    This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! We wanted to expand and either go with a DTF or white toner and I was getting confused but this solved it that I want to go white toner as it would work best for my use! I already have a large 15x15 heat press so now I just need the printer, lol. Thank you! 🙂

      Angie do you feel white toner prints are as vibrant and durable as DTF. I outsource my dtfs
      But sometimes I want to print somethings on my own...

    Angie, thank you so much for this video, if price wasn’t a concern, I would get a white toner printer. I will have to find prints for now. I’m hoping places like 143 will start selling the prints as well.

    Very informative! Ideally if I had a business that was busy enough I would love to have all 3 in a site outside of my home. That is not a likelihood for me but I do order DTF prints and love them! I have not seen any White Toner print sellers in my area (or even outside it) to be able to try that yet. But I have a question - can any less expensive printers be converted to either DTF or white toner the way Epson's can be converted to sublimation? And if so, how difficult is the conversion?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have not seen any conversion hacks.

    Are the final results between DTF and the white toner printer the same? I heard DTF looks much better than the white toner printer. Thank you for the info.

      The look similar to me. The feel is a bit better with DTF right after pressing.

    You are always so knowledgeable and my go to check on tech stuff I have questions on.
    I was deciding on either a white toner printer or DTF and I think I’ll go with the White Toner printer over DTF printer.
    Seems the White Toner is more expensive up front but over all DTF will end up being similar since DTF you have to keep up with the powder and other materials and the maintenance seems it would be a huge pain. I wanted something for more cotton material, quicker to use, and absolutely easier to use as a non-techy person (already have to learn a lot with so much other tech stuff and my head hurts-lol). Definitely the powder for DTF is the largest concern for me and agree if I want to do DTF I will stick to purchasing already made ones from others.
    This video helped seal my decision to get a White Toner Printer. And even though I’ve seen many videos of ppl complaining about the cool/cold peel that doesn’t bother me because I have a cooling block already.

    Hey! love your videos really helped me get started in sublimation. ❤ I was wondering if maybe you could find time to a video on fluorescent sublimation ink? There isn’t much information about using an epson with just 4 colors despite the fluorescent ink says you can use an epson 2800 just switch out the yellow and magenta. I would much appreciate if you can help me out 🙏

    i am going to get the icolor 560. I have a converted Epson WF for sublimation. do you think that the icolor sublimation is as nice, and as easy as the inkjet sublimation printer? is it worth the cost? or would it make more sense to just invest in another sublimation printer? i do need both in my small business

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The only thing I don't like about sublimation with toner is it can leave a residue on hard surfaces and you have to do an extra step to clean that off.

    Hi Angie- I love your videos. They are so helpful, but I am confused as to which direction I should take for heat transferring designs onto cotton/jute tote bags and cotton wristlets. I have been looking everywhere for no weed heat transfer paper. I called Magic Touch and they recommended their T-One paper. I was assured I could print on my laser printer and then just heat press. It did not work and the paper was expensive. I do not know if I should purchase the DTF Prestige A4 printer. Do you have any suggestions for the products I mentioned? I already have the Sawgrass printer for sublimating mugs and clipboards I would be so grateful for your suggestions. Thank you, Amanda Bush

      @@AngieHolden Hi Angie- Thank you so much for your help. I actually did see this video, but unfortunately my designs are full color. Do you do any designs with full color and heat transfer to products like the tote bags or cotton wristlets? I used to sublimate onto the cotton wristlets with paper used in a sublimation printer, but the results were not to my quality standards. The colors were not as intense as when I used heat transfer paper. Unfortunately when I cut around my designs I can still see the remaining residue. So I was considering DTF. If you have any other suggestions I would be very grateful. Thank you so much! Amanda

    Thank you for the helpful comparison! I'm looking to put designs on not just apparel, but other items as well, like water bottles, glasses, pens... can the prints from a white toner printer adhere to these non-textile items well enough?

    Hello Angie
    I watch your video blogs all the time. Thank you for always keeping me educated and updated.
    I'm interested in the white toner printer from HeatTransfer Warehouse. I want to be able to print on any fabric. I currently have the HTVRONT heat press. Do you think this press would be ok to use with the white toner printer?
    Thank you in advance

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would NOT use the press with white toner. I would get a traditional heat press so you can apply heavy pressure.

    I'm looking to be able to print onto both synthetic and cotton apparel and I was looking at the SG500 or the SG1000 with the Chromacast ink system for the cotton part of it, but I may have to buy an addition printer to use with the normal sublijet inks for the polyester apparel. Ultimately, I'd like to get myself a DTG printer, but I'm looking at big money there!!!. How does the SG500 go with printing to t-shirts, since they seem to recommend its bigger sibling for that job instead?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't have issues with doing shirts on my SG500. But yes the sublimation ink would only be for shirts that have polyester. For cotton, you would need another option. Maybe you could order DTF prints for a while for those until you can get another printer?

      When applied correctly, white toner lasts about 50 washes. I also like the way it wears after washing.

    • @AngieHolden

    White toner cost per page is more than DTF, right? Would you know how much the difference is?

    • @AngieHolden

      The toner is less than the ink. But the white toner paper is more than DTF film. I am not sure how much it would be per page for each.

    • @AngieHolden

      As long as you powder and cure it. You cannot just print and save as the ink stays wet on the film.

      They make ovens that are specifically for this with an air filter. Those are the only ones I would use.
