My favourite whisky TH-camr is back! Great to see the whole town getting involved in this event and it’s easy to see why it attracted over 4000 people from across the globe. Some incredible and highly exclusive drams on offer - they run out quickly! Hats off to all the people bringing in such amazing drams to share as well (30 y/o Springbank 😮) the generosity is unreal! @@KanpaiPlanet yes. It was the same for me. I only bumped into them as the crowd lessened as closing time drew near. But I still ended up bumping into other attendees while going around town in the evening.

Was a top time over at @nononsensewhisky! The 130.6 Chichibu was great, the Kanosuke Rum Cask was lovely and Springbank 30 - that goes without saying! 🥃🥃🥃
@@KanpaiPlanet He was responsible (along with John Lamond) for "The Malt Whisky File" that I used as a 'to do' list for over twenty years (only Clydesdale eluded me... but they last distilled in 1919!).
So, does that bottle, even at the distillery, cost around USD 400+ after you won the ballot? Regardless, what an amazing experience! Does it take long to go from Tokyo?

When is the festival?
2024's Festival was held on Sunday 18 February. Typically the festival is held mid-February
So, does that bottle, even at the distillery, cost around USD 400+ after you won the ballot? Regardless, what an amazing experience! Does it take long to go from Tokyo?
I mention in the video that it cost me ¥16500.
From Ikebukuro it takes around 80 minutes to get to Seibu Chichibu Station
