Make your 3D resin prints last a lifetime!

3D Printing a keepsake you want to last? Uncured resin hiding in your finished model may degrade the plastic and leach it's way out over time.
In this tip, we show a helpful way to plan your print to make sure it's clean & cured inside and out.

Why manually drill holes? Almost all resin slicers are supposed to have tools for basic operations like hollowing/supports and especially drain/air-holes, anything that makes an upside down cup shape is bad news and acts like a plunger, that includes the inside of your owl model for every single cured layer if you aren't adding vent holes near the base layer to allow air to bleed in, fyi!

Even when washing out all resin from the inside of your print, it still will not be fully cured if you have opaque resin, unless you get a UV light in there to cure the thing...

No lol Never ever use whatever slicer that is haha Make it fully hollow, you don't need a single internal support for that print, and use the proper slicer to add a couple of drain holes in to prevent suction forces during print. 2-3mm thick shell is ample for a lifetime. You've not only wasted a load of resin on an unneccesary ton of support, you're also sharing bad info :P
