Thank you for doing this comparison! I love white toner because of less equipment space. But dtf is also mighty! It's to be respected. You really can't go wrong with either. Just set your visions for your biz growth right. Thank you for all you do, Kat. You're helping my depression by giving me something to do. A great distraction.
Thanks for the comparison, I don't have a DTF and will stick with the DTF hack before buying the machine. I do have the Icolor white toner printer but I didn't buy it for t-shirt, I brought it for all the great things it can do with hard service ceramic, glass, wood, acrylics, metal, magnetic sheeting, leather, candles, window cling and printing white, matalics, glitter, glow in the dark, tattoo, ceramic, glass, wood, acrylics, metal, magnetic sheeting, leather, etc Also the low temp you can print on mylar balloons. So, I guess it all depends on what you want to do for your business!
Just a big question about safety related to DTF. There's some important warnings related to the vapors from the oven when curating the print. Companies are highly recommending to wear a vapor mask to avoid inhaling the DTW powders from the oven even ir you have the Air purifier added. That's one of the reason that is holding me back and considering more the White Toner. Thank you!
That's my concern as well, I don't feel an air purifier is enough, I have my crafting room in one side of my basement and my husband and kids go downstairs to do laundry or watch tv/play in the other side, today I watched Brother Ernest video , he says he got Anaplastic Cancer from DTF Printing, now I'm terrified to get a DTF printer, even taking the precautions :(
When you rub you are cooling down the transfer for White toner, that's why it stuck in the corner Looking forward to seeing more videos. This was a perfect video for me to explain to others how white toner is different than dtf.
DTF is great! TIP: When putting a DTF image like that on a white shirt, you can knock out the white and use the color of the shirt to make the transfer feel even nicer. 🙂 A huge advantage with DTF is being able to automate the process for larger volume. With a roll printer and auto shaker/dryer, you can print 50 designs while you do other things and they will be ready to press when you get back.
I think the DTF is way better and brighter. I love your channel. You're so creative, and you explain things so well. May God continue to bless you in all that you do 🥰.

The colors on the DTF are much more vibrant but the "white" rabbit looks slightly pinkish. You can tell where the ears came off the transfer as they are actually white. The white toner has a better looking white in my opinion. Maybe seeing white on a dark shirt would show better?
I have a white toner printer and a converted DTF...while white toner is easier to use and maintain, I'm team DTF all day. Its materials are cheaper and images lasts MUCH longer after washing. We all probably have a press by now, and besides having to invest in either printer, then that looks like it would be another huge investment, compared to the powder and bucket
Even though the DTF image has bolder colors the rabbit looks pinkish not white. The whiter toner laser image makes the rabbit look white not pink. I think both have acceptable colors, because short of the side by side I think they both have good color.
Your right about the color…but can’t you adjust the color to more a vivid setting on the whiter toner? From my understanding the toner can print when you need it. The DTF although vibrant in this example. You have to open it up everyday and shake that white ink or else it clogs. Do you have to print something every day too? So that the hoses that carry the ink don’t get messed up? Also..you said both machines cost $4,000.00. But you “Need” that oven to cure the transfer right. Asking the right questions. I actaully just saw another commenter metnion an auto dryer/shaker for powder. It'a machine that will shake and bake your DTF powder for you to ensure consistency. That kind of straight from the printer to the garment convenience and speed is hard to beat.

