  • Can a mysterious ancient labyrinth in the Maya city of Yaxchilan be the entrance to a legendary Atlantean Hall of Records?

My wife and I visited Yaxchillan several years ago. We joined a tour from Palenque. The problem was our guide spoke primarily Spanish as all the other people on our tour were Mexican and we didn't understand 90 percent of what he was describing.
I remember wandering through these passages but didn't know anything about "Atlantean Hall of Records", let alone a connection to Edgar Cayce. Both seem a reach. Modern man can only dream and fantasize about these structures. The stones are silent.

Must have been frightening in its day. Probably a great place for ghost hunters and psychic mediums

Makes you wonder why so many ancient structures all over the world have areas that are blocked off, gated, covered, or restricted...what is being hidden and why doesn't the prevailing authority over each area make more of an effort to discover (or reveal) what lies beyond?

Wow! No o/ne notices that this WALLED up pathway is "walled" from the other side! See at exactly 6:32 point. Look at walled area, up top, RIGHT, and SECOND STONE down. It is 1/2 hiding behind the right side of the passageway. Someone closed this off from ther OTHER SIDE!

Very interesting! I must say I had not noticed it before. The passage does indeed appear to have been walled up from the other side. This suggests that not only does the tunnel continue beyond the walled up section, but that another entrance to the underground system must exist. It would be interesting to have access to the original excavation reports and plans of the tunnels.

I wonder if NASA has or could get a satellite scan of this place with GPR. Who knows what might be discovered. Seems like some potential here.

Albert Lin did the whole area with Liar.

Layout shows it may be that these WALLED passages are EXITS, walled up later to hide the tunnels.
