently had they had Noble Team as backup. The UNSC personnel in general is also greatly boosted, as more people survived Installation 04, so it's no longer JUST the Spartans.
- Related to this, what happens to Jacob Keyes? He disappears from the narrative after the end of Halo CE, with his role from that point going forward being taken over by his daughter.
I'm also curious as to what would be your take on the relationship between the IIs and the IIIs during these events. I imagine Jorge would be some sort of a peacekeeper between both generations.
Why would they all survive halo 1 and 2 against the flood and covenant, why would they not raid the truth and reconciliation.

Unfortunately at 17:40 you mention that they would find Cortanas message. They wouldn't. Cortana is still with the Gravemind on Delta Halo and I doubt he would let her go. The cruiser that goes through seems to be from the High Charity fleet, which Cortana wouldn't have access to because she's stuck on Delta Halo, and only the In Amber Clad outbreak allowing the Gravemind to form on High Charity would that be possible. But still. Shenanigans

I still make tributes to noble 6 and see many theories about the noble 6 cave theory. Jun was the only one who survived and still needs to return in the next Halo game. You know what they say, "Spartans Never Die, They're Only Missing in Action".
If Noble team protected Miranda and Johnson in the Library during Halo 2 then its safe to assume that In-Amber Clad never fell to the flood because they never would have gotten captured and abandoned it.
Also the Great Schism would’ve still happened although the alliance with Humanity wouldn’t have. After the death of regret, Truth still puts the brutes in charge but the Elites would fight back however still believe in the Great Journey
But The Heretic from Halo 2 would still be running around stirring up Trouble, he already had a large enough amount of Converted Troops that the Prophets sent the Arbiter to kill him. The Schism was already under way before The Chief got involved. No idea how but im betting The Heritic would team up with The Chief against the Arbiter, then move ahead in the Arbiters place in the game.

I don't think your judgement about Halo 2 is good, it does not make sense nor does it make a good game/story. I think the primary point of failure starts with the Index. Thel isn't a moron, he wouldn't attempt to take on 6 Demons, especially after he was almost killed during a duel with one during the Cole Protocol, Thel would instead contact Tartarus who would bring a much larger force with him, this would overwhelm noble team, causing them to retreat, and the story stays the same from this point, Tartarus betrays Thel after securing the index, leading the gravemind to the same course of action.

The only reason Lord Hood went to the ark is because the master chief was coercing him. Also, in my headcannon Noble 6 and Chief were the only hyperlethals. All the other ones were good but not as good as them. Pair Noble 6 with a smart ai too and pair him with chief and cortana, CE, Halo 2 and halo 3 would go by much faster, or more effeciently. 343 is the only people who made every spartan "hyperlethal" anyways have a good day
@@jxstbakerproductions yeah, the only parts that really make sense are the Halo CE parts, but I think there was some errors there too. like why would captain Keyes take noble team to secure the weapons cache? clearly Keyes didn't think it was a very important or defended after all he only took a single squad there, why would he suddenly take a squad of Spartans to something he thought was only worth taking as many marines too? I left it out on my comment but that logic also applies to Miranda attempting to secure the Index, why would Miranda take the entirety of noble team when for whatever reason, she thought only taking Johnson was enough?

I like thinking that Noble team died on Reach, *noble* souls were lost on Reach and even if the planet was fully destroyed their stories live on. I think a Halo Reach anniversary game would be pretty cool, and adding a different ending in so it was confirmed that Noble 6 died/survived and where Reach survived too.

I agree with everything up until the point in Pre Halo 2 where Fred, Kelly, and Linda are split off from Chief to do their missions around the Earth. I don't see why ONI would split up Blue team instead of just sending the entirety of Nobel Team to do those jobs.

