Awesome video bro....these are some very underrated trucks and I have noticed them with the right setups can outperform high end crawlers....I really enjoy mine
I just ordered this rig to match my Danchee Ridgerock. The Danchee has 3 different steering option but the motors are over the axels and claim not water proof. I will be making the Everest 10 4 wheel steer asap. I do wonder if it will have the same issues far as being super light like the Danchee. Have you noticed a bouncing issue with the Everest 10.
I’m about to order all my parts for the 4 wheel steer. I’ve watched videos on this before and your the first to mention anything about an in-line inverter. Everyone else just runs a Y cervo cable. Is the inverter 100% necessary? Thanks!
@@ottersrcgarage576 interesting! thanks for the reply. After diving into it a bit more i’ve discovered that it is a must have. Which makes total sense. If you don’t invert the signal then you’ll basically have “crab walk” the whole time. Not true 4 wheel steer. Thanks for the help!
Where did you get the in line inverter cable cause mine is just doing crab walk. Redcat told me to just get the Y and sure enough it goes the same direction as the front. 🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼
@@jaimeandrade77 it came with the kit my in law got so I am not sure. I'd hook it up to channel 4 if you have an aftermarket controller and control it with ch4 switch. Try searching servo signal inverter possibly.
It does have a lot of body roll when just going straight. Other people have said use thicker shock oil on that side. The issue you are seeing is torque twist. To be honest I have not looked into many solutions.
The "bent" lower suspension linkage is for steering clearance not ground clearance; that's why they are only on the front.
Thanks for the info!

We're still waiting for a dry day to see its full potential but even a wet day it shined. I didn't get any video of that day, too wet.
Great video bro. A lot of people start out with this rig so your giving great advice and instruction.
Thank you!
Pretty cool watched it with your father in law
Thanks for the subscribe!
Would make for some interesting "follow the leader" runs
Yes it will! Anxious for its tires to show up so we can try it out. Weather permitting of course.

Not bouncing really but does have a bit of torque twist. I think the link geometry could be reworked to resolve some of that but haven't tried.

The inverter this kit uses just inverses the channel. I don't think its necessary but came with the kit he purchased.

@@taylorgunn3215 glad we all learned something. I didn't know if with out you could flip the servo or something.

do you have shaft bend or something, problem? body bend when accelerating

Hey man question i did the same exact thing with my everest 10 and both wheels turn the same way any way to fix it??
Our kit came with a module that reversed the steering input for us. Not sure where to get it. We got our kit off ebay.
Can you still use the stock remote?
With this kit yes you can. The down side is you cannot control the rear steer separately, it mimics the front but opposite direction.
Can it have 3 modes of steering like Danchee now? Do I need a special remote for that?
Got a link for the wiring harness you used
No. It was part of the kit my inlaw ordered.
What size tires are those?
4.75 on 1.9 wheels. A lot smaller than what came on it but it has helped keep the c.g. lower.
They look taller, but skinnier. Is the stock rim 2.2? I’ve been looking to upgrade to a taller skinnier tire.
Stock is 2.2 and around 5in tall
