There is a very old diet addage "In the morning, eat like a king In the afternoon eat like a prince At night, eat like a pauper" It's literally what you're saying and i heard it from my grandmother my whole life. Which makes sense bc she managed to stay the same size in her 60s as she was in her 20s. She had clothes in her closet older than my mother.
I’ve heard this too! Eat your heavy meal for breakfast and lunch, and your light meals at night. The best is to eat before 8pm at night or 3 hours before your bed time. I’ve always known this but like she said it comes to discipline and also consistency 😅🤣🙏🏾
I totally agree with the eating heavier meals in the day and light meals at night a couple of hours before bedtime. That got my body together, and I found out through a fitness trainer that if you eat until your full that mean u ate to much food but I would eat a full meal until I got full when I did the one meal a day that really got my body together and drink nothing but Water and then my 30 minute workout five days a week. My problem is I’m obsessed with snacks so I feel like that’s the reason I’ve been working out all these years. If I could cut the snacks out I wouldn’t have to work out as much, but I’ve been working out since I was 22 I’m 46 and I’m scared of just letting myself go I have had people telling me well Keisha you’ve been looking good all your life you had a good run you bout to be 50 who cares 🤦🏽♀️
People are so ridiculous! Age is no reason to let yourself go and you are still young. I'm 34 and I love to see women older than me in shape and healthy. It is motivation!

Running is so freeing. I ran as a teenager and I young adult , stopped and pick3d it up in my 40's again. If you can do it ,do i t . Don't listen to the " experts " say you can't run after a certain age. And try barefoot whenever you can. 😉

The fastest way I lost weight was by fasting 3 day water fast are amazing. Don’t listen to people who say it’s bad for you, it’s literally the best thing you can do for your body. Definitely listen to your body though and you can start off slow, intermittent fasting, 1 day, then 2 days, then 3. But practicing a 3 day fast once a month really helps.

Gurl, one time I went to a consultation for some fat freezing stuff and the girl had the audacity to call my bra fat, CHICKEN CUTLETS!!! I have never been able to look at chicken the same way again!!! Lol ( I didn't do the treatment because I would've needed ALL of the paddles, so I am better off paying for REAL LIPO...and she already scarred me for life mentally - I wasn't going to risk her scarring me physically too!!! Sugar & chips definitely are the main source for back fat. Every time I eat it I swell in those areas. When I don’t eat sugar or chips for a week I don’t have fat on my back, sides and stomach. Yes cardio definitely burns fast because I lost weight fast in 3 months. I went from 151lbs to 133. My goal was 135 didn’t expect to lose less than my goal. Sadly I lost my butt & hips too and now I’m trying to get that part back.
Powerwalking burns fat really fast I lose weight fast so I try not to do cardio as much. I got my weight that I wanna stay at I’m more so as trying to keep my body tone.
I think someone needs to explain that if you're older and/or post-menopausal these tips won't work as quickly - they just won't. I'm late-60's and post-menopausal and have been doing IF for a year and have not lost one ounce in weight! Weight loss is so easy when you're younger (as this young woman has proved) but speak to me in 35 years, love - you'll be struggling like I am.
My mom is 63, post menopausal and she’s in better shape than I am. She eats well, works out and is on no medicines at all. I think it has a lot to do with how well you take care of yourself and taking preventative measures. She’s taught me a lot. 🤍
It has more to do with hormone levels, specifically stress hormone like cortisol which causes us to gain and hold on to weight. You may wanna shorten your fasting times too and make sure you're not over exercising. Long periods of fasting and over exercising is stress and will also increase cortisol levels.
Honestly in Colombia we eat the opposite of Americans. Our breakfast be like steak, arepas, some parts of Colombia have like rice and beans… our “dinner” is between 12-2 and then we have “lunch” around 5/6… I can’t get used to the American food schedule. I hate going to sleep with food coming up, and the dreams be wild when I sleep after a whole meal.

Hi Stacey! I only cut refined sugars/cane sugars/coconut sugars etc… I still have low sugar fruits and low naturally occurring sugars found in butternut squash, rutabaga, carrots, etc… 🤍

Omg I have none broth regularly! I make it from scratch. I thought I was the only one. 😩🤍 It’s completely healed my gut along with fermented foods and cutting sugars. I make a fresh batch every 4 Sunday. Inlet it simmer for 20 hours then store in the freezer to last for the rest of the month. Wow, so happy to hear of someone else who has this wonderfully healing broth. 💕🤍💕
