Hell yes! This is the final thing I needed for my modded 3DS to get the complete Nintendo handheld experience (3DS, NDS and GB)! Hoping I'll be able to also do GB and GBC similarly to the GBA method. Thanks! :)

Note, if you want to manage your Pokémon save files from a VC Inject, you need to either use PKSM that would need you to add manually the Title ID for the inject or use gm9 to export an gba .sav file
@@Checha_AFG just to make sure, you're saying that if I want to export the save from my playthrough onto another sd card or something I need that, but I can still save my game and play it on my 3ds fine right? Cause I don't have plans to do anything with the save file
@@night_ts Oh yes, U can save like always and nothing should happen, I played 70hrs of Emerald and 50hrs fo FirREd and my data was fine everytime

is there any way you can change the display on the games? im playing pokemon fire red and there isnt any issues but the display. some of the top is cut off and is mirrored to the bottom.

@@TheWave0fDoom89 so I found out you need to re format your SD card to 64 not 32.
Quicker way around it is recreate the CIA and just inject into retro arch mGBA You still get the nice looking artwork.

Thanks a lot man, I downloaded pokemon emerald and it works sweet, the only thing that bothers me a bit is that the title of the game doesn't appear below the banner like other virtual consoles, doesen't affect at all but it's strange

@@ericvaughn7705 I just rewrote the title and release date manually leaving everything else the same and the title appeared

I have one question, can you use a patched ROM?
For example, I would want to play F-Zero Climax. Since it was never officially released in English, it needs the English patch to be able to read text. Can I run it well with the patch?

Edit: I just checked and they don't. Is there any way to do that? Also, the game has like part of itself on the bottom, do you know how to fix that?
Edit again: I fixed the second problem by deleting and reinstalling my cia, but I still would like my saves. Any ideas?
Ok last edit: I figured out how to do the save files, but it turns out the screen problem is still prevalent. It's sporadic though, and only stops like everiy other time I boot up the game. (It's Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga if that matters.) should I try the process again with a different rom?

Hey FunkyScott it’s me again, hope your having a good day, sorry again but I have a question unrelated to the video about the Wii U. Do you happen to have a guide on how to create a back up for the Wii U in case of it ever bricking?
SORRY, I guess I was really not paying attention during your home brew and tiramisu video and I just now realized that you backed up the nand to the sd card, so my question now is, should I copy those specific files to a safe folder on my pc just to be safe?
Correct! I'm not sure if I actually did that in the video but you should definitely place those files into a folder on your pc :)
@@funkyscott47 Well in the video when we dumped the nand, the BIN files were created on the SD card which if I’m correct, can be used to unbrick the Wii U if it ever does get bricked, sorry I’m a little new to the Wii U modding scene so I’m gonna sound like a noob 😂

Hi, thank you for your help! I could install and play without any flaw a lot of gba titles, but I couldn’t put the “Virtual Console” banner, containing both the title and the release date of the game. It just doesn’t pop up to me, even if I enter and modify it.

Also, I made a CIA for Pokemon Emerald, however I notice there's something odd going on with the widescreen implementation I'm guessing?
the screen sort of cuts off at the bottom and loops over, its off by like 5 pixels on first load.
I noticed that pressing home, which brings up the menu on the bottom screen, causes the entire picture to shift up by about 5 pixels.
Sometimes I can repeatedly smash home and it'll shift the whole screen. eventually I can keep doing this until its re-centered, but its still annoying...
Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this, or if there's a fix?
Does NSUI rely on twilight menu at all?
For anyone interested:
the fix/problem -- I had a 128gb Sd card... that was formatted to 32k per block in EXFAT
reformat to 64k per block and it fixes it.

@@Munky332EXFAT causes read/write issues etc with 3ds so use FAT32 instead
Thank you! I had the same issue, and this resolved it after an hour or so of backing up and moving around files. I have no idea why I didn’t have it set to the 64k beforehand but it worked with my 128gb microsd 👍🏻

Thank you so much. I tried doing this using a different platform (VC Injector I think it was called) and it would just boot white screens upon launching the CIAs, this one actually works though. Headache successfully avoided!
Curious, though. Is it possible to fix the in game clock of old GBA games that used clock based events? Made some .cias for the Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald games and they worked, but gave me the warning the in game clock had run dry.

There are n64 emulators, but they don't run great. Better to stick with the games that got ported like sm64 or ocarina of time.

However, I've come into the problem where I manage to install+delete my .cia gba games but then when I boot it up, it displays the GBA title screen, then the screen goes white and doesn't move past that.
I've had the same problem. Not sure what's happening.
@@Yeshuah6 I figured out pretty quickly that it was simply the program I used to create the .cia file (it was different than the one in this tutorial, an outdated one I"m sure), initially I used this tutorial JUST to see how to install the .cia file while I already had it.

LOVE THIS!!! ! I've managed to install the roms correctly and they all play fine. Howerver, they don't show the footbanner when I choose the GBA frame. (if I choose the purple rectangular frame like the OG GBA from the ambassador programme footbanner shows up fine) does anyone know why this is and how to fix it. on mac and the program says it cannot find library/library.xml don't know how to work around this. Tried making a file that is named library.xml and putting the contents of library inside but it just crashed and duplicated all the contents of library again on the library folder

i have the same issue, for some games, pokemon leafgreen for example, when you press the home menu button, the screen moves a bit and isnt cut anymore, with pokemon saphire, the screen just gets more messed up then before, thats what happens with my games

Unfortunately I ran into an error when trying to export, It's saying "RESULT_ERROR_DURING_PROCESS" While I'm trying to export Kirby nightmare in dreamland, I see some others here having the same problem and I can't find proper answers anywhere. Help would be greatly appreciated!
I had the same problem. Try downloading the v27 NSUI beta instead of v28. It worked for me. Hope it works for you too 👍

Found the fix after a bit of research, it has to do with cluster size (allocation size) it seems to only affect us 128gb micro sd users. you’ll simply want to backup your whole micro sd card on your computer and reformat it with fat 32 64kb allocation size(65536) and after reformatting it you’ll want to put everything back on it and you can put it back into your 3ds
