Its 2023. I have done 3 playthroughs. I have found those phrases all over the world. Had no idea they were cheat codes. 😂 I found the cheat section in the menu on day 1, assumed it was a New Game Plus kinda thing and then forgot it existed 😂.

Hey there fellers, I got news for us, good news. If you've recently started the game, once you reach chapter 4, there will be a mission called "A man of honor" once you finish it, you will be required to go to camp, and there will be a party, before you reach camp, turn on all the cheats you want to use, don't worry, once you reach camp, the game will give you the option to save, after that, go to sleep in camp, once you wake up, reload the save before the party, and if done correctly, you will keep all the activated cheats, but you will still be able to save. I hope this helped you.
Note, activation cheats like "infinite deadeye" will not work. Just go crazy and activate all the ones you want, you'll find out if they worked soon enough.
I feel like there's no Invincibility cheat simply due to them not wanting you to use it as Arthur to explore Blackwater/New Austin...which is exactly why I want it lol.

One thing you forgot to point out, once you type in all of the cheats, don't activate any of them until you saved your game because you may lose the cheats, but that way, you can load your game back up and the cheats will be there unactivated so instead of having to retype them all, you can just activate them, but only activate them afer saving
Btw if I type in a cheat activate it but have a save beforehand that I didn’t activate does my game count that as opening cheats if I open the cheat and go back to my previous save
btw how can you be so bad that having fortified cores, full health cheat, and tons of items that let you pause and heal, or pause and cheat heal. but STILL need to be invincible? sigh lol. ive never died in a gunfight unless was fucking around and i try to never use items due to gold missions...just get better OR quit before u rage at online deaths

BTW, if you are having trouble with the cheats not remaining listed when you start from the autosave, try entering them but not turning any of them on, not clicking next to those which are engaged by doing so, etc. and restarting the game.

You know that there are those types of frazes all over the map hidden in drawers or even writing on walls. It's like the first RDR, for example if you enter Marston barn up in the hay loft there will be a cheat code written on the ceiling.
A cool cheat would’ve been after you completed the story or when you reach 100% completion you can put one of Arthur’s quotes like “revenge is a fools game” and you’ll be able to play as Arthur once again and it really wouldn’t impact the story or anything since everything has been already done

9:27 The reason you may want to use this cheat to increase horse bonding is because the horses full capabilities aren’t available until you’re fully bonded. Each bonding level unlocks a new ability. Getting max bonding immediately would save the time of bonding to unlock them. It’s surprising you aren’t aware of that and said you can’t understand why someone would use this cheat.

But unfortunately, not every horse has the ability to fully max out speed or other stats. When you look at each horse, it will show you the max available stats. You aren't able to improve the horse beyond those max stats it shoe you, even if you're fully bonded and everything. This is what makes the horses different from each other in more than just appearance. It's true to the horse breed characteristics in real life. For example, one horse may be super fast with good stamina, but more timid and will run after a couple gunshots. Where another horse isn't easily spooked, but may lack in speed. Think of them like cars almost. A tank or heavy truck speed can't be maxed out to match the speed of a Lamborghini. But to get each horse to it's maximum potential, just fully bond and use the best saddle and stuff. If you want a horse with speed, you'll need to buy one of the fastest breeds from a stable. The Arabians are fast. The white Arabian you can find and tame, or the ones you can buy at stables are your Arabian options. Sorry for the long winded comment, but I hope that helps. just be warned, If you use the "purchase all camp upgrades" before Strauss' first mission you wont be able to purchase a camp upgrade for the mission and will be stuck on that screen, unable to purchase any upgrades and unable to leave until you purchase an upgrade. I had to restart the whole game because of it

All of these messages are hidden throughout the map. Off the top of my head, I know “you flourish before you die” is carved inside the drawer of a destroyed cabin above Lake Isabella.
They should have made it so it just blocks achievements. Mark the save with "(cheats active)" I'm kind of annoyed at Rockstar for the way they disable saving as well as achievements. No reason to disable saving.

Cheats are kind of pointless, all in all. There's no satisfaction in using them post campaign, there's nothing to do, not to mention whatever progress, money, or items you've found will just disappear. Just disable Trophies, Rockstar.

I had not realized that the autosave was disabled, so i played all of chapter 1 and half of chapter 2 and then i closed the game and when i started it up i had to start from the beginning!

They really should let you replay missions with the max stats and the weapons of you have unlocked and the horse you use. Getting some of the gold medals are impossible, the objectives are bloody ridiculous.

This is what makes the horses different from each other in more than just appearance. It's true to the horse breed characteristics in real life. For example, one horse may be super fast with good stamina, but more timid and will run after a couple gunshots. Where another horse isn't easily spooked, but may lack in speed. Think of them like cars almost. A tank or heavy truck speed can't be maxed out to match the speed of a Lamborghini. But to get each horse to it's maximum potential, just fully bond and use the best saddle and stuff. If you want a horse with speed, you'll need to buy one of the fastest breeds from a stable. The Arabians are fast. The white Arabian you can find and tame, or the ones you can buy at stables are your Arabian options. Sorry for the long winded comment, but I hope that helps. just be warned, If you use the "purchase all camp upgrades" before Strauss' first mission you wont be able to purchase a camp upgrade for the mission and will be stuck on that screen, unable to purchase any upgrades and unable to leave until you purchase an upgrade. I had to restart the whole game because of it

i think you should be able to cheat and save your game but it just disables trophies. i don’t see a reason why i shouldn’t be allowed to play through the game with unlimited money and health if i want. it’s not unfair or anything. also there should be a god mode cheat and a unlimited dead eye cheat.

I had not realized that the autosave was disabled, so i played all of chapter 1 and half of chapter 2 and then i closed the game and when i started it up i had to start from the beginning!
