Uber has dropped their fare so low drivers are paying Uber instead. A normal X ride from an airport to downtown that used to pay drivers $14-$16 2 weeks ago are now paying $8-$10 and these new breed of drivers are fighting to take them.
Who wants to be a rideshare driver now you just stated that drivers are leaving in droves and the market is over saturated, Uber and Lyft are paying less on every ride offered to drivers now. And if ur not in a strong demographic market, such as California, New York Minnesota Miami . Don’t lease a vehicle period from flex drive or hertz or third party. Just go buy ur own.
Your also not thinking about how expensive insurance is. I rent out my kia sorento for 500 a week with insurance. The insurance on the low side is 125 to 150 a month per car
Some states may be harder to get drivers to pay a premium, like California. But if you live in washington, for example, drivers have the highest pay in the nation per mile and minute. It would be much easier to get a premium price per week. If you're starting out and testing the waters dont go buy a 70k vehicle just to rent out. Start small with one or 2 cash cars that are already paid for and build up from there.
Fleet operators are easy to find on Facebook and Craigslist
