Imagine how cool it would be if we would get new updates with new roles, weapons, minigames and a lot more. They should add some real expensive stuff like houses/properties with real expensive upgrades because there's nothing to spend your money on. Rdo has so much potential... Tbh it could be the best online game.
They could, at the very least, bring a few more minigames over from single player like Blackjack or Dominoes. There's also an entire host of different revolvers from the period they could add to the game, but that's insanely hopeful.

Yeah, collector is literally just trying to get annoying collectibles in story mode but you have to do it multiple times in rdo. I don’t get how people like the role

It's absolutely annoying trying to get something dumb like fossils and stuff, but I can understand why people would enjoy the role. Being realistic (pun intended), the world is beautiful and collector is the perfect justification to just explore. Remember, the collectors map shouldn't technically exist and it's supposed to be a game that isn't minmaxed (even though you literally have to minmax to get anywhere).

I like to use the Trading,Moonshiner and Bounty hunting method,you do bootlegging moonshiner missions,buy the mash,get spiced island flavor (somehow the ingridient is easy to get),then i go hunting with a wagon store alot of pronghorn pelts and other animal pelts,do bounty misions while waiting for both of them to get ready,profit!
The method is much more efficient to new players… unless they’re a kleptomaniac, then all of the sudden they’re cleaning everything out, and I speak from experience. If it’s near to any Tarots, I can’t help it, at all.
After selling full sets, if I still feel like playing, I'll grind a few bounties and loot every corpse. Some hunts with lots of enemies can net 3-4 collectibles which really fills out the inventory so you can just go for the last few cards of a set later.
Great video Cat! A lot of time and effort must have gone into it. I also think some good advice would be to go for the collectables you have the least of 1st if time is limited.
Thank you so much for the advice. I only have about 60 minutes a day to play and have been trying to collect all the sets which takes several days. I will focus on the Swords and Pentacles as I also try to do a daily moonshine delivery and keep Cripps somewhat happy.
I remember when I first got collector and they had one of these 2x weeks, I went every day and collected every coin (and a lot of the random metal detector spots) and still did not get a full set.....I then realized how rigged it is.
In my experience, i got the most gold bounty hunting. Specially legendary bounties. You will only make a significant amount of gold in the bonus month though. Gold is very hard to come by without purchasing it. The best way to get gold is lake isabella. (Iykyk)
yeah when it comes to the random one I just sell them as is, because I know am not going to get a full set, and just work on getting full sets of ones I know, I've just started the game again and the first roll I got with this one, I do love this roll I like going around and collecting things. I did buy gold for it as you do get the one-time offer of 25 gold bars for like £5 so I did that to give me a head start, and it will be the only gold I buy. Also that map is amazing, whoever made it needs a lifetime supply of whatever they want
1 hour? that's truly amazing I was doing it for like 2 hours and it already halfway trough, and the day apparently resets differently than a daily challenge refresh, so it refreshed my 2+ hours session and I lost track now, such a wasting time

Best way for me, and best way in general compared to time wasted is: Start Etta Doyle, start timer when you can control your guy, run to the gate, spawn bounty wagon, run into the tunel, wait 5 min till she figures out it's a trap, grab her when she runs, put her im a wagon, ride to sidewalk near the turn in police station, jump on the wagon (optional), open jurnal and do WHAT EVER YOU WANT In the meantime. Wait 30 min on started timer and turn her in. Easy 450 cash or 900 with double payout. *EASY* 6 minute setup for 25ish minute afk grind. Go slay in chivalry 2, parkour in ac unity, play aram in Leagu of legends, complete a chapter in uncharted 4, or heck, burn your right hand.

I play other more fun games while I grind in rdo with Etta doyle for money I don't have anything to spend on anyway haha. Got all my weapons, upgrades, cards, horses saddles roles etc. For me, time is money, and If I would spend 45 minutes grinding in an online video game, like rdo, It would have to be a 10k+ payout. We ain't 16yo anymore sadly.

I usually play about 20-30 minutes per day, so this will dramatically increase my productivity... I wont be completing collections daily, but even twice per week will be huge. I didnt know about the gaurunteed items vs random. I thought they were all random.

Also how you have to be in a certain radius to see someone on map so griefers can’t really follow you.
I'm one of those people too))) I enjoy in rdo just riding a horse, hunting, picking up new clothes, finding interesting looks, practising shooting birds on a gallop or on a train, meeting new players and sometimes fighting with them, playing with friends, having a good chat, and of course, completing missions.... I can't explain it, but I find this game addictive even without updates. But of course I would like to see them too...

i always did this thing i use mark all the cards,bottles and heirlooms and collect them while doing $$$ bountys also collecting few samples while my moonshiner and traders are working made 3k in 3hours
She gasses me everytime I go whether I have killed animals or not then I hit her tent with a dynamite arrow go back 20 minutes later and she is really nice then
I have done well over 100 of tarot card collections and no way I can do 2 sets in only 45 minutes. I been doing them every day this month so far but Im getting pretty burnt on them. I do 2 sets at a time as well. 4 at a time just takes me too much time. I do two take a break for a while and do other 2.
At this point I have 113 of one coin, but have yet to see another. The coins are a waste of fucking time if you can never find the mythical 2% coin. I have dug up at least 3k coin spots, completed all my collector buckles and never turned in a coin set.

You need gold to unlock every single method of grinding... yet the gold itself is what you get FROM the grinding, so what the hell am I supposed to do when I don't have the gold or the role? Sell 7 million pelts?
My collector role is glitched. I have the shovel but the dig sites don’t work for me and I often get to where a flower should be and it’s there but not glowing and I can’t collect it. 😑
I tested each method multiple times (with low and high level characters) to find which methods provide better $/hour rate.

Some dig spots require the metal detector so you have to take it out and walk to the dig spot
