    Is this compatible with the rumble pedals?? The way to do it is the same, but could it work together? Even with the same arduino and shield?

    • @louisbabyCT
      @louisbabyCT 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was also wondering about this. But I don't think so. To my knowledge, the sketch you load onto the Arduino is application specific. If you load the "Sim Wind" sketch, then load the "rumble" sketch afterwards, you will erase the first sketch. If you could merge the 2 sketches, it could be done, but for ease of use, and fault finding, I would purchase another Arduino, and build both. In fact, that's what I did...

    • @robblanchard3146
      @robblanchard3146 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@louisbabyCT It is compatible. I setup the rumble pedals first, then used the 2 extra outputs on the motorshield for 2 fans. Really easy and works great. Make sure to use a 12v power supply with enough current to feed your fans. My power supply is rated 2.5 amps.

    Do you have any advice for what to do if the fan's are emitting a high pitch squeal when not at 100% duty cycle.
    I've tried two different models/makes of fans now and the system emits a horrible high pitch whine when at low RPM's.
    I'm a little stumped as to what is causing it or how to remedy it.
    When at near or 100% the squeal goes away and is just replaced with the fan noise itself.
    Thanks

    What layer height do you recommend for the 3d printed parts? I don't have a 3d printer so I'm using 3dhubs.com. Thanks

      amstudio Thanks for the help. I paid $40 to have the parts printed through 3dhubs. Now I just noticed your vids on 3d printers and I can't believe the price. I think I'm going to buy the Ender 3. Thank you!

    Hi man, congrats for your channel, I love it. I have facing trouble to setup the fans, mostly because I am very ignorant on arduino and I have SimHub 7.3.7, that the layout is completely different from your video, could help me out? Thanks

    This looks really cool. I will order the parts today and start the project. Just 1 question: Is there made a box for the Arduino and the motorshield? Would be really nice touch to have it all in a small box !
