Thanks for sharing your experiences Alan. I've been looking at Evotech too as a way of mounting my old zumo 595 to the 1200 GT Pro. I look forward to seeing the links for the replacement screen handle as that's where I've mounted my GPS on previous bikes. Thanks again for sharing.
Thanks for the update, I have used a quad lock mirror mount and attached that to the screen bar,my phone sits a great height which I use as a satnav.I have powered the phone using the usb under the seat and routing the wires through the black panels that clip off under the tank and can’t be seen. It is annoying the power point on the dash is permanently live 😩. Spot on with connecting the phone and head set directly to the bike as this works great using the toggle. The only frustration is if you want to navigate through your music as you can only move to the next track. The connectivity is great now and it connects automatically

One of my videos shows my wiring and another video shows how I get my power from the Healtech Thunderbox. Take a look. You might like that solution.