@Wasted117. i see what you're saying, but who was gonna pick him up after the gun? I think the autumn was is full scramble mode after that shot. After all you have to keep in mind those were rockets attached to the bottom of the autumn which means everything from our prospective was probably a good a good 3 to 5 miles away from where Noble 6 was standing for safety reasons and you were also up pretty high. The ship was in the process of being sealed or already sealed. I think his best bet would have just been not to fight but to seek shelter. I mean, if he knew about it, he could have escaped to the castle base somehow, like how Dr. Halsey, did that's probably the only way he makes it into the rest of the lore. Idk how far he was from Castle, though.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t think 6 would’ve had a similar experience to Chief in the library at all. Chief himself had actually quite a bit of trouble with the amount of flood inside of the library, a Spartan 2- and more than that, humanities best. I love noble 6 but he would NOT last too long by himself against the flood in the library.

I disgree, Noble 6 gets infected in the Library 100%, he's not as lucky as Chief and he doesn't have Cortana, in the Flood novel Chief is literally centimeters away from being infected and it's only because of Cortana's intervention by shunting power from his suit to fry it that he survives.

Only problem i have with this is they might break noble team into 2 seperate teams, 2 with chief and and 2 with carter once they reach the halo operations. Keys might have 2 seperate teams doing other things.
What we did on the first halo, we had to do out of necessity due to being only 1 spartan. But if you had a second team they would have the liesure of having secondary objectives. Maybe even stealing a covenant ship and bypass asscendant justices capture.
All the same during the battle of earth after the defense of cairo they may split the team yet again and noble may have been sent on a seperate mission away from what chief was doing. If not leaving him with noble 6 and emile while the other team goes to defend oni headquarters or something and bump into alpha 9.
And who knows if any spartans would have been with chief or with commander keys on delta halo, maybe they might have been sent ahead to secure the control room on a seperate mission while keys gets the index, chief kills the prophet and is captured by the gravemind and sent to high charity, while (i would assume) noble 6 and emile are chilling at a loved beachside escape in the mountains waiting for tarter sauce to show up with johnson, keys and the index.

I enjoyed this video as the ending kinda shocked me as well and I believe you made some really good points however I would like to make a few points that would go against some of your. For example, due to the Great Schism being a key factor for High Charity's fall to the Flood, without it it could have been more probable that it could have been contained due to Covenant technology. Another point I'd like to make is that the key ship that went to the Ark was definitely not alone as they would have had a lot of ships (hell maybe even more as they have more resources available due to no great schism) to escort it + also the leader experience of Half Jaw and his intelligent strategies. As a result of this it could be a possibility that the UNSC's remaining forces would be completely decimated by the Covenant along with Noble team.
Therefore in this ending, the UNSC and human race would likely be nearly or completely wiped out, High Charity never falls as the great schism never happens as Tartarus is not available to use to ignite the plans set out by the prophets, the Covenant control the Ark and also the flood threat would likely be at least contained by the Covenant due to their high energy technology available.
Or noble team stays on earth thats a possibility

I thought Cortana explained in Halo 2 that Master Chief was just a diversion so the Gravemind could get In Amber Clad aboard High Charity while the Covenant were distracted/confused. I think if that’s the case, it’d just mean Gravemind needs a different lie to tell Master Chief to go kill stuff. I think if there were truly no other reason to send Chief to High Charity, you have it down 100%.

Point that was kind of missed. Miranda originally sends Chief to the ship where Cortana's message is to overload its engine core. I'm not sure how big of an explosion that would cause but it does imply that brand of force would be accepted to eliminate the flood.
I think what we all learned here today is that without Chief the Halo universe just dies. 😂
You better hope to god none of those Spartans don’t get infected. More Spartans, especially 3s, engaging the flood especially when they don’t know what it is. That could hurt way more then it helps.
Honestly, Chief would probably have a members of Noble Team with him, and the assault on Regret's temple may have gone differently as a result.
We made it just over 3 minutes in. Chief only survived in the books due to Cortana doing a localised charge from the shields on the infection form trying to squirm through his armor. At best, one or two of Noble team die from this incident..if not all.

Jorge had the easiest opportunity to survive... his armour was fine if I remember so all he needed was for one of the regular soldiers to survive the battle to sacrifice themselves since none of them had a way out without Mjolnir.
