I like the tiny chest for the reason you gave. But one thing that seems to be lacking from this game is items being transferred between chests based on priority. So a tiny chest won't get refilled from your larger supply room.
Also, I think the tiny chest is still too big for some applications. If I want to send a certain meals to several dining room chests, there is no way to tell the haulers to automatically put those meals in both chests.
I think it would be good if haulers would try to evenly spread out items across the chests that allow them that have the same priority, and fill up higher priority storage first.
Edit: as for how much faster the bitterrice grows, I think the properties of the planter give you that info. Last time I checked, a patch of bitterrice took a little less than 2 days to fully grow.

Agreed on everything about hauling - I really don’t like it that haulers won’t take from a priority 3 chest to a priority 5 chest. I also think they could do a better job having haulers take items to existing stacks rather than starting a new stack in a chest with the same priority. Hopefully those things get updated!

@@Wympy1 Maybe some toggleable options on the chests would be nice. Like specifying you want each stack to be a different item type. Or the ability to specify a maximum amount of a specific item per chest.
Also, it would be great if we could adjust chest contents in bulk. You can already double click a chest and it will select all chests on that level in that room. It shouldn't be too hard to implement that changing the options there changes them for all the selected chests.
Lastly, it would be good to have a gamewide option to disable all type of harvests/chop downs/mining of an object if there is no room for it. This would be especially useful for farming, if your crops are fully grown but you have more than enough already.

The food production still suck balls in my opinion. Let me break it down for you how much time you need for your staff/student to eat a meal:
time to grow the food + time to harvest + time to send the food to storage + time to deliver food to cooking pot + time to cook + time to deliver the cooked food to storage + time to deliver it to your table and eat it.
Now compare to eat gutberry while standing.....

For tier 1 wands, this might be fine. But for tier 2, and especially tier 3 wands, you need the extra conviction from a fancy dining room (up to 25 conviction). Also, a raw gutberry gives a big conviction debuff. I like to keep my mages as comfortable as possible to prevent the possibility of breaks, which means giving them a fancy dining area and some decent food. If eating raw gutberries while standing is working for you, then don't stop - but know that if you're having breaks, that is probably a contributing factor.

@@Wympy1 I know, all my staff are tier 2(and it works). Tier 3 does not do much at this stage other than draining your staff conviction ATM. I keep my staff conviction in check by using the grave buff, it works like magic(pun intended)

@@Wympy1 Also, here is a small tip. If your staff is low on conviction, let them graduate your student one by one and NOT all 4 at once. Because otherwise your staff might get "miss out" debuff. Graduating student one by one using different staff ensure everyone happy.
