I HOPE MY SINGING DIDN'T BREAK YOUR EARS.
Whenever I visit Osaka I always feel like my time there was too short - and this time was no exception. If there’s somewhere in Osaka you recommend visiting, let us know below! Sorry this one took longer to edit than usual folks! There was quite a lot of footage to edit it down from. We may only have had one evening in Osaka, but we were able to pack a lot in! Please LIKE the video if you did enjoy it guys! It means a lot, given all the time spent editing each video!
I’ll give up an update on the cycle after the next video as I don’t want to confuse anyone, suffice to say, we filmed a heck of a lot of awesome videos. I took on criticisms from viewers and have stepped back from doing more "vlogging style" of videos route and have reverted back to making better edited videos (which basically just means that there are voiceovers).

@@sherinodak7 Osaka is great. I can only compare it to Tokyo and Kyoto, but out of those three it's my clear favorite. Like Chris said, the people are quite laid back compared to their counterparts across the country. The food is amazing (and cheap!). Even if you only speak two words of Japanese, as long as you have a phone with Google Translate, you can have long and interesting talks with the locals.
One tip: Do not limit yourself to just Dotonbori/Amerikamura. They're fun places to hang out, but still quite tourist-y areas. Some days I would just go to a train station, pick a local line and head to a random part of the city, and no matter where I went I found cool sights, good food and drink, and amazing people.
Sadly, as you will be too young to drink, you'll definitely miss out on some of the funnest of the fun ;)

My last holiday in Japan, first 3 days in Tokyo... everyone tight lipped and strait faced. Cramped hotel room, nobody talking on the metro, lining up on the left side of the escalator and looking extremely hurried in a fashionably way.
Fourth day, Osaka. After getting of the escalator on the right side, and greeted by a police officer casually asking me in broken English if I had a fun business trip, I spotted a couple making out on the metro without a care in the world. I knew I was in Osaka, and felt at home

I know this isn't relevant to this video at all (I haven't watched it), but I just had to post it somewhere, and maybe it'll be seen?
I just discovered this channel, and I'm watching this video "don't get fat in Japan," and early on in the video the host goes on to explain how a cat would double his subscriber base, but he can't have a cat. So he pulls out a plush cat. Plays with it a bit, and then sets it behind him to be forgotten.
About 4 minutes later my little guy comes in (4 years old). He takes one look at the screen, and loudly exclaims "That guy has a cat!" It caught me off guard, because I was so into the message of the video and all the creative b-roll that I totally forgot there was a cat back there. It was just so surreal for the host to make those comments about the cat and to see it realized right in front of me.
That cat video was 2 years old, so I didn't want to respond to it, but it was just a surreal moment that I had to write it down somewhere.

Initially Chris excited everyone by saying that he'd do daily videos of his cycling trip, but I'm starting to understand Chris' style of work... It seems that he's all about quality and not quantity, so he can't bring himself to hastily put out shoddily or casually made videos. Instead he takes time to edit quality work with the amount of footage he takes during his trip.
