Wow, 10k Views. I am amazed! I have only had 1 other vid that I have done that has surpassed that number. The vids that you make always surprise you to which one will do good. It's amazing. I wish some of my other vids would do this well. But I want to give a really big THANK YOU to the folks who have watched and liked the video. Very much Appreciated!! Thank YOU!!!
saw Pat Travers WAY back in 1976 and again a few years later when this song came out ... the man rocked it back in the day ... very much an under-rated artist IMO .... killer cover ... keep up the EXCELLENT WORK (and thanks for the memories)
I jammed along with you! You nailed the tone. I play guitar but always played bass in bands professionally. I was 17 when Crash and Burn came out. I wore that cassette out in my car. Mars Cowling was one of the most underrated bass players, IMHO.
WELL DONE! I saw PAt at the Canterbury Theater in MIchigan CIty IN back in 1982. It fit only about 500, and, I was right up in front, smoking some good buds, and, he totally blew us away. One of THE best shows in my life. Totally unforgettable.
@johnmorlan1790 Well I First Stood In Front Of The Man 40 Years Ago And I HAve Stood In Front Of The Man At Least A Dozen Times And I Have NEVER Seen Glen Play Anything But A Hammer!!! I Have 4 DVDs From 1982 Forward And In NONE Of These Videos Does Glen Play Anything But A Hammer!!! Please Give A Link To Anything That Shows Glen Playing A SG!!! Or Show A Link That Show A Signature Series Guitar!!! I Stand By My Comment That Glen Tipton Does Not Play A SG!!!!
I wish I could take lessons from this guy! He's a monster and I really like how he also does slow blues. Very impressive. He's not an arrogant a-hole either. Some of these guitarists are pompous jerks.
that awesome bro 👍 been trying to learn this one right way, first song on my playlist for my new band and was big inspiration when I first started, thank for this 🎸
Love this tune! Saw Pat Travers few times over the years. Killing the solos man! Guitar sound awesome ! ❤ This tune is on my ToDo list bass covers for my little Bastard TH-cam channel. Liked and Subscribed! If you have a moment stop by the channel and say hello! CHEERS!
Damn,,,Good Job-keepin up with Pat Thrall is no easy feat!! I know first hand-I sat in my BR for quite awhile when I was a kid figuring out Pat Travers albums…
This was awesome to hear with the other guitar track in the background. My friend who introduced me to PT once played the live version of Go All Night off GFWYK and pulled the cords off each speaker...one at a time of course...so I could hear what both guitars were doing (stereo recording, one guitar on each side). Something completely different from each one, sounded bad ass!
I never comment on youtube videos but this kicks ass ! i was trying to learn the initial riff but just got lost in the pure energy and kick assery !!!!
I just discovered your channel. Really enjoyed your videos and playing. This one is my favorite. Please consider doing the whole "White Heat, Red Hot" song. Your quick jam of it was pretty cool.
Great job man, my all time favorite ass kicking high voltage PT song. The song sounds like it's going 100 mph and your just cool as the breeze playing it, lol. Love it. I just learned the song last year right here on TH-cam the right way. You killed it my friend, thanks 🙏
Man ! Been trying to learn guitar forever (admittedly I can slack often) but seeing g someone in such lockstep with a ripping tune like this is awe inspiring to me 👍🏼🤟🏼🤘🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Great cover, love the SG! It sounds amazing! Never got to play a Custom. I saw in a reply to a question you also use a Soldano, NICE, they are unquestionably some of the finest amplifiers around. Love to play/own one. Always been hungry to own a PRS and a SOLDANO amongst other stuff lol rock on my friend your awesome!
Dude, very sneaky with that 70s Ibanez SG…though I have to say I’m a little biased (I got a white one of those as well!) Great playing on a great tune! -R. Ibanez
Saw pat Travers back in the early 80s, good show, I think he opened for Rainbow. Rainbow was great but we got Joe Lynn Turner instead of Dio. Difficult to Cure tour. Saw Dio with Sabbath a couple years later.
Dude you killed it!! Tone and all!!

Good to see this tune and your playing getting some attention. Both are well deserved.
Nailed it! Killer tone too. Thanks for sharing.
some of the finest guitar I've ever heard!
Killer! I first got into him around '77 or '78...he is woefully unknown.
Man. You have that classic Travers/Thrall tone nailed. Excellent!
Awesome playing brother!
Never seen a more aesthetic combo of man and guitar before. That white SG fits you better than a glove. Great playing man.
Thank you!!

Absolutely killed it!! that sounded wicked Troy!
You have given me a new sense of appreciation for how creative Pat Travers is as a songwriter and guitarist. Fantastic cover.

Man, this brought back some killer memories. Rock on, brother!
Only one problem with this video, it ends: must hit replay. Aaaaahhh, beautiful.

I’m digging this so hard! Outstanding job, Troy. Thanks for sharing.

I wish I could take lessons from this guy! He's a monster and I really like how he also does slow blues. Very impressive. He's not an arrogant a-hole either. Some of these guitarists are pompous jerks.
