I saw the Pat Travers Band 40 years ago in Toronto and it remains as one of my all time favorite concerts. Go For What You Know is still one of the best live albums ever. You rock Pat!
Nice to see him using Marshalls again. I never cared for that Blackheart sound. First saw Pat back in the day with Tommy Aldridge, Mars Cowling, and Pat Thrall..the quintisential and my favorite line up. Have seen him numerous times since. He’s always very gracious with the meet and greets after his gigs. I have a signed guitar strap, and the rear control cavity cover on one of my guitars signed. Another time, I bought a double CD at one of his shows, the whole band signed it, then I gave it to a buddy of mine.
I had the chance to meet him coming out of a motel back in late 83 I think it was.he was opening up for Kiss under Lick It up tour. Ask him what he thought of Paul Stanley Paul was a very great performer he said Paul's rhythm playing is really not that bad at all and if he took the time to be still he could be pretty damn good but that's not Paul.
I can tell you.....first met PT in 1983, and he was playing with the fabulous Sandy Gennaro and Pat Thrall. The line came from Thrall, and it stuck. Those guys used to get so high, Pat Thrall said that to a groupie one night by mistake, when she was trying to hustle him.
I notice that Pat really doesn't want to enunciate the line "I got so much cocaine!" in the bridge. I've watched three of these recent live versions, and he mush-mouths that line every time.
Damn...what a musician..!!! Killing at 70yo....hell yes...!!!! Your bass player is good, but his attitude sucks, he thinks he is a special human... I love Pat Travers since 1976....
1979 Houston Texas Colliseum PatTravers Scorpions b oth blow Sammy Hagar the red Rockers ass off the stage! Sammy was headliner half empty after Sammy's 4th song!
I just don`t understand audiences anymore. They have a badass band on the stage right in front of them but would rather watch it through their cell phones. To each his own I guess.
First live concert notes I heard were Pat's, then the Scorpions and Sammy for the headliner in 79 at the Arena in St. Louis, I was 13 and me and a buddy snuck down to 14th row because 2 girls from school "invited" us, we didn't get caught LOL.
Arguably as good as he’s ever been and that’s saying something. Travers juggles singing lead and rhythm playing like it’s nothing. Legend
"..Travers juggles sin..." Is the new name of my old band. 😐
Arguably not.🙄

I saw him in Toronto about that same time, I believe it was at Ryerson University, was that the show you were at?
I saw Pat at Massey Hall on the Black Pearl tour probably in 1982.
That is a great live album and I would say the best album he ever put out
70 years old and still kicking some serious Ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.T. Still Rockin!!!!!!!!!
Criminally under rated

Hell of a show!
That guitar tone 😍
Hell yeah! So sweeeeeet!
David Pastorius on bass ! Wish I could hear him better, but that’s ok, I came for Pat. Smokin’ hot !!!
Wish I could see this man play.
This is the song I loved to crank up to window rattling volume when somebody pulled up next to me with their thumping rap music.
PT is so awesome!!!!!
LEGEND
What I miss is the real playing...Pat Thrall.
Its incredible. He plays and sings just like Rory Gallagher!!
Killer sound quality. Been fortunate to see pat several times.
He shreds that Strat and at 70 years old it sounds great!
Speechless!!! Mr. Travers seems to play as well as he ever did and maybe even a bit better. That is some rock n roll guitar perfection. Wow!!
What a monster guitar sound. Jeez.
All around smokin talented!

Holy crap! Incredible!!!

I expected worse--other than the double chin we all get over time still the same: leads, rhythm guitar vocals--amazing
Try acting like human bizman
My guitar hero. Saw PT somewhere around 79 at Gustman Hall in So Flo and I do play guitar and PT is definitely been my main influence.

I wish someone would splain to me what the meaning to the song Snortin whiskey is. My favorite pat Travers tune.

I think he spilled his shot on his line.
🎉🎉🎉
Pat could be Nigel Tufnel s replacement of Spinal Tap easily.
I notice that Pat really doesn't want to enunciate the line "I got so much cocaine!" in the bridge. I've watched three of these recent live versions, and he mush-mouths that line every time.
i hear him muttering yayoh wich we know is slang for marching powder
Pat, it’s time to go play golf. Your best days are behind you.
^^^Says the quiet part out loud.

100 percent agree, get up and rock!

Love pat but he's looking bad probably by putting coke in coffee