I am sure the answer would be no. The white toner print is created on a laser printer with white toner. It is dry/fused when it comes out of the printer. DTF power sticks to the wet ink surface of the DTF print and then is cured by heat prior to applicaition to the substrate.
ima try anyway it may even change the w_toner feel, o bet experimenting some diff dtf powders something would work because the dtf powder B paper both are very thin coating, ot really meed 2B experimented

@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 thank you so very much. I was wondering if the price would be higher because it’s not vinyl and the supplies are higher.
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 if you have to sell those shirts at $25.00 a pop just to turn a profit, you're in trouble. You can get away with that for like three or four shirts, but anyone placing a double digit order (not to mention triple digit,) is going to expect a much better price than that. Good for you if you can make it work, but I would go out of business if that was my bottom profit making price.
You married them wrong, first you have to heat the plate, then the A foil goes down with the image facing up, then the b foil with the glue facing to the image 200°C (sorry don't use farenheit) for 2 minutes, then as you did rub the back with some cloth and peel in one go, not quick nor slow but consistently, you souldn't have issues thay way, btw, have you tried the new b foil from forever transfer? Is more stretchy than before, and I think white toner could have better performance than Dtf with improved materials and there is a white toner printer with 5 colours, if you had the funds would be well worth it there are more things you could do with a toner printer than with a dtf printer

Great video thank you! What brand powder and fil are you using?
Wala dtf powder it was on the screen in the video. Link in bio all products for dtf are in my previous dtf video as well.
Thank you, very informative as always. Lol at Kayden. You know he has to be in the video 😂
Always! Some how or another right. Lol
What brand is your dtf machine & what model number please
I'm using sublimation printing I have machine
How bout the screen printer.. can you show how that’s done
Btw, in other video how come some DTF print has already white underbase (even before putting white powder) ?
Where did you get your DTF set up please!
I prefer the DTF.
DTF hands down looks better
The only thing white toner has over dtf is printing speed, then again there exist large format dtf printers.
True and you still have to marry the images for white toner so overall I don’t think it’s faster
Can you use the DTF POWDER on the white toner print?
Great question. Was wondering too.
I am sure the answer would be no. The white toner print is created on a laser printer with white toner. It is dry/fused when it comes out of the printer.
DTF power sticks to the wet ink surface of the DTF print and then is cured by heat prior to applicaition to the substrate.
@@neoblu63 yeah that actually makes sense. Lol thank you
ima try anyway it may even change the w_toner feel, o bet experimenting some diff dtf powders something would work because the dtf powder B paper both are very thin coating, ot really meed 2B experimented
Katrina, you rocked this review and of the two I’m definitely going with DTF. I get mine on Monday and I’m excited about it. Can you advise what’s a round about you would charge for dtf shirts and if we did at some point I think it’s called gang sheets?
Your prices will always depend on the cost of shirts and how big the image is. Anywhere &25 and up
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 thank you so very much.
DTF hack using sublimation printer gives me a bright print but I don't like the grainy look. Any suggestion on how to get that problem resolved?
Sorry no I don’t really use that method just showed it. It may be your ink
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 thank you. Someday I hope to be able to purchase a DTF printer.
Why would you use white toner and ink when transfering onto white shirts?
Can both of these print on mylar and kraft brown paper bags?
The comparison should have been on a dark shirts, white toner is specific for dark shirts.
Whats the largest size the White toner and DTF printers print?
New subscriber. I love your channel

Dtf babe 😊
Hello do you have the link or Information to the dtf printer you have I have been 50/50 on converting one or just buying one
The DTF printer I’m using is now discontinued. I talked about it updates DTF videos and showed other options please refer to that video
Great job
Keep scaling new heights
Please I really need to connect with you
In regards to what
White toner all day!
Thank you
You married them wrong, first you have to heat the plate, then the A foil goes down with the image facing up, then the b foil with the glue facing to the image 200°C (sorry don't use farenheit) for 2 minutes, then as you did rub the back with some cloth and peel in one go, not quick nor slow but consistently, you souldn't have issues thay way, btw, have you tried the new b foil from forever transfer? Is more stretchy than before, and I think white toner could have better performance than Dtf with improved materials and there is a white toner printer with 5 colours, if you had the funds would be well worth it there are more things you could do with a toner printer than with a dtf printer
What’s the program you use for the DTF prints.
Every dtf printer comes with its own rip software. I use the cadlink digital factory
