Many thanks for your awesome videos! Although i do not have any experience with electronics, soldering or programming an Arduino, i successfully built up the gear indicator and the LED Rev-indicator. I just built this and I'm telling you it works great and your instructions was very clear and easy to follow. I love this thing. I can't wait to get home and install it on my home setup. Next I'm gonna try the button box. Only problem is I use it for american truck and when I get 9th gear it doesn't go any higher. Is there a different matrix that I can use to get double digit numbers?
Hey man, your videos are top notch. Short, easy to follow and hella informative. Just started building the sim dash, the sequential gear and button box. Just a small question, if you ( or somebody) can anwser, I would be gratefull. Can´t we use the same Nano without messing with code/sketch to build the sim dash and this gear indicator all in one package instead of using one Nano for each? Thanks man, love your work!

@@amstudioprojects i have a question. in the rev light video it shows you are using d4 for input and here you are using d4 too. so can i just change the pin to other pin if i were using only 1 board for both ?

do you have to have sim hub running in the background on pc for this to work?
I am using a flag display working also with arduino nano, the data line is connected to the D4 on the arduino. Can I use the same arduino nano to operate a gear display simply by starting with connector 5 up to 7??? Or do I have to use a new arduino nano with each hardware-plugin...
Two Questions:
1. did you say this can be entirely connected without soldering by using the pins on the dot matrix and using the supplied pins with the Arduino?
2.Do you like this the look of this display over the nextion one?
Hi, how you made rpm indicator around gear number? In one point of your video gear number was smaler and rpm around it. I try to do same with 8x8 rgb matrix. Nice video thank you

I'll try it soon. TBH it should be possible if you add one more 5V source (from button box board interface)

Hello everyone!! I don't know if anyone can help me. I have installed a ws2812b matrix and it works but the LEDs are disordered. I have tried the serpentine setting and it still doesn't show anything ordered. I don't know what else to do, I've searched and can't find anything that works for me.
I can’t find anywhere how to get rgb lights to flash yellow in cautions or pit limiter.

I kept the stems on the display screen and soldered the stems to the board as I plan to install it onto a tach can. I cannot get it to work, unplugging it lights up the display for a instant then goes off. Any idea as to what can I check.
I got it to work, I had to change a setting on the game (automobilista 2).

Hello. Love Your videos mate! I've got a problem with this one. I've ordered the parts You recommended and build as in Your tutorial, but I can not get it to work with Project Cars 2. The SimHub shows that the game is connected, but all of the leds in the matrix just keep staying on and nothing else happens. Any ideas?
I also have this issue, same in every game I try. LEDS stay powered on and don't change, the lights on the Arduino (RX/TX) flicker when at high RPM but the matrix doesnt change

Hey wotever, great job on the Simhub :-) i´m using and it really is a great piece of software for the end user. Small related question, can we connect the tm1638 + MAX7219 dot matrix + 2 MAX7219 7 segment to only 1 Nano v3? You think the Nano 5v output will be enough? Thanks man.

can anyone Help me? i used an arduino uno because i cant upload the code to a nano for some reason and the code uplodes fine to the uno but when i start up a game the display doesnt work. i have the wiring right and i followed all the steps in the video but i cant figure out why it isnt working (i tested it on dirt 4 and project cars 2)

Amstudio please help!! I have done exactly the same thing as you . The leds power on , all of them. I get in game they still all on, i shift to one . You can see something is happening because it first goes black then red again. But the wholr screen is red! I dont get 1 2 3 4 5 etc
